My car is a huge part of my life so when it went down with various issues from a previous repair I knew I needed to see the doctorAll the car show goers recommended him so I took the chanceHe went thoroughly over all the issues asking me for invoices, reports, past repairs to understand the root cause of the issuesTurned out the previous repair was not only some incorrectly but they put Chinese on my American muscleThe car rejected the throttle body because of it and caused sooo many issuesDoc Mopar figured it all out got a sweet bbk throttle body ordered and then helped me get a few performance upgrades and tune completedThe car has never run better everything is perfectly running and runs even better we the amazing time he did! unlike the previous shop he did not say to fix the car you need to drive like a grandma for awhile then those warning lights will go off (WHAT!?)I drove that thing after repair the way a muscle car should be driven like a bat out of hell hahahaI recommend all mopars to the doc totally worth it and easy to work with!!He updates you nearly daily on the progress and always asks you before doing stuff to repair or upgrade certain aspects of the whole processThanks again Chris! Well, what can I say. I took my 2014 Dodge Durango RT to Dr Mopars High Performance after shopping endless hours with performance shops from NC, SC, to VA. Not quite sure how I ended up here, but so glad I did. I had a blown head gasket on my Durango, that even regular repair shops didn't want to touch. So I decided on just doing a full engine rebuild. Everything new except the block, crankshaft, and heads. (The heads basically received everything new, and polished ports!) With a little bit of performance upgrades like cam, throttle body, headers, MDS delete kit, lifter and springs, catch can, coils. And I'm sure I missed something in the list?! Also received a full transmission fluid and filter change. Well, she is back in the driveway, and man oh man, does she roar. Well worth the wait. And 1/3 of the cost of all those huge performance garages. I will say this, Chris always returned ALL of my texts. He always kept me informed along every milestone. Did it take longer then your bigger shops? Absolutely it did. This is the beauty of small business, that's the fabric of our country. More then worth the wait, and cost!! Thank you Dr Mopar!

No help at two dodge dealers. After a six month wait from the dealer on a part that was on back order, and then got lost in transport. I personally had to find the part out of state. Friend told me about Dr. Mopar. They diagnosed the issue explained what the problem was and offered options. Dealers just said exhaust actuators were bad period. Didn't say if it was or both. Neither dealer gave me anything showing codes for problem. Dr. Mopar sent video of diagnoses. Offered a solution at about half what the dealers wanted.

Very pleased with their work and friendliness. ABS and traction control lights were active on the dashboard, they checked the codes and diagnosed the problem as some bad sensors due to grease leaking on them. Replaced the sensors and haven't had any issues since. Made recommendations for some future repairs but informed me that they could wait about 6 months as they weren't pressing issues that would be a safety hazard. Kept me informed with updates, pictures and videos. Owned by an Army vet and as a Marine, I was willing to overlook this minor issue since his prices were reasonable. Besides, if everyone could be a Marine, then we wouldn't be the few and the proud!!

I was referred to Dr Mopars by a friend after asking around if anyone knew a trustful mechanic. Chris was very helpful and let me watch what he was doing to my car. He showed me what the issue was and worked with my budget. Will definitely go back!

My Dodge Challenger gave me problems starting as I was trying to leave Dollar General, it was late and I knew most places were close to the end of the business day. I took a chance and called Dr Mopars High Performance, I'm glad I did, even though they were extremely busy, they were gracious enough to look at my car to get me home safely.It turned out my battery cable wasn't tightened up properly from a previous battery install. I got home safely, and they made a new customer, I highly recommend Dr Mopars High Performance

Dr. Mopar helped with my wife's 2016 Jeep Patriot. It was running rough and bogged down when accelerating. I explained what it was doing and he told me to check the ignition coils. Turned out one was bad. I replaced the coil and then started it. It resolved the issue. Thank you Dr. Mopar!

Dr Mopar is the real deal. Alway classy and great work ethic. You can't make everyone happy but he did great work for me. Definitely worth a try.

