We were traveling through moving to Wyoming and ended up having car troubles. From when we walked in to all the help we received while we were there they all made an amazing experience for us! We are very appreciative and grateful for being taken care of being strangers to the area!

My husband and I are new to Black Mountain and are thrilled to have a local auto shop we can count on. I took my car in for new breaks, and he took his truck for a problem with 4WD that multiple dealership mechanics couldn't figure out before, and it was fixed in a day. BM Automotive has genuine employees and fast and reliable service. They will continue to be our go-to shop!

Iam pretty sure that I just paid 100 dollars to get my radiator flushed and they didn't do anything except take the hundred bucks I can't tell any difference. It's still doing the same thing. Still looks the same. I'm just $100 broker so that'll be my last trip to Black mountain automotive. That'll be the last dollar they get from me. Absolutely ridiculous that they don't do no better job than that and it's a shame. I've been there several times and never had an issue. Joe my advice. Save yourself some money. Go somewhere else or do it yourself it's really sad that no one wants to do anything except get over on some one elts thay would rather lose bisness than do a good job I hope that thay realize I have 400,000,00 people that read my reviews and 25000 have seen this one already good job hope 100$ was worth it iam so disappointed

Brenda has always taken care of me!! Black Mountain Automotive is the only shop we use. As a female I feel comfortable with them working on my cars and no they aren't going to take advantage of me. Honest people, great service and prices!!

I went in for a state inspection. They very nice and quick. While waiting I saw them help out a Spanish speaking customer. They were patient and really striving to give good service to everyone. Businesses like this are important to have in our community.

I can't say enough great things about this shop. Fast, efficient, caring and very well priced! 10/10 they truly go above and beyond to make sure car is safe and reliable. They got me in fast and replaced my air compressor, charged my AC and did my oil change all within a day. Caleb and Barbara are the best! I truly thank you all and will definitely be back with any car needs I have!

The people there are real good people, and they give good service. They hung in there with me. When I was trying to get my truck inspected? And it kept fell in and I would do something to it. And it would feel again then I do something to it and it would fail again. They didn't get mad at me or anything. They just hung in there with me. I got it fixed and I got the inspection. Everything's was good. The girl at the front desk is absolutely beautiful I mean beautiful. Where the ear car needs to work on or not, she's worth going by there.

Barbara rocks. Shes honest, efficient, takes care of everyone and really cares. Always feel taken care of when I bring my car here and never overcharged. Thanks Caleb and gang, you all kill it but really Barbara is the best.

I thought my car needed ball bearings replaced. Barbara at the front desk was very helpful, patient, and professional. It turned out that I only needed a new tire and wheel alignment. Their pricing was reasonable and they did a great job in a timely manner, and honest estimates. Highly recommend this place.

I had the AC compressor replaced in my car for the second time. First time was done by another shop and took 1 week and 2500 dollars. This time I expected the worst but the repair work only took 1 day (less, really) and was less than half what I paid before. The work was done correctly too which is the most important thing when getting your car repaired. I will use them again.

I was in Black Mountain for a short time. I ran over a bolt with a nut on it in a parking lot. I could hear a thumping sound a low speeds. I knew something was stuck in one of my tires. I was panicking because I was leaving for FL in 2 days. It was Friday and all the tire centers were closed on Saturday. I googled local tire centers. This one had great reviews. They were so nice and took care of me right away. They problem was found and repaired quickly and for a very reasonable charge, too. I'll be back to Black Mountain Automotive in the future when I have any auto problems!Service: Tires

I will use this Auto Shop for all of my auto needs... Honesty, integrity, excellent and knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices are rare to find but thankfully I found them at Black Mountain Auto. The customer service is super amiable. All of the work I've had done on my Dodge minivan has been above board. They are very upfront about labor costs. I highly recommend them for maintenance and repair on your vehicles. They won't sell you anything you don't need, the transparency is very nice.

I had an issue with my tire sensor that I didn't have prior to going there, they fixed it free and without any issues, absolutely wonderful people and best prices in town.

