My first time at VJs. The people there were friendly, did quality work in the time they promised and for the amount they quoted. Don't know what else you can ask for. Their positive reputation is well earned!

These guys are awesome. They're incredibly honest and always do a great job. If you take your vehicle here for service, you will get everything you've ever wanted in a mechanic. I'm truly blessed to have found this spot and without hesitation, I would refer anyone to this shop.

Vjs auto and the staff are absolutely amazing! Tracy really helped me A LOT getting my car taken car of and held my hand through a stressful process and went above and beyond any customer service I ve ever received. These people are always kind to me even though we come from different backgrounds. I m not from the South, have no accent, and I look like an avant-garde hipster with piercings all over my face and dyed hair. Even so, if they do judge me, they keep it to themselves and do quality work that gets done in a reasonable amount of time.

I ve been in Asheville for almost 11 years and have been going to VJs for vehicle needs for most of them. Never a disappointment. From inspections, to car batteries, oil changes and deeper work, VJs is a TRUSTED establishment for me.

Highly recommend! I have now had the occasion to take two of my vehicles in after having gotten quotes from other places that were sky High and evidently on repairs that were not actually needed.VJs is honest and trustworthy. Their work is amazing and their prices are as well! I have definitely found my go-to mechanic! I just picked up a car today for much less money than I expected, and they did tell me about another repair that I needed and quoted me a price much less than the last place who told me about the same repair. The price is so different that I know the other place was overselling and about to do things the car didn't really need. I appreciate not being taken advantage of! If you are looking for an auto service go to VJ's and nowhere else.

Went to VJ's to get the annual North Carolina vehicle inspection and they had me in and out within 10 minutes. Friendly and professional staff on site.

VJ's is a family owned business...I have never dealt with a more likeable person than the lady at the front desk...honest reasonably priced and do work that will last...I know it seems that I know these people personally but it's just the way treat everybody...just a good business that's run by good people

Very Friendly staff, honest, drop your car off with an issue they will call you to let you know the price before fixing it to make sure its in your budget and they give exact quotes if you know what you will need like a heater core replacement.

They are a true family business! After using them on a regular basis for my old Subaru, I got a new car and was not by for a long time. Years later, I came back and the service is as great as ever. I really enjoy going there!

Very rude phone person been costumer for years Ricky should get rid of her I'm getting on her f...ing nerves for asking for tow I been waiting on since Monday you should have said we behind not your next on list very poor communication skills and service I'm sure that was not his daughter who usta take calls good way to lose money and customers I referred alot folks there smh beyond disappointing

Visit has been taking care of my vehicles for a number of years now. The staff are super nice and friendly. The identify the problem, then give you a call and discuss the issue and the best way to fix it. They give you the cost estimate and stand behind it. They don't over charge. They do exceptional work and do not do a job half way.

They're real honest. I've been taking my car to them for years and when something doesn't need replacing or fixing, they say things like, "did you HEAR something 'cause your brakes are fine" or "you know your timing belt is a chain. You probably won't even have to change that."

Go here! They are a family-owned business that offers quick reliable service at fair prices. Leave your car there and take an hour long walk on the beautiful River Arts Greenway, enjoy a coffee at Summit Coffee Co, or explore the art galleries nearby while you leave your vehicle in the hands of trusted professionals. I tried these folks out for the first time by taking them a car to get inspected. They answered and were polite over the phone, sweet even. When I got there, they politely communicated where to park, etc. VJ's performed the inspection quickly. I spoke to the shop boss about getting some more work done. He was polite, friendly, and the price he gave me was honest.You wouldn't think this should be a high bar for a business to meet, but it is apparently from my expeprience. Good on VJ's for at least leading me to believe they'd like my business. I look forward to giving them some more work and seeing how they do.

Love them! They're mine and my husband's family mechanic, and family friends, and they've never let us down. They're very honest, sweet and it's over all wonderful service! We don't go anywhere else! Definitely recommend to anybody!! :)

These are the folks I'll always be using for auto repairs. They are friendly, efficient, and very fair in their pricing.Their business looks active and I know why.... It's they way do all of the above. This is obviously a well run family business. It's worth the visit just to interact with Tracy up front. Very pleasant and obviously knows something about auto repair and service. She is a master at juggling multiple calls and customers while maintaining an efficient and pleasant attitude.

Awesome people and work. After being told by Firestone that they couldn't fix my wheel bearing VJ's fixed it in 2 hours for 1/2 the price Firestone quoted. I was on vacation and feeling stuck but these guys treated us like family and got us home.

This wonderful family owned business can repair almost anything on a car and if they can t they will tell yo up front. They are honest and have reasonable rates. I am old and can honestly say I have never known a better auto repair shop EVER. I highly recommend them.M.
