I was fine, until I saw the oil sludge in the headliner in my car. Unfortunately, when I noticed, I was already in Lexington, 45 minutes away from the location. I explained this to the owner, who said "if you can get it back here we'll clean it, whether or not we did it." When I tried to explain that I sent photos and no one has serviced the car since we've owned it (few short months) I got a raised voice and a different attitude. I'm sure the owner will respond by saying something about how I raised my voice also, which is true. After he insinuated that I was lying, I got a little annoyed. I paid over $200 bucks for one tire and all I wanted was for the owner to make it right. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to physically get back there to have it corrected, as I explained to them more than once, so I naively assumed the owner would give me a small discount, maybe 10% or something. Considering I now have to purchase something to clean the sludge off my car. Apparently that's a bridge too far for this place. Oh! The super awesome technician couldn't figure out how to turn off my tire sensor light, so I had to do that. Thank God for YouTube. Go elsewhere.

This is the best place to take your car. They are so kind and trustworthy. I personally have never had a mechanic that would go out of their way for me like Mike. They truly love to help people.

I came down from Ohio for thanksgiving and had some pretty bad engine problems on the way down, I went to 3 other dealerships and automotive place's who pretty much ignored me. I mean here I am 600 miles from my home ( my family lives her in whitsett), I was really just devestated!Anyway, 6 days later I m still stuck. I finally I called garden and they said bring it on in, we will fit you in somehow.Well the diagnosis wasn t good but the folks at Garden sure took care of me the best they could. I was able to get home, get back to work! A true blessing ! I can t thank Garden enough for their compassion, honesty and service !Thank you Mike and Elizabeth, I think you all are awesome !Loren

Amazing shop pretty friendly. I brought my new car here to fix a coolant pipe the day I bought it. They weren't the best at giving me a call back for simple things like (When the part arrived or when they ordered it). At first I brought the car in on a Tuesday (8/29/23) and was told that they would look at it and order the part same day. I called on Thursday for an update and was told it hadn't been ordered yet. I decided not to bug them much more and waited till the next week on Tuesday (9/5/23) to contact them and I did get some answer but had to call back because I didn't receive an answer on if the part had arrived. The service is superb. The waiting area is clean and smells amazing. They got me right in and right out! Customer service is their thing! You can't go wrong(first time) and it will not be the last!

Went to have some lights replaced and check engine light checked. Was told my back brake light assembly was melted and had to be replaced. Replaced my front low beam bulb to the tune of $16 for the bulb and $103 for labor. Estimate of $3400 to fix 2 codes on car. Took it elsewhere and all lights including rear brake lights are working and only 1 code is showing up indicating fuel injectors need to be cleaned. Used to be a decent place to have work done when Tim was there at the front desk but i dont trust them a bit anymore and i took my car there religiously prior to this experience.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Have been going to Garden Auto about 8 months. Picked them due to convenience to where I live. They have done inspections, oil change, replaced a bulb and put on a new set of tires. Prices are reasonable and service is great. Atmosphere in waiting room is pleasant and folks are friendly and professional. Glad I found them and plan to make them my repair shop.

If you re a female, drive a nice car, or have any self respect, absolutely do not go to this place!!! I asked too many questions, so the guy essentially told me to F off. He could not give me a set amount for what their rates are, he had no clue how long it would take to find the problem with my car, and overall he had a bad attitude and no interest in my business. He verbatim told me this sounds like it isn t going to work, you should probably go somewhere else . Incredibly rude. Please please go anywhere but here.

Do not go here for anything! They are just looking for ways to make you spend more money. I went to get car inspected and they were looking at things for no cause and failed me and my check engine light is not even on. They saying they can t pass it for all kind of little things like a bolt... and added notes that will make it difficult. I know people who do inspections who said they were doing much that wasn t needed. I never had this problem before. I do not recommend them at all!

