Had some issues with my BMW, I saw Black Forrest has a great reputation as well as a great quote software. I was quickly updated with the issue via email and text and given an updated price once the issue was found. Very easy and convenient. They did a great job.

I would recommend this business to anybody with a German vehicle... I've owned a few different brands and have been to many of the areas private European vehicle service shops. I just bought my first Audi... Didn't want to take it to the dealership and know better than to take it to the local service station. Black Forest Technik came highly recommended and they were spot on with communication and timing. Their prices are completely reasonable, you know it's never going to be cheap if you have a nice German car. They finished the job in a very reasonable amount of time and gave me a full report with additional inspection information upon completion. I will bring the Audi back to them for it's next service and recommend some of my friends to head that way.

I was referred to Black Forest Techik by someone, I had lots of questions and they answered all of them quickly and promptly, didn t make me feel like any question was a dumb one. They got my atlas in quickly and got me finished the same day. Such amazing work and so easy to deal with. I would recommend them a thousand percent.

Good and fast work. The glass on the driver side mirror on my Audi A4 was loose. Told me exactly what needed to be done and when the parts will arrive. Once the parts got in, it was replaced in less than half an hour and good to go. They definitely know what they are doing.

If you re reading this, then chances are you too were born with the same burden of love for German/European vehicles, and unsurprisingly you need a shop to take your car or S.U.V. to. You will find that there are a lot of choices in the area, however Black Forrest should be on your short list of places to take your vehicle. Starting with the shop location, it s easy entry, and easy to locate. Contacting and dropping off my vehicle was extremely easy, as they have one of the coolest drop boxes/pick up boxes I ve ever seen, I seriously looked at it for five minutes. Everyone who works at Black Forrest seems to have a passion for their work. At the front of the shop, Morgan is a fantastic advisor, excellent communication, extremely knowledgeable, all with a kind attitude throughout. Their platform for repair orders makes communication effortless, and you will always feel informed. Jonny is also a friendly and knowledgeable shop manager! To the back of the shop, Steve worked on my car, and was extremely knowledgeable about the issue we faced, and repaired my car with extremely high-quality work.You simply will not find a more friendly, professional, and caring group of people than you will at Black Forrest. Also, if you must wait for your vehicle their waiting area is a nice place to spend some time! Looking forward to seeing them soon!

I was extremely hesitant and skeptical about finding a shop that ll work on my lifted Cayenne since not many shops have much experience with them. It brought me so much relief to pull up to their shop and see a bunch of beautiful german cars out front (especially the lifted 958 ). Morgan & the rest of the team are friendly, communicative, and exhibit professionalism and expertise that you don t come across everyday. I ll most definitely be bringing my rig here from now on.

Got a wheel alignment done at Black Forest Technik on my E46 M3. They did a great job and have amazing customer service.I was very particular about my alignment and they were very understanding & did not make me feel like I was being annoying, admittedly though I kind of was, but that goes to show their level of customer service. My trusted auto performance and mechanic in the area! I've been a customer of Black Forest since early 2021. They have been nothing short of professional for both regular maintenance work and for performance upgrades and modifications, with clear knowledge and expertise when asked for recommendations. I have not had any issues with any of their work or service, I have only ever made one minor complaint about the cosmetic symmetry of one of the exhaust tips that was installed and they fixed it without question.I trust them with all things VW and German, and trust them for my annual 10K services, software tunes, and also bolt-ons/hardware upgrades. I have recommend multiple friends to their shop, including Mercedes and Minis, and I could not recommend them more.Also funny thing to note, I had heard of their reputation prior to moving to the raleigh area due to their popularity with Golf enthusiasts, especially their shifter knobs (I'm from Europe). I was pleasantly surprised to realise they were local to NC when I moved here and they have definitely lived up to the hype

