Alray Tire Center in Boone is the greatest! We bought the best all-terrain tires ever from Judd and Gray. Perfect for winter mountain driving. And such nice men to deal with! Their store lobby and bathroom are very clean and we didn't have to wait long for installation. Thank you! Amy Griffith

Really appreciate my new tires. The waiting room was so neat and clean. The service was right on schedule. Had an DMV inspection done at same time which saved me a lot of time

For someone who doesn t know much about cars and can feel overwhelmed when my car is acting up, Alray is the perfect place for me to go.The gentlemen here explain things simply and are so kind I would not only trust my 2008 Subaru with them, but also my life (too much?).I know when they say I need something fixed, it s truly something I need and not an up charge. I highly recommend.PLUS, they have the best honey in the area for sale by the jar in their waiting room.

Alray Tire is the absolute best!!! I had an oil leak & they squeezed me in on the same day even though they were super busy. They were fast & the price was great. The people here are fantastic! I can t say enough good things! I ll definitely be coming here for all my car needs. Thanks again!! I appreciate y all more than you know!

I was thoroughly impressed with the entire crew at Alray s. From initial call and scheduling to completion of the required work, all staff worked together to deliver exceptional service. My daughter is away at college and this place took great care with her and her vehicle. I spent 30 years in the automotive industry and I know an honest shop when I see one. They could have easily replaced parts for road noise but were honest and it was the tires. It is so hard to find a quality shop that does honest work anymore, trust me. This place offers both. Thank you.

They do not want to correct their mistakes. They say there's nothing they can do when they make a mistake and then they call their customers a liar. From my experience they are Thieves. do not trust them. If you had a better experience then I did good for you. But they took my money and won't fix their mistake that's all there is to it. There's better shops with honest people around town that are trustworthy. If you value quality work this is not the place to go.

They were able to squeeze me in today to fix a front wheel bearing problem for me. I was lucky that they had a cancellation and were able to help out. They were all very nice and helpful. They didn t upcharge like a lot of places do with me being a female and not knowing much about cars, and they actually charged me less than the quoted price since the labor didn t take as long as they had originally planned. I m very thankful they were able to help me out today since I have to work 45 minutes away the next few days and needed my car back the same day! I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back with any other problems with my 4Runner!

Needed to have some wiring done from my motorhome to my towed vehicle. After spending some time with e-tralier finding the correct parts to accomplish what I wanted, I ask if they could assist with locating someone to install them for me. Alray Tire in Boone was on the list of recommend installers. I called and spoke with one of the co-owners "Judd". Judd patiently listened to what I wanted and ask me to send a list of the parts I wanted to install. He reviewed the parts called me back and suggested one other part. Not only did he install all of the parts and make sure everything worked correctly he followed up the following day to make sure everything was working properly. Also, I want to mention that he helped find a n issue with another electrical component in our towed vehicle. And yes he did this for what we thought was a very reasonable price. Now, my wife and I can drive with confidence that we are doing it safely.

I had my shifter cable mess up and Alarm got me in quick and efficiently when no one could get me in for over a week. In a previous review someone made a joke that they would trust Alray with their life. Well, I did have a small hiccup in the parking lot where I hit my head and all of the guys were quick to help get me cleaned up and make sure I was okay. Solid place all the way around, and I can say I trust them with both my car and my life? Big thanks!

I have been dealing with Jimmy, Judd, and Gray for the last 4 years, since moving to the High Country. These folks are professional, and do a wonderful job in taking care of almost all of your vehicle maintenance needs. Their rates are reasonable, and they only do the service(s) that your vehicle is in need of. Great company with which to do business.

Some of the nicest folks around. And one of the only places I found that didn't require an appointment just for a state inspection. Had me in and out in 15 minutes on a busy morning. Can't go wrong with Alray.

What just about everyone is saying about cost is true it is cost effective, considering, and I m glad they were able to help on such short notice. My concern with the gentlemen that work here is their timeliness.My car wouldn t start and AAA told me to take it to this location once it got jumped, saying the starter needed to be replaced. I told this to Gray, who said it would take a week to get to since they were so busy (understandable). 10 days after I dropped it off, they called and said that it really was a dead battery like I suspected and I would be able to pick up my car an hour after they hung up. I arrive at the shop almost two hours later and they haven t touched the car other than to pull it into the garage. One gentleman said they would get to it ASAP, and it ended up getting changed out about 30-40 minutes after I arrived. I missed an important meeting and a job opportunity waiting to get my car from Alray.I guess the TL;DR of this is find somewhere else to fix your car if you aren t pressed for time.

I'm driving a 2013 RAM 1500. I won't bore you with the details, but I've taken it to the Dealer and 3 other repair shops between Boone & Elizabethton who charged me for needless work. Judd patiently listened to "my story" and presented a clear solution at a price that was extremely reasonable. Save yourself time and money...go to Alray...good people there!!

Everyone I know uses Alray. Friends, Family, and even a friend who works at a dealership. Stopped in today and was reminded why they are so awesome. Easy, friendly, and honest as can be. Thanks Jimmy, Thanks Judd.

Best car/tire and customer service I have ever experienced. I'm from out of state and these guys are just a new level of wonderful that I'm not used to! Had a flat tire that needed to be patched and on a Friday afternoon, spare of the moment, they had it fixed for an extremely affordable price promptly. Thank you times a million!

EXCELLENT service, great prices, and always willing to work with you. This is now my go to place to service my car, I was so impressed with the quality of service and work. Never took a long time and always charges fairly, and willing to work me in when I was in a bind! I 100% recommend to anyone in the high country area!

This place is awesome!!! All of the staff are wonderful and super helpful. I had a dented rim and they didn t try to sell me a new one they just got the job done for me. Definitely recommend going here!

We had an issue with our car while heading home from a family vacation. Jim squeezed us in and fixed it in a jiffy at a very reasonable price. I really like this shop. I wish I lived in Boone so I could bring all my cars here. Thanks!