If I can give these guys another star I would. They did a great job on my Dodge Challenger srt. I m very happy with the work they did. They are reliable and understanding they will work with you whatever the situation might be. When it comes to performance I recommend you go to Dr Mopars High Performance. Everything time I get in my car and start it . It puts a smile on my face!

No complaints with this shop. They seem passionate about what they do. He will go the extra mile to go above and beyond to do a good job. I am thankful for getting headers installed on my Challenger as it is not a task for the lighthearted. Completely trust worthy shop.

I found Dr Mopar via Google when I wasn t satisfied with the previous shop I went to. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing and what was wrong, so that I can understand. Despite giving me a peace of mind, he has the best prices around!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. The team at Dr. Mopars High Performance rewired my 74 Roadrunner front to back with all new state of the art fuses and wiring. They rebuilt the carb and installed new gauges. They got and got my baby running like no other mechanic has been able to do. I've had several shops try to get it right with no luck. The team at Dr. Mopars was able to get in dialed in at a very reasonable price! Although it took longer than I expected, the end result was amazing! I would recommend this shop to a friend.

I recently had my 2017 Charger Rt cammed and longtube headers installed by Dr. mopar, and let me tell you he did an excellent job with technicians. They had a great amount of knowledge with mopar and were very helpful and staight toward. Being a cam I was nervous having my newer motor took apart and couldn t have chosen anyone better, they provided pictures and updates through the process. They have very good knowledge dealing with mopar performance and and know there parts and how to make sure things everything running correct. I brought in my own cam kit and headers with cats and also had him tune the vechile via email with jay Greene racing, he had no problem installing any of it, made the car run like a beast. I would highly recommend having any mopar modification or any mopar work done by dr.mopar high performance. Any doubts or want to know prices for modifications or work done they well handle it give them a look, they provide detail quotes and can get the parts for you. Extremely happy with the outcome of my Charger, thanks!!!

I have used Dr. Mopar on several occasions in trying to get my 62 Chrysler 300H , tuned for maximum performance , Chris Ketterman is very knowledgeable on all your Mopar vehicles ! I have used other localMechanics with limited success ! Most do not understand the Carter carbs used on my 300H , so give them a try ! Chris is a Veteran , so he will get you a answer , to fix your issues !

Just had my coil packs and spark plugs upgraded and very happy with the results. Definitely appreciated the updates of the work being done to my car throughout the day. Highly recommend Dr Mopars High Performance

OK, I had my car rebuilt here about a year ago. I was not extremely happy and left a bad review. But after a year I needed some info on the rebuild. Chris stepped up and provided the info and also told me he would provide me with a detailed build sheet. After all we went through together and he still stands behind his work, I have to say I am impressed with that. Giving the chance to make things right a year after getting paid and he comes through says a lot. Thanks Chris

Stay away from this guy. Ripped me off for 3400 dollars. Had my truck towed there for a complete engine rebuild. He quoted 2 months. He called me after about 3 months wanting the remaining balance said he was almost finished. So I paid in full. He tried giving me my Durango back after almost a year with a blown motor it was knocking bad. He tried blaming everything and everyone. Then he tells me another 700 to fix the damages he did. I said hell no so he put a lein on my title for 3500. After getting a lawyer he removed the fraudulent lein. I just towed my truck home and had to pay a machinist another 800 to fix all the broken parts from Chris. After getting my Durango home I found broken parts, missing almost every bolt, and a rats nest in my truck. I still don't have my truck running and he refuses to work with me. Do yourself a favor stay away from this hack job.

Dr mopar has been my go to guy for over 10 years!!! His help has been so valuable. He has taken the time to help me get all the rights parts to build my 73 charger. I can't say enough about Doc his self. Thank you Doc for all the services and help!!!