I own a 2006 Porsche Cayman S. Just recently moved to Raleigh and had no idea where to look for a performance shop to work on my car for regular maintenance and upgrades. I recently purchased a catback exhaust for the car. I was pointed towards a different shop to get the work done but when I brought it to them to drop off, they said they were unable to do it since it was a valved exhaust and my car did not have a factory valved system. It required the running of vacuum tubes and wiring for the system to work. I was pretty bummed obviously because I was eager to get it on the car but they suggested checking out Black Forest Technik down the road to see if they could do it. From the get go I had nothing but the best experience dealing with everyone at Black Forest. Brought my car to them late in the afternoon that day and they said they could get it done. They sent me a quote that night and were able to fit me in the schedule the very next day. Dropped it off Tuesday afternoon and it was ready by Friday afternoon. Unfortunately I was unable to get there to pick it up before close due to work but that wasn t an issue. They have a drop box for your key they send you a code for in order to pick up your car after hours. I went to pick up the car and all I can say is WOW. What a difference that exhaust makes. But the careful work and customer service Black Forest provided me is what really impressed me. Morgan and Marye behind the front the desk were excellent to work with! I had nothing but the best experience I could have had and I will 100% be bringing my car back to Black Forest Technik for any service or upgrades I have planned in the future. I highly recommend them!

Took my beloved classic Mercedes to Black Forest Technik for an event about an hour from my home. Morgan and the crew were very nice and tremendously knowledgable. The work coming out of the shop was all clean and well executed. I will definately trust them to service my pride and joy.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This place is awesome. I have a 2013 Audi A3. My car s check engine light and glow plug coul lights had come on. When I called the dealership where I have always taken my car, I was told they couldn t fit me in for a month and that I shouldn t drive the car. I was quietly recommended to contact Black Forest Technik. I called Tuesday and Morgan had an appointment for me on Thursday. The news of what was going on with my car was disastrous; however, Morgan walked me through all of my options explaining each. I am not a car person and he was great at explaining everything to me. During the repair period my car was there, I was kept abreast of everything going on and expected times. I can t recommend this place enough. Needless to say I will be using Black Forest from here on out.

I had my air suspension ordered & installed by them and it was an exemplary experience. I had a short time frame and they got everything done within time. Like anything dealing with suspension when I first took the car home there was a few minor problems but they welcomed me back multiples times and made sure they got it right with no extra charge. I can respect a shop that sticks to their word. I would recommend these guys. The techs are well educated and Morgan did great keeping me in contact and keeping me updated as the build went on. 10/10

I took my car to Black Forest Technik for a performance software upgrade, and it was such a pleasant experience! They kept me informed of their progress and were very helpful. The big screen TV, the comfortable couches..I'm thinking this will be my new destination for maintenance and services!!

My BMW lost power completely while driving and cannot start at all. I was worried about the repair cost. My trusted advisor at Apex Imports (they are closing) recommended Black Forest Technik to me. What a great recommendation! This shop is my trusted BWM shop from now on! They know what they are doing. They found out the issue with battery (not alternator. :-) ) quickly and replaced it it at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I've had my mk7 GTI from mile 0 to 110,000, putting it through daily driving, cross country trips, to autocross racing. When my manual transmission started to go, I looked into shops around the area and when the 2nd gear selection finally went, I called up BFT and we got the process rolling. I got the car towed over, they diagnosed and found the issue, sent over an immediate quote and parts ordered once I authorized. Once they got the replacement trans, didn't take them long to swap it out and also throw out the old OEM clutch for a new Stage 2 from South Bend.Been driving around for 100 miles and craftmanship is solid and reliable, the car is much more responsive with the new clutch, really happy for their advisement on the parts and really happy they were the ones wrenching all it together.Big thanks and shout out to the crew, Morgan, Jonny, Adam, all the folks who worked on the car and put things back together that I myself ripped out trying to diagnose it myself initially (airbox, shift cables, shifter, etc). Respectful folks all around, looking forward to working with them again down the road.Service: Transmission

I love the Volkswagen brand but sometimes it can be difficult getting work done whether it be for parts, technology, price or whatever else. After trying several different shops around the Durham and Raleigh, I finally found this place. They were able to diagnose the problem, explain it to me is simple terms and fix it in all under 2 hours. Very thankful they took the stress out of my experience.

Professionalism, integrity, and honesty... not being charged for 'non-work' even though they had my car for an hour. Communication lines are always open, and the Service Managers always patient with me when talking about all of the "what if's" with my cars. I live over an hour away but it's worth the drive for me to get my car serviced there.

I've been taking my Audi's to BFT for years now and I've never had to return for a misdiagnosed problem or repair done less than exactly as I could hope. The right job gets done well. The team seems to be as much enthusiasts as techs and their commitment to quality of work is a relief when owning these fickle beasts.
