Personally I think this is the best shop in town. David is the nicest man I have ever met and he will help you out anyway he possibly can. He will give you the best deal and work with you plus he and his staff are always so happy, friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to going in there when I have to go and David will always have my business.

My fianc� and I were in town for a long weekend when our car started making some scraping noises when accelerating/braking. After unsuccessful stops are other locations in town, I went to David s shop at around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly, put in new rear rotors and calipers. He also let me know that our front rotors were close to going bad, and he replaced those as well. It took him and his team about two hours in all. I found David to be honest and transparent, and he and his team were very quick and friendly. I highly recommend!

Kind folks. Fixed my tire quickly and at a fantastic price. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to anyone needing auto services! My dad has been here a bunch, and recommended them. I can see why. Very impressed.

I'm not typically someone who even writes reviews, good or bad, so this is a testament alone to the level of service I received. Replaced my brakes for 1/4 the price quoted by my dealership, and did so very quickly. But the reason I'm coming back is Dave. Makes you feel like family right off the bat. The best and friendliest service I've received from any business, of any type, in my 5 years in North Carolina. And that's saying something. Awesome work, Dave. Steven is an absolute rockstar. My wife and I were experiencing engine/overheating problems at 5pm on Friday (worst time to experience a big car issue) - Steven stuck around for hours after the shop closed to make sure that my wife and I could get back on the road and make it to our destination hours away. These guys care about people, treat you well, and I m very appreciative!

Super friendly staff. They were busy when I rolled through with a leaky tire, but took great care of me when it was my turn. Cheap. And they helped me out with another mechanical issue I was having. True high quality family run business.

My wife and I were in town to do some hiking and biking when my check engine light started flashing; I called my mechanic back in KY and he said that s not good. Glad I found Pisgah Shell (David s) he was able take care of the problem (coil pack) the next morning and we were able to enjoy the rest of our weekend. Good people and reasonable price.

There is nothing negative to say about Dave's. They have treated my family well for many years, with many vehicles. Best prices around and they do amazing work. I won't go anywhere else.

Called in ahead of time they gave me a GREAT quote on coil pack change & inspection. Very friendly, professional, family like establishment! 5/5 would recommend to any local, college student, or tourist. David was my life-saver on our recent trip to Highlands. We encountered road debris and a flat tire passing through Brevard. It was raining and miserable. We found him on the internet and hobbled up to his shop. There were cars everywhere and I thought "no way". He came out and greeted us with a big smile and said he would fix us up right away. I couldn't believe our good luck. He had the car jacked up and the tire patched in no time. Our romantic weekend was salvaged and he and his staff will always be remembered for their kindness and professionalism.Service: Tires

The REAL deal!! My brother in law and his wife were visiting this weekend and had a BAD flat tire that could not be fixed. We drove Everywhere on Sunday looking for help. Last stop, by sheer chance, was David's. Sunday afternoon and he generally does not work then but happened to be there. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us!!!! Found a used tire to fit in order to get them home to GA and was one of THE friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. they dont make them like David anymore. He has ALL of my business.

Great place to buy tires or get a tire fixed and get your inspection done for your vehicle. David Stokely is a great man that treats you like family. I buy my tires from him.

Great place ! David and his staff are home town friendly and has always taken care of our vehicle needs. For the review that complained about not answering the phone ...... David is hands on rather than sitting behind a desk waiting on the phone to ring. Let it ring, they will answer. Great place !

Excellent service with an experienced owner who has over 40 plus years as an employee and family owned business. David Stokely is not only the owner but a previous employee of this business when his father Jack Stokely started the business in 1970 so if you need an oil change or brake job he and his staff can assist you with that and tire replacement,balancing,tire rotation or anything else your automobile may require. Dave Stokely is also a N.C.INSPECTION STATION and can repair most any of the required functioning items on a vehicle to make your car or truck meet the standards of the N.C.INSPECTION criteria.

They went above and beyond to help me and the wife get back home. Most places would have said sorry we're closing at 5:30 but they stayed untill almost 11 pm just so we would not be stranded. I have not seen that kind if service since we shut our shop down in Virginia. Thanks for all the help guys.

went in for an oil change, checked oil 3 days later, was BONE DRY 0 oil paid like $50 waited like 45 minutes in there. I'm sure it damaged my vehicle, running it dry when i thought it was full of oil.
