Almost passed this place up. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the amount of antiques to look at. Part of the thrill of stopping at these places is digging to find that treasure. I was told to look around and talk to him if we were interested in anything. I found my treasure!!! And He gave me a great deal. The owner went out of his way to help me find what I needed and gave me a great deal. I had a great conversation with both owners and also was told about some of the other antiques. There s something about just taking your time, enjoying each others company, and finding those treasures. Especially when you get to talk about what make those treats special to those that are seeking them.

Ha! What a fun place! We saw this from the main road and immediately turned around to check it out.First, the view! Wow! It's worth it to stop for that view.Second, it really is clean. Most antique shops are dirty and smelly, but this place loves up to its name.Third, So. Much. Stuff! It's packed with everything you can think of and a bunch of things you can't.Finally, the people were nice and welcoming.

We were delighted to have found this unique store on our family vacation! There is so much neat stuff, it takes a while to take it all in! My hubby hit the jackpot with this place because it had all the things he likes and wanted for his man cave! The owners were the most kindest and friendly people we've met and it felt like visiting friends/family! I've never seen an antique store like this in Orlando, Fl, so this was so much fun for us. Our kids enjoyed the store too, there's something for everyone here! We cannot wait to visit again!

The first visit he did not seem happy when we asked how much things were because we felt the prices were high! When we stopped in on our 2nd visit with our friends the owner was mowing and we were talking with his wife outside about an item we wanted him to authenticate the wife seemed interested and she was nice but he was so busy looking up at us talking to his wife he wrecked his lawn mower. He came up and hinted it was our fault because he was distracted and wrecked his $10,000 mower he said this to us several times along with being dismissive to my husband and his wife s demeanor changed immediately when the husband came up. She was no longer interested in our item and she was saying it s not your fault. I felt extremely uncomfortable and asked my friend to get her family out of the store so we could leave. With this experience we will never stop there again. On a side note we did purchase something on our visit but not again! I typically do not do reviews but this man was so in anger it scared me!

Owner smelt like a brewery and had been drinking. He was nice while your looking around but if you dont buy anything he gets rude.

I absolutely love this place. My wife and I have been stopping here for a few years now. Huge selection of antiques, very highly quality. The owners always make us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Nice selection of items. Quite cluttered and not easy to navigate in the shop. The owners comment about kicking the tires when I inquired about some items, was a HUGE turn off for me. I could have bought an item I inquired about, but when I am treated disrespectfully, I don t wish to trade with merchants of that type. I highly DO NOT recommend it! I see why there is a vast selection of items.

Let me start off by saying WOW!!! We had seen the store many times from the road, and decided to stop by for a visit. There is a large amount of quality items out front but I had no idea what to expect on the inside. The building is full, full, full. And the owners are so very helpful. There are stories that go with many of the items and the are extremely knowledgeable about the dates, uses, and origins of the items they sell. The stock is being added to continuously and we look forward to going back regularly to explore all the new finds. I can't say enough good things about this store.

Unfortunately, I have changed my mind about shopping here. The first time I was there, I was so excited to find so many great and unusual items. Darrell and his wife were both very nice. Stopped by there today and totally different experience with Darrell. I had my 82-year-old father with me who loves antiques and thought we would stop as we were driving by. I also had a friend with me and apparently when he went through the door and was looking at something a gas handle off an old gas pump fell off the wall and boy, oh, boy did that set Darrell off. He was beyond rude and called his wife to come into the shop because he couldn't handle us. I just had asked him a question and apparently that was too much for him. He also told his wife that we had been there before and he remembered us and he couldn't handle us. The last time we were there, nothing happened that I remembered that made him mad. I did buy something, granted nothing in the thousands of dollars but I did buy something. His wife apologized for him and said he was having a bad day but if you are going to have a business and deal with the public, you can't make people feel unwanted. The more I thought about it, the more it upset me. My friend says he will never go back there and my dad loved all the things there, but he is not excited to go back unless Darrell isn't there. His wife is a beautiful kind person and she is the greatest, but Darrell really needs to learn some manners or stay out of the people business. Sorry to have to write this. My first review which I did either here or on facebook was a good one, but I just can't. There is a nice antique store in Mars Hill run by a couple and they are BOTH kind and friendly. Guess that is where we will be shopping from now on and such a shame that we can't go back to Sparkling Clean Antiques.

