I never write reviews, but how abhorrent this service is, compelled me to warn others. This is the worst service in town. The wait times are very long, they forgot to place the cap back on our vehicle, and I watched them neglect to put oil in a vehicle and then the engine stopped working just down the road. I would recommend Valvoline in Mills River. They completed my service in under 15 minutes and I am confident in the end result. Well worth the drive.

Update 10/5/21: Best service in town. Trustworthy, fast, kind, hard workers. A plesant and seemless experience from start to finish! Most bad reviews are years old - ignore those. They did a complete turn around. They did my NC inspection in about 10 minutes for under $10.______Great service! Fast, kind, affordable. I would recommend based off my oil change experience

I got my oil changed here and after I left I noticed the car was leaking oil. Took it to the dealership and they told me that they put on the wrong filter AND didn t even tighten it. Also multiple employees were fighting while my car got serviced. Would not recommend. I m not someone who usually leaves negative reviews but this was pretty bad.

They were great, as always! I've been using the local Jiffy Lube for years, and they consistently do an excellent job. Today, they were thorough, fast, and they answered a lot of questions I had. I plan to continue going back to my local Jiffy Lube as long as they keep doing great work.

Got my breaks changed and the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and kind! I would highly recommend jiffy lube for all your oil and break needs!

Super fast and friendly service! Popped in just to see if they had any availability to perform a synthetic oil change. They had me in and out of there in no time. Changed the oil and filter, checked and topped off the fluids, set the air pressure in the tires, and even vacuumed the floorboards! Thanks for the great service!

Tom, Brittany, and Larry have been so helpful and professional - from getting an inspection to installing new headlights to oil changes, they have busted their butts to get it done. Would give 20 stars if I could.

I cannot recommend this shop and staff enough. My friend and I were visiting the area from out of state when her car began to act up on a Saturday afternoon, and we were scheduled to drive home to Florida on Monday morning. Not being local we were unsure of where to go, but when I called Jiffy Lube Tom answered and told us to come on in and he d see what he could do. When I tell you that this man went above and beyond to make sure that our vehicle was safe and fixed so that we could not only continue with our vacation but also pick my daughter up from camp and continue on to our hometown, I realllly mean it. I live in a very nice area with very nice people, and no mechanic that I know besides my own dad would have done what Tom did for us, AND it was his day off AND it was his birthday. Tom, you truly are a good man and if we are ever in the area again we will stop in to shake your hand!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Our alternator went out during a trip to Brevard in June. They were the only shop who had availability, so we had it towed to their shop. They fixed it for a fair price the next day! Friendly and helpful, real people work here. Highly recommended, even from us out of town folks!

I wanted to let the folks at the Jiffy Lube on Asheville Hwy. in Brevard know how much I appreciated their kindness yesterday. I was driving home from the vets office with my pup when my car began making a thumping sound. I slowed down and it stopped, but over 35 mph, thumping began again. I pulled into the Jiffy Lube, figuring I was in for a big bill. Ugh. Well, the opposite happened. They made my pup and me comfortable in their waiting room while they checked all my tires, brakes and underneath my car. Finding nothing wrong, they sent me on my way, telling me that everything should be fine, and to come back if the sound returned. The mechanic would not accept payment, which has made me a new customer. I shall return to them for my automotive needs. That just shows great business practices, and really good folks. Service was good. However, the synthetic oil change with a new air and oil filter cost me $100.00 and that was after 15% off. The Honda dealership only charges $59.00. I have never paid $100 to have my car serviced. Sadly, they have lost my business.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Wait time was roughly 45 minutes, but when you are the only Jiffy Lube around that will happen.The customer service was excellent and they were fully staffed.This location isn t as modern or as clean looking as most, but don t let that deter you. Everything was great!

Great service when employees show up. Tried 3 times to get a state inspection and finally got one at a competitor. They folks I have worked with are incredible but the new folks are just not showing up. Driving 30 minutes 1 way to not get service is frustrating.

They could not accommodate my need to have air conditioning checked because the machine was being used. That's understandable, but I could not make an appointment. First come first served. Not a good business practice. I got an appointment at another place.