Great service and communication. Very fair pricing and have always called to have additional work approved. More than accommodating with my schedule as car repairs are rarely ever planned for. Highly recommend for anything from brakes and oil changes to more severe repairs. Thank you for your services and great communication!

Seriously impressed! My husbands truck completely broke down pulling out of our driveway this morning. The gears stopped working. I called BMA, told them what happened, and he said he could look at it the same day. Which was amazing because I did NOT want to go all weekend without a car, also not even knowing how much it was going to be to have it fixed. He set up a wrecker service to come get it for me. The wrecker was here within 30 minutes. Within 2 hours he called to tell me it was the smallest of problems and it was ready to be picked up! I had him actually fix a window issue while it was already there. They had the part on hand, and it was ready a couple hours later. Ashley who runs the front is so kind and efficient. It is VERY hard to find trustworthy spots in the automotive industry. Very. I feel blessed to have utilized their services for the first time today! Please don t hesitate to do the same.Thanks!Amy

I had brought my Lexus in to have the motor fixed that controls the hatchback opening and closing and it turns out that they found a switch that was simply off in the glove compartment so did not charge me for the motor repair and then while they were there I had forgotten to mention to them I had smelled some antifreeze and they told me about it and found it needed a water pump and they very economically put that in for me. Very ethical good quality work. Highly recommended

The mechanic on schedule took care of my Son's car. I needed a piece added to my Son's car's battery....it took 8 minutes. Exactly - 8 minutes to get the car fixed. I would sincerely recommend this facility to anyone who wants professional and very PROMPT service. AND the ladies? And the Ladies at the front counter were friendly and engaging. Again would recommend this automotive repair shop to anyone. TWO thumbs up!

I had a slow leak on one of my tires and went in to get a patch repair mid afternoon. It was a busy day. I think I waited maybe 30 minutes and when they finished they told me I did not owe anything. They did the job for free! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again! I will be back for my next oil change. : )

Great service. Good staff and prices are reasonable. I'm glad I found them. They have done new tires, brake job, and other maintenance for me. My husband was a mechanic but is no longer able to work on cars. We are thankful to have Black Mountain Automotive.

I have been going here for years. I originally found them online because their tires were well priced. I now get all of my tires, oil changes, and brake work there. They are never pushy with sales and treat you right. I highly recommend!

Friendly but seriously inexperienced. Don t go here to buy tires or have them balanced! Three times to balance new tires they installed and get on the interstate at 70mph bouncing significantly! They claimed that is just the way all terrain tires perform....so not true! Today the manager/owner refused to do anything to address it because he already balanced them for free several times and he makes no money on tires....so tough luck! He also claimed he had a great attorney, if we chose to sue him! We went down the street to WNC Tires where they bought our tires from to see what they could do. They went to balance them and showed us how the tires were wrongly balanced by being over weighted to bring it to zero! Cost us $40 to resolve that I plan on billing Black Mountain Automotive and possibly meeting their attorney. Save yourself the aggravation and go directly to WNC Tires! I wouldn t trust Black Mountain Automotive with any work on my vehicle.....lack of integrity! I ve noticed they usually trash any bad reviews and discount them so we ll see how they choose to be big enough to admit a mistake and apologize with $40. Barbara Halprin

I can't say enough good things about Caleb and his staff. Thorough, honest, well versed on every aspect of your car are just the beginning (and I drive a hybrid Prius with over 300k that I have owned for 14 years). The staff are all friendly and do a superb job of explaining and of their own time management as well. A solid place to take your vehicle in every way.

Sad. I have been going here for years and this time will be the last. I had a belt and tensioner replaced here. Less than 200 miles later, it is squeaking again. I call and make an 8:30am appointment to drop off my car. I drop my car off the day before so it could be seen bright and early. 6 hours later, and the car is still not touched. I call to check on it and am told thar some tow ins came in. I have the foggiest on how that should impact my scheduled repair. A few hour later I call back and am told that it is one of the mechanics last day and they are "getting the heavy lifting out of the way". Again, not sure why you have people schedule repairs if that goes out of the window. Note, both instances I had to be the one to call them. Nobody bothered to contact me to let me know I may need to find another way to get around this week.Service: General repairs & maintenance