Had a similar experience as all the other 1 and 2 star reviews. The place is way too crammed full and you cant even begin to see it all because of the tiny paths. Yes there are some nice/neat true antiques in there and neat to see all the while the items that actually are actually priced a lot were priced well over their true valueThe wife seemed really nice and wanting to make a sale and things to move but when the husband showed up - way different tune.If you are seeking specific items she is willing to show you what they have, he on the other hand is telling her in front of the customers "if they aren't going to buy anything don't bring nothing else out". Then when you disagree with a price he gives as his "bottom dollar" which is still over priced and you decide to leave he starts in again to his wife "you can tell their kind.......they weren't going to buy anything.....its not in their budget".If your prices are over priced from us knowing values of certain things and researching them then budget has nothing to do with it. I feel for his wife, she didnt say much at all and if she was rude in any way it wasnt while customers were there. He just is not a business man at all and its no wonder the place is crammed full hoarder like if you treat everyone like they are a nobody and when they dont agree with your high prices then you treat the customers even worse you won't ever sale all that inventory.

Visiting the area we stopped by this store to browse around. Great location and great items. However, the owner is an insulting bully. When we arrived he said all prices negotiable and ask any questions. When I picked up a couple of pieces that were not priced and asked for prices on Pyrex and Corningware, the owners wife gave me prices that I thought were higher than I wanted to pay and therefore I said no thank you. The owner became insulted and started insulting me and telling me that this wasn t a yard sale. I told him I understood that, and I was just asking since items weren t priced. He then began to insult me over and over insinuating I couldn t afford his prices. I decided to leave the store, and he finds my husband in the store and tells him I need to be taken to a yard sale instead. Then this man follows me, my husband, our two friends and their elementary school daughter to our car telling us he made $40,000 that weekend and he wasn t a yard sale. He s a sad man and he s looking for trouble. I would for your safety, avoid this business as they are unprofessional and overpriced.

One of the best antique stores i have ever been to. My wife and i were in the Burnsville area on a mini vacation and luckily she spotted this place from the road so we turned around. The owners were the absolute best people, so friendly and inviting. Made us feel so welcome. I definitely will be back next time im in the area. Huge selection of anything you can think of. If you are in the area definitely stop by, you will be glad you did.

I am one to window shop and look and go back next day after I've had time to think about it and purchase it. If that's you, do not go here! Daryll greeted us with a smile and said that he would work with us on prices but that smile changed before we left. He was actually overly helpful. We really don't know what set him off, but before we left, he was very rude. He made me very uncomfortable. He mumbled some ugly things to his wife as we were walking to our vehicle. As we drove away, he said some things and gestured us away. Not a very professional thing to do He was a little overpriced on some things but not on all. You expect that in antique stores. But just because YOU pay xxx for something doesn't mean that's what it is worth to others. We didn't buy anything and there were things I considered but his demeanor change set me ready to go! He was Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde! I really wish we had read reviews before going.

Place had a ton of stuff. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. You really have to watch for this place, if your coming from one side you can't see the building it's up on a hill and you will pass it, I had to turn around and then seen the building and sign. If you're into antiques and old stuff you can spend a good amount of time looking around.

My wife and I stopped in just to see what they had and my wife found an apple butter kettle. It was an awesome find and saved us from having to drive down to SC to purchase one. They have a lot of stuff here. Tools , antique toys , kitchen items , wood working items, signs and more. Worth stopping by. Highly recommend

I would actually not choose any stars if I could. The inventory is cramed in there wily- nily. The owner came out and confronted my wife and I soon after we arrived. After we turned down several very high priced items, he decided he didn't like us and became quite rude, especially toward my wife. The longer we stayed, the worse he got.He finally would just say " more than you want to pay" when we would ask how much something was.We finally left, but not before he opened his door so we could hear him loudly proclaiming to his wife, " l don't like those kind of people".Well, we didn't particularly like you either, Darryl. The reason you still have all of that inventory, is because your prices are ridiculous, to the point of being comical. And you are an absolute lowlife miscreant.

My wife and I love antiques and antique shops. Through time we have collected many and look forward to finding a new place.I am giving two stars because many of the antiques are very nice and not easily found, but the owner (Darrell) became overwhelming and insulting. He followed us outside bragging about the things he has acquired, but when I asked for information about some of the items outside he began to tell me, ... look underneath that, if you can t see what that is then you don t know much. He even said, that s not for you, implying we aren t antique people? He then challenged me to guess what the worth of an item was to see my knowledge I suppose. It eventually got to where I had to ask him not to insult us any further. If you can get past Darrell s braggadocious attitude, the antiques are nice.

We thoroughly spending part of a rainy afternoon here. The owners are very friendly and happy to chat about their inventory. The store is chock full of interesting finds and every inch really is sparkling clean. Amazing for antique lovers with allergies!

Prices where extremely high on several reproduction items I inquired about, asking antique prices on brand new China made items. Lots of things inside but you can't get to anything because of the entire aisle being blocked and items just tossed on top of one another. I would pass on this shop.

Finally an antique store that has fair prices. The owners are great, down to earth people. They have quality stuff not like some of the junkyard stores that overpriced their yard sale or picked threw garbage items.