These guys are the best! This place is designed to make it comfortable for woman to take their car to the shop. I'm not a woman of course but I do love this shop, one reason is because how nice everyone is. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave you will feel comfortable. You can feel comfortable these guys are not going to cheat you out of your money. Very nice and clean facilities, parking is always clean, bathroom is clean. They sell drinks so if you forget to bring something and you are going to be there a while don't worry they have you covered. The only thing that I think that they could fix is they have a TV but it streams ads for the shop on it over and over again 24/7. I'm already in the shop you don't have to advertise to get me in, I'm already here. Put the news on because depending on what you came for you may be there a while. The news or something else could definitely help pass the time faster. Other than that this is the best shop in Burlington!

Mike and Mike have been a great find. I've been taking my vehicles there for over three years. Everything from oil changes, inspections, and tires. Prices are always competitive, scheduling is flexible, and I feel that all the techs there do great work. I cannot recommend them enough.

It only took a phone call to realize the care this staff took when speaking about my sons car. I am in the auto trade for 35 years, the respect and honest answers given were highly appreciated. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I called about 9 this morning to get a quote on replacing a part on my truck, I was told I would get a call back shortly. I happened to be riding by about an hour later and stopped in to see if they could go ahead and gone me the quote. When I walked in and began to ask the man standing behind the counter for a quote on the same part, he stated that someone else cad called and I confirmed that it was me. He said he still didn't have a quote and when I asked how long it would be he stated "About an hour or so, you aren't the only person I have to get quotes for today so."I FINALLY got a call after 3pm (6 hours later) with a quote 3x more than what any other shop had quoted me.

I always go her to get my oil changed, inspection and for all other car needs. I needed to get some miscellaneous car work done. These guys don t usually do this and they went out of there way to help me out. They did an awesome job with my car and i couldn t be happier. I highly recommend you give them your business because they will do anything to get the job done.Service: Tires

I called at 10:30 am, scheduled a 12pm inspection, oil change and wiper replacement. Mike greeted me and was extraordinarily friendly the whole time. Unfortunately my lunch was a bit shorter than the time they needed to finish up the work (which was amazing and very reasonably priced!!!) and Mike went out of his way to drop me off at my job located up the road, despite my insistence that I would walk! He then *dropped my car off* no more than 15 minutes later at my job. I have never had such amazing service before. I will absolutely come back and recommend this shop to everyone.

I have been bringing my car here for 2 years and have nothing but great things to say. As a woman who knows little about cars, I appreciate that the employees here explain what they are doing to my car and suggest things that I may have forgotten to do (but not in an unnecessary, upselling way). The prices are good and I feel confident that my car is being well taken care of here. Thanks for all your help!!

I have to hand it to Lori, Caroline, Mike Sr., Mike Jr. they know how to take care of customers and vehicles. It s hard to find trustworthy auto mechanics but Garden Automotive is definitely trustworthy. I highly recommend you go see them. You will be surprised that they can handle simple and beyond. They haven t told me to try another shop yet. Their experience is amazing.

They do a good job on changing oil! They never push you to get other things done, they will recommend something, like transmission flush,etc. I am giving only two stars because I had asked if they could un-hook my battery and then hook it back up because the 'trac off' light will not go off, they charged me $8, if I had known they were going to charge, I would have done it myself, I have a toolbox in my trunk.

True definition of customer service, and integrity. Especially when it comes to a finding a trusting mechanic. I had Mike and his guys work on my vehicles, and they aren't just dilligent, but do there research, as it turned out some pretty expensive repairs that I would have to had paid, was covered and taken csre of the dealership in which I had purchased it from. Very relieved, thankful, and would recommend them to any one in need of a trusting mechanic. Thank You Gardren Automotive for setting the standard, and providing a "peace of mind"!!!

This is one of the most beautiful and neat Car Automotive shops in Burlington, NC.Nice,friendly, and helpful.They have beautiful Flowers also to Sale,and gorgeous wreaths to hang on any door. They know how to make you fill right at home.

I'm only giving it one star so I can leave this review. I didn't use this place but my fiance did. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this place for any services besides oil changes. They don't stand behind their work as the website states. Waste of time and moneyService: ElectricalService: Electrical

Recommended by word of mouth when I needed a Volkswagen automotive service in 2007. Mike (the owner) and Mike (the employee) are both excellent, honest, and fair. I've been a customer of Garden Auto & Tire for years, from oil changes to inspections to tire changes, and everyone there knows me by name.GA&T will tell you when they cannot fix something and you have to go to a dealership, or when something was so simple to fix, that there was no charge - just their standard friendly service. It does help to telephone ahead 24 hours, just in case.