STAY AWAY! These guys are incompetent! Not only did the take 2+ weeks to attempt a 2 day job, they installed things backwards and incorrectly, and every time they screwed something up the insisted it was everyone else's fault! They say they have a garage to work in but they work in their front yard laying in mud with their tools and parts strewn everywhere! They broke everything they touched and made my vehicle unsafe to even drive! I had to bring it to another more reputable garage in order to have it fixed properly! They are not real mechanics! If you doubt anything I am saying just drive to their location and see for yourself how they operate. For your own safety and for your vehicle STAY AWAY and tell your friends and family to do the same! I would give 0 stars if that was an option! Unsafe, Unprofessional, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I've known Chris aka Dr. Mopar since I was around 17/18 and I'm 26 now. He worked on my very first car which was a 1969 Dodge Dart 4 Door slant 6 225.. I had unfortunately ran into some scummy and less than intelligent Jacklegs who damn near destroyed my car... Well thru a little searching just as the name implies Dr. Mopar did pretty much heart surgery to stop the bleeding that was my fuel system failing on me... He worked with me on pricing according to my budget which you don't see in real life. We ended up learning a lot from one another because he wasn't too star struck to show me what the underline issue was and what needed to be done. He orders nothing but the best parts and although he worked from home it still doesn't take away from the blood sweat & tears he puts into every job being that he's passionate about his work especially when closing off potential clients by working on Mopar exclusively... Unfortunately the Dart was too far gone with Chris doin all he could... When it comes to working with a small speciality shop you have to understand that just because you pull up then park doesn't mean you automatically skip to the front of the line and that's why you have to be patient which isn't my strong suit lol. To this day I wish I found him first, so I can definitely say it was a complete success.. I got tired of deal with the car, so I let her go a few months later. From that point on Chris and I would check up on one another like family friends even tho I gave up on Mopars for a bit he'd still lend me his expert opinion on automotives all together. After dealing with a few nonsensical vehicles I found one of my dream cars which Chris unknowingly added to my top 10 list. She's a 1973 Plymouth Fury III 318 v8 that's not perfect, but plenty of potential... The difference in then and now aside from age is that I'm wise enough to know if you don't take your Mopar to Dr. Mopar your ride is liable to die on the operating table from incapable hands and I plan on keeping my car for a very long time.

I had such a great experience with my charger being worked on, the owner is great with his knowledge and very respectable, and keeping in touch on when the parts be in, and when my car was gonna be completed. I would definitely recommend him

I entered into an agreement with Dr.Mopar's high performance shop in Burlington NC. to build a motor for me. Christopher Ketteman received $6442 to build a poly stroker using my engine.After over 2yrs of Mr. Ketteman having my motor, I decided not to have him perform the work and requested a refund! Mr Ketteman sent a notarized agreement to refund my money and when that was ignored by Mr. Ketteman I had to take him to court.I won a judgment against Mr Ketteman for $5948 from the Small Claims court in Alamance County NC docket # 18CVM1243. Now he has decided to let the judgment stay on his credit and not pay me what is owed.If you are thinking of letting him perform any work for you, refer back to this warning. I can furnish the actual court decision and his pathetic description of why he did not perform the work (that he submitted to the court as his answering statement) prior to the court proceeding.He was dishonest to me and I would never consider going to him even if I broke down in front of his shop, I would call AAA to tow me away before letting him touch anything I own

My vehicles starter went out unexpectedly and Dr. Mopar was able to order and install a new part very quickly. He was professional and curtious and even worked with me regarding payments as its a tough time for everyone. He and his crew are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Mopar. These guys are awesome.Just had a cold air intake installed on my charger.These guys where very polite and straight to the point.They made sure everything was nice and tight,clean, and working properly. Thanks guys,I'd recommended you guys for sure to anyone who needs engine work done.Thanks!!

Very honest and trustworthy boys not going to short cut on there work they take there time and do good work I trust him with my truck and nobody touches it that says enough I can fix about anything on my ram but the things that require more than me I take to him I know Chris and I can say he's very knowledgeable around Mopar vehicles if you want quality work at affordable prices go see him talk with him yourself go check prices yourself and ask hoe many mechanics can swap a 2009 challenger hemi into a 70 charger and it run right he can I went and seen the car wile he did it so somebody that calls him incompetent is full of lies and I'll put my name on the line on betting he's fully capable of about anything anybody needs done