The staff could not have been more helpful. I came in bc the oil pressure warning kept coming on. Instead of just automatically changing the oil they saw that oil levels were fine and I had plenty of miles left before a needed oil change. They topped off all fluids at no charge and even helped figure out an idling issue I have - all for no charge;. Thanks y'all!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I ve never had a bad time with these guys! Very professional and quick. I usually bring my Rottweiler in with me and they are always very welcoming. Wife s car/My truck. They do it all! They were a bit rude. I called in advance and no reservations taken, but they didn't say they were closed for an hour at lunch. I had to wait until they got off their lunch break and then they sequenced another car in front of me.No apologies, just we will get to it.Waiting room was a mess, no wifi.I have been to many Jiffy Lines and this one was the worst by far.Find someplace else.

Great place. May have saved our engine. We were leaking oil after an oil change in Charleston a week ago. Came in. The owner gave us personal attention. Changed the oil and filter. Showed us what was wrong from the previous job and cleaned off the leaked oil. Gave us peace of mind before a 5 hour drive. Can definitely trust this place.

Awesome as always, took my car to someone else twice and didn't fix the problem went to jiffy lube and told Tom what the car was doing and showed him a pic I took of the warning lights that came on and he ran a couple tests and told me the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it that day my sensors in the rear wheels went bad. Great work great prices, they have worked on my car 5 times so far and each time they have found and fixed the problems fast and prices were great. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I recommend jiffy lube to anyone, problem big or small they will fix it. Today is August 10 2022, took my nitro to jiffy lube to get the air conditioner fixed, awesome job as always. My air is so cold now, amazing. I brought my car to Jiffy Lube for new tires and an oil change. They were done rather quickly, a little too quickly. I left their shop to go do some errands and my car started shaking violently. I didn't even make it a mile down the road and one of my wheels came off and I hit a car head on. They were supposed to pay for the damages, but what I got was a big FU. I am currently looking into filing a lawsuit.Services: Tires, Oil change

We dive a few hours away and came in town to visit relatives. While leaving a Halloween festival we got a huge nail in our tire which was slowly letting out air . Due to a lot of businesses being closed we thought we would have to stay until Monday seen jiffy lube that said they were open.they were not but they helped us anyways! Not only that but they refused to charge us! I just can t explain how much gratitude we have for y all !!! Bless y all!!!Service: Tires

Great experience here! Louis was attentive, helpful, and explained things to me. At other Jiffy Lubes they would do things without talking with me first, which I did not appreciate, but at this one we talked about exactly what I needed, and after it was all done we went over what they did. Much appreciated! Plus, there were other cars in line in front and behind me, but they kept work flowing and got things done efficiently.

These guys always take such great care of my car when I'm there. They go above and beyond an oil change (or whatever service you get). I went for a transmission fluid changed and they noticed a serious engine mounting problem and had it fixed for me that same afternoon for a very good price. Definitely a repeat customer and I won't go anywhere else!

I had my third annual inspection here today, and I drove from Mills River specifically because these guys have treated me so well in the past, I trust them, and had read horrible reviews about shops in Hendo county. It was well worth the drive! Not only are all the men so kind and helpful, they told me I did not even need an oil change that I planned to have today. Talk about integrity! I always have a great experience here, and will continue to patronize them no matter where I live.

WARNING about fraud at the Brevard Jiffy Lube. I went in for an oil change today, and when I saw one of the workers disposing of a filthy air filter, it crossed my mind to ask if they serviced the filters of the interior heating system, as the previous owners of my van had dogs and the heat stinks when I turn it on. The manager told me they did and that they could change the filter. I left for 20 minutes to run some errands, and when I returned to pay my bill, I was charged for the oil change and the air filter. I asked to see the air filter they'd removed, and it turns out they hadn't changed any air filter at all, so they had just CHARGED ME FOR WORK THEY HADN"T DONE. This is straight up theft. Once discovered, they quickly ordered an air filter from a nearby parts store, as they didn't have my size in stock. It also turns out that the air filter they replaced had nothing to do with the heating system. It was the air intake for the engine, and when they pulled my old one, it was barely dirty and I doubt it needed replacement.The manager claimed that the worker who was supposed to install it was waiting for the part, but I think this is a story to cover their tracks once I found out they hadn't done the work they charged me for. And even if that had been the case, they are responsible for not charging any customer until all work is completed. Had I not asked to see the old filter, I'd have driven off and never known the difference. Maybe they saw a woman from out of town and figured they could cheat her easily. I recommend taking your business to a more honest shop, and if it truly was some miscommunication on their part, at least a more organized and functional shop.