Took my car to have then take a look and see why I had a rough idle and give me a quote for how much to repair was told it needed new spark plugs a new coil pack and a new ac belt as well as two tires the quote was over 700 dollars. when I said I wasn't willing to pay that price I was told I would need to pay 77 dollars for the price quote even though They hadn't done any work. I would stay away from this shop as you can see from the reviews they are not honest or good people by the way in case anyone was wondering why I thought there quite was so bad I took the car to sears auto center and had every thing done for 260 dollars lol they even had the nerve to threaten me when I told them I was gonna write this review. At this point I just want people to know the kids me of people they are dealt my with here. Sears autocenter actually did a great job for me and there prices where much better I would recommend them over this place anyday.

Had been going here for years for oil changes and recommended to others but I will not go back and will not recommend to others anymore. I was overcharged and misinformed of the services that were to be done to my car. Nice folks but need to inform customers of pending charges before service is performed.

We have taken our vehicles here for several years and always had good experiences, until this time. We needed the exhaust manifold/catalytic converter assembly replaced. We could have taken it to a cheaper place, but as I stated, we have had good experiences here for several years and decided to have them do it. They replaced the part and told us it was finished. My wife picked up the car and when she got it home realized it was leaking oil, a lot of oil. We went back and looked where it was parked after being worked on and sure enough, oil was there. We took pictures. Not a few drops, but a good amount. There were zero oil leaks prior and we thought perhaps they accidentally broke the oil pan. No problem. Stuff happens. Called them to tell them and they said it was leaking beforehand. No, it wasn t. We left the car overnight and the spot it was in didn t have any oil leaked. They said the repair was nowhere near the oil pan, but it is literally right next to the oil pan. They said they never touched the oil pan, but then later said they touched it because they saw a little paint flaking off because of rust. Why would you start messing with it if you weren t doing anything to it? If it was a leak because of some rust, it would have started as a slow drip, not where all of my oil is drained out overnight. Then they said it was something we ran over on the way home, but forgot about the oil sitting in the parking lot after they worked on it. Also, every time we have gone there and they saw something else wrong, they always called and told us, asking if we want it repaired since its already there. Nothing this time, they said they thought we knew about it and people drive cars with leaking oil pans all the time. My guess is when they were welding the parts on they damaged the oil pan, thought we wouldn t notice and when we did bring it back, they would get more work. Now, I have a car sitting in the driveway with no oil because its all over our driveway, so I can t drive it anywhere to fix it, and if I had the tools to do it myself, they would not have replaced the other part. I don t mind mistakes as long as you are honest. Even if they didn t mess up and noticed it was leaking, they should have said something, but didn t. What I do mind is how they went about all of this after we spent over $1,300. They are blaming it on us knowing it was not leaking before it showed up. I would have noticed it sitting in my driveway day after day without being driven. There would also be oil where we parked it the night before, but there isn t. This leak happened in their shop and now they don t want to take any responsibility. All they had to do was replace the oil pan while it was on the lift. Instead they let my wife drive away in a car severely leaking oil and could have possibly ruined the engine. They then said if we wrote a poor review that would be slander. No, it s a review of personal experience. Years of happy service destroyed in one incident. We won t be back, not that they care. Now, please respond with your fabricated reasons of justification and continue to blame us for your failure. EDIT: Apparently we are not able to respond to your reply, so I will add it here. First, you did not call us to tell us anything about the oil leak. Mike only called to tell us we needed another O2 sensor because it was stripped out when removed. Second, do I need to post a photo of the oil pan to prove it was not rusted through? I still have it in my garage. I will happily post it here to show you are not telling the truth. Additionally, I can post all of the photos we took of your parking lot showing no oil leak where we left it, oil where you left it, and oil in our driveway after you repaired it. The last time I checked, rust doesn't focus on a tiny squared shaped spot to put a hole in the oil pan and no where else. I am not a certified mechanic, but I do know how to work on cars. I changed this oil pan myself. We didn't even bring it back for you to finish the annual inspection.
