I would pass up 20 other parts stores to come to this location. Everytime I come here John is always helpful, knowledgeable and remembers your name. It's not just about the parts, it's about the people. John should not only be a regional manager, he should train employees on how to treat your customers. I'll be back because of John and I will spread the word

See update below. I would normally give the AutoZone (Store # 4628) in Candler, NC a high rating, but not after today's (23 Dec 23) experience. I went in with the make, model, year and VIN# of the car I need parts for. I even had the OEM part #s listed. The older gray haired/gray bearded employee ("manager") looked at the list. He typed some stuff in and showed me the screen, which showed nothing. He then asked me for the AutoZone part #s. I asked him why I would have the AutoZone part #s if I came in for the AutoZone part #s and price. He showed me the screen again, which showed me nothing at all. What I was being shown on the screen was categories of parts. He pointed at the screen and said, "Look. None of your parts are showing up." He made no attempt to select sub-categories. I honestly felt like he was intentionally not helping me for whatever reason. Really odd and uncalled for. The attitude and lack of customer service was pretty immature and unprofessional. Stay away!Update: I went in the next day and spoke to another "manager" who said there were quite a few complaints against the other employee and there was nothing he could do. He told me to call one of the two phone #s listed on a sheet of paper on the window. He also informed me that he and the other employee are not managers. The store has no GSM or managers, according to him.9 Jan 24- I went from a 1 star review to a 4 star review (no 5 star because AutoZone is accountable for their employees) because I appreciate that AutoZone management (Jordan- District Manager) took an interest in righting a wrong. This is one of very few times I've seen action taken on a review. I truly appreciate it. I also appreciate the "new" store manager following up with me. Setting the example!

Be sure to ask for Dan when you make a purchase! He was quick to offer help with my wife's car's battery, both with choosing the battery and installing it. Awesome service! Thanks Dan!

Very clean, organized and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes you need something nearby that is not just for your car. They have a great selection for your hobby or other needs in addition to tools, accessories and take care of your 4 wheeled family member. Check the ad or online for great deals.

Called and paid for a part. Sent an employee to go pick up the part and they refused to give it to my employee. They needed manager approval. Manager wasn t in store. Not my first or second time dealing with a bunch of idiots. Take your business elsewhere. Rude horrible customer service

I was in the store this past Sunday, I had lost a bearing on the road on my motorcycle trailer John the manager was able to help me get all the parts I need to get back on the road big shout out to you guys there thank you for the help I didn't even know you had trailer parts in there

Parts clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. Checked my battery and told me what I already knew, just making sure with the tester. He pulled it and installed the new one. Back on the road in no time.

I don't shop at AutoZone due to multiple bad new parts in the past. Customer ordered a power steering line from here so I went in to get the part. Sales people were very polite and generous and the part was correct. Returned after I got the job done and again they showed respect professionalism

Shane offered to help me with my belt and other issues with my car. As a single mom I wasn t sure what to do and he graciously helped me and my daughter so we could get home. He is an amazing person and AutoZone is lucky to have such a great employee who goes above and beyond to help.

It's great if you know exactly what you need and don't need any help or expert advice. The staff was too busy gossiping to ask if we needed help, and when my husband finally did have to ask a question, the young man had no clue whatsoever.

G great employees. Great service. Even got an employee discount on brake pads cuz I was running short on money something I was not expecting. All I can say is I do recommend going there for stuff they will treat you right and do you good

I'm a truck driver and was in desperate need of some help as I blew a head gasket on my truck. The people at this store are absolutely amazing! When another local parts store had attitudes and wouldn't help these amazing people stepped up and came to my rescue with things I needed! Thank you all so very much!!!

The gentleman here where very courteous and happy to help, store is very clean and well organized and easy to find the items you need, especially when in a hurry for an emergency road trip! It can be a little difficult to access off the main drag, I highly recommend coming when it's not as busy on Smokey Park Hwy just because of the entrance but otherwise a very nice store!

Checked my oil one day to make sure it wasn't low... Well is wasn't until I forgot to put the cap back on and it was just spewing everywhere after driving a good 25 miles. Stopped here and luckily they had the oil cap size I needed! Thank you!

Don't expect to be helped with anything unless you do it yourself. And if you need something that has to be delivered, don't expect it to be there on time. And don't expect them to call you when it arrives. Absolutely terrible. After these multiple visits with less than satisfactory results, I'm sticking with Advance Auto

The boy that helped me was very nice and have me the lowest price that I asked for So he was really helpful in saving me money as the last time I bought something from Auto zone they gave the expensive one and right now trying to cut down on cost means a little more in these times we are having but over all store was clean and young man was so helpful

Worker claimed they weren't able to check an alternator or starter because "the machine was inside" even though the website says they can. Went down the street to Advance and they did it with no problem at all. Will never be back.

When I needed to replace the oil cap in my city Express work van, O'Reilly ordered me a cap that turned out to not fit and I had to wait almost a week to get it.I can't do this AutoZone and ask for the part. Their computer said they didn't have it but are employee Justin knew enough to know that a universal for a Mitsubishi might fit it I tried it and it did thank you I was on at thank you Justin

I went in on Friday the 2nd and purchased an entire set of Alpena under glowz, lights that go under my car Installed them on Saturday and everything was fine somehow by Monday night they had fallen off and all that was left was a piece of wire so I took that the receipt and the box back to the AutoZone store here in Candler walked and the manager happened to be standing there closest customer service rep to me so I approached him and began to explain my situation and he was extremely rude saying he wasn t gonna return an empty box I tried letting him know multiple times that I didn t want my money back that all I wanted was to exchange and get another set he continued to be just extremely rude and completely unhelpful. I finally had enough of his humiliation of me so I left and called the corporate office left a message and was quickly called back by regional manager Brandon he was extremely nice and just so helpful and just before he called I had called the Patton ave store spoke with their manager Mark he was also very pleasant and said to come down there and he would gladly take of it and between Brandon and Mark it wasn t even an issue I walked into the Patton ave store wasn t there 10 minutes and mark even gave me a $10 and some change courtesy rebate so I got my new lights which is $106.99 and $10 and some change refund for the inconvenience and running I had to do. So the Candler store will no longer receive my business because it has been more than earned by the Patton ave store!!!!!

Tonight my mother and i came Into auto zone to get a headlight replaced. An employee came out to attempt to replace it and said he couldn t replace the bulb because it was bolted down so my mother commented that her daughter could assist by putting her thin hand to pull out the bulb. His response was a doubtful grunt and said he was unable to replace it and walked back inside. So my mother and I had to replace it ourselves outside of autozone at 9pm at night. Took us 10 mins to do. What gentlemen .

Was well staffed. They didn't have the part I needed but they help me return the wrong part I ordered online so over all I was pleased.
