Bought some windshield wipers and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I didn't even have to ask, Robert just said "come on and I'll install this on your car for you." What a gentleman! Thank you!

Excellent service! Our car broke down on vacation. It was freezing out but a young man came out immediately, determined it was our battery and immediately installed a new one. We were in and out quick.

Friendly people that have what you need. Very helpful. Ordering online and picking up in store same day was easy breezy. Saved some money here, and beyond that they charged my battery for free and helped me out with an alternator on the spot. Awesome. Very thankful for you guys' help that night. I'd have been up a creek with no paddle had I not been able to rely on these guys.

Ryan and Duane were first class. Had problems with headlights, wipers, and gaskets. They got all the parts we needed, talked about concerns we had about the car, and helped install some parts too, which they didn't need to do. They went above and beyond our customer service expectations!

We needed a oil cap for the car so checked with Advance auto in Boone North Carolina own the way they had it out when we stopped to get the oil cap the other one was old and the oil seal had melted around the top of where you put in oil the employee was very helpful and nice and got the old seal off quickly we didn't have to ask he volunteered to help us very clean store organized and very nice employees if you have a question about your car stop by or call I'm sure they will help you if they can

Prompt friendly service. Offered to put the new bulbs in for me. Also took the time to show me how to do it myself when I told him I liked knowing how things work. Gave me advice and answered my questions. I thought this was going to be such a hassle, Tommy really made this quick, easy and informative on a day where I really needed things to be quick and easy. Thanks!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Boone from Asheville when the power steering in our 08 Toyota Yaris went out soon after the whole car shut down and after a jump we were able to drive it with no electric function to this Advance auto location where we lucked out and met advance auto team member Evan. While performing a diagnostic check of my battery and alternator Evan noticed a faulty connection and wire coming from the alternator and realized that was the issue. Evan spent the next few minutes repairing the connection with a new connect clamp and cleaning the melted wires off which worked like a charm and quickly brought my alternator back up to the normal charging voltage and was able to get me home 2 hours away! Thanks to Evan for being a kind and helpful person and thanks to advance auto!

The manager was extremely rude for no reason, told me that "we are not mechanics" when all I asked for was a simple diagnostic test on my engine (maintenance light had come on). Generally I have had great experiences at Advance Auto stores but Boone is an exception. Do not give them your business or waste your time!

Decent place to get parts but WATCH OUT FOR LIFETIME WARRANTY! Keep your receipt. The sales rep will ring items up with your phone number and tell you that if you have a problem they can look you're purchase back up easily anytime and honor the lifetime warranty. This is a lie purchase records are deleted after a while and then they can't look up your purchase and will not warranty the part without a receipt!

I got rude service, and a bad experience, AT A DIFFERENT store, lol, across town. I politely said thank you and walked out, and took my business to this Advance Auto Parts. They were great. The gentleman that helped me is Gary Harris. He took time to listen to me. Hooked their diagnostic machine up to my car to help tell us why my check engine light was on. So now I know what to order. From this store! So this store will have $120 order in the next couple of days from me. And also, after Gary helped me with that situation, I bought enough stuff to do a complete oil and filter change, replace a few burned-out bulbs, and some other things. Anyway, I ended up walking out of there spending $80. Heck of a lot better than the other store. Oh well, Their loss. Thanks Gary

I went to the advance next to Burger King and they were very helpful I enjoyed speaking with them and they gave me all of the parts I needed and even made sure I had the coupons I needed were all very helpful and would very recommend to go to the store highly professional and a great store very clean and such.

I recently had my knee replaced and on my first attempt at driving since the operation 2 weeks ago, I found that my tire was going flat. I was across the street at the Rehab Center and drove across the street to the Advance Store to purchase a can of Fix-A-Flat. Got to the register and told the clerk that I needed some help getting the air in the tire since I couldn't kneel because of the operation.He said he would take care of it even though he wasn't really supposed to. Completed the sale and went outside to wait on him while he was installing a battery in a customer's car. He finished, pushed the battery cart back inside without looking up, turned around and came back to me and flatly told me he couldn't help and sent me on my way, limping out of the store lot on an almost flat tire. If this is how the store treats its customers with a special need, it speaks volumes about their work ethic. I'm a long time Boone resident and I will be taking my future business elsewhere. Who needs this kind of treatment?

I have to say I had a totally fantastic visit the other day when I came in with car problems. Tommy helped me and he was a complete and total gentleman. I can t say enough for the way I was treated and I highly recommend this place.

I went to several Advance Auto Parts store in different locations. Of all three locations, there was only one person that was able to give me any legitimate answers and help to my questions, this was Tommy! If you have any problems or trouble with your vehicle please go to the auto zone near Burger King in Boone and ask for Tommy. Anything that he did not know the answer to, he was able to call another location and find out for me quickly. He even went out of his way to help me try to change a headlight on my 2001 Audi TT. Not only was he extremely helpful during all of my visits, he was very kind and we actually know each other on a first name basis now. Thank for you all your help Tommy!

As for sales, customer service and replacements under warranty these folks get 5 stars... As for the Carquest radiators 432019,.. They only last 2 months!!
