The fellas here are so incredibly kind. They are more than happy to explain why things need to be done (or not). Their pricing is reasonable and they are transparent about it. They do not pursue any task without your consent and there are no hidden fees. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else if I can help it. Truly grateful for John and his team. I trust them implicitly.

This is my 3rd or 4th time to Precision Tune and this was no small matter.I called yesterday for an emergency repair on my 2014 Ford Escape to see if they could somehow fit me in today. Manager John was able to accommodate me, even though they are generally always busy, and fit me in.I had a bad Thursday and couldn't drive any kind of signicant distance due to not wanting to Crack the head.This is Not like the old days when you remove 2bolts and drop in, this I was Very extensive!The company in whole, did NOT disappointed Again! They test drive my vehicle a good distance to ensure there were no issues before letting me retrieve it.The customer service and professional mechanics they are have will always be remembered by me and I will use them on any or All of my automotive needs!!!Excellent all around Shop!Thanks John and Thank You Technicians!

We're traveling across the state. Our tire sensor light came on. My child found a screw in the tire when we were stopped at a rest stop about 30 minutes away from Asheville. I called around and found this PT. We got there about 20 minutes before they were to close. The parking lot was packed but they immediately took us in and patched the tire in like 5 minutes and didn't hardly charge anything. Very nice people!

They were mad after I didn't accept their estimate. When they put the tires back on, they over torqued the wheel lug nuts. The next day I coudn't get the wheel off even with a large professional cross lug wrench. I hope I don't ever blow a tired because there is no way I can get the lug nuts off.Update: I added a four feet iron pipe to the lug wrench - still can't turn the lug nut.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Auto brake replacement

Don't trust their brake quotes. They give everyone a low quote on brakes without taking into the account the vehicle. The folks at Precision Tune in Biltmore are awesome! They are courteous, friendly and they keep you updated on progress or issues with the car. In my experience they have always been honest while holding costs in check. They fixed my brakes fast and spotted a belt which was frayed.When I dropped my car off I had no way to get home so they gave me a ride home so I could sleep (I work third shift as a nurse) so I was tired when I dropped my car off. A few days after they fixed my brakes I ran over a nail and found myself without a way home so I stopped by and asked for a patch. They patched it for free and got me home again! That's great service and reliable repair.Also they were very polite and professional. This is a great place to bring your car.

I m disappointed by my experience with Precision Tune Auto Care. I called earlier in the week and asked if they took appointments for A/C repair. They said they do, so I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. I rearranged my schedule so I could drop my car off first thing Friday, and I indicated on the drop-off form that I would be back at 4 pm to pick it up. I arrived at 4:15 pm, and they hadn t even taken a look at my car. They asked me to wait an additional hour, but they weren t even sure what what wrong with it, so it wouldn t have necessarily been repaired during that time.I understand that they got busy, but what is the point of taking appointments if you can t fulfill them? Even a phone call to let me know they were backed up would have been fine.Service: A/C installation & repair

We got good service changing the oil of our truck and decided to give this business and opportunity to diagnose and repair a grinding noise in our vehicle. They provided a wrong diagnosis and that cost us $450+ with the repair cost. They repaired the wrong part and now that I think about it, we shouldn't have payed for their mistake. They were polite enough to look at our truck back at no cost, however the fixing of the new possible problem came back 4 times the initial repair estimate that we had already paid for.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Car waxing, Oil change

Took 3 days just to look at my car, even though I called ahead to ask how busy they were. $100 fee just to look at my car. Charged me another $100 to tighten some bolts Never actually found the problem with my car, but because it was running when they finally looked at it they didn t find anything. Asked for a detailed itemized list and only saw $234.09 for service / parts labor

First time here for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff is friendly and efficient. Made an 8:00 appt right when they opened hoping I could get checked in and still make it to work on time. I was so pleased to see the open sign was on when I pulled in at 7:50. Yay!Very happy with the service and they also sent an email after the service summarizing everything about my vehicle (value , due dates for next oil change, inspection and registration) which is great.I would highly recommend!

Great group of guys they have working there. Professional and on time. Not butchered fast work. I always go to Precision and recommend my friends. This location especially is exceptional. Even allowed me to bring my dog in (we were traveling) because it was hot outside. Everything went good until the constant smell of oil. Stopped 15 miles from there and oil cap wasn t put back on engine. Oil was spewing out and getting on windshield. Thought common sense would be for them to put that on but guess I was wrong. That s what happens when someone doesn t pay attention what there doing! Everything else was good. Just $300 of service and more problems from that cap being off.Carl Perkins made this right. That s how good businesses do things. I have always had great experiences with them. I have used several auto care folks over the years and I have found Precision to be fairly priced, quick, and have quality repairs. On top of that, they are really kind and go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. Highly recommended.

I ve always had great service at Precision Tune for over 20 years, and with my latest repair they truly went above and beyond anything I ve ever received from any car repair shop.This time I brought my car in when my check engine light went on. As sometimes happens with the check engine light , pinpointing the problem can be tricky. In my case, a different problem code came up each time they attempted a repair or replaced a part. This happened four times, and they never charged me a penny, even though they spent a lot of time with my car and had to order parts for it. When they finally got a clear diagnosis that my catalytic converter had to replaced, they charged me $700 less than the dealer wanted for the same job. Throughout this entire process they gave me loaner cars when I needed to leave my car for many hours, answered all of my questions, and doggedly pursued a variety of solutions until they came up with the one that worked. I truly feel that they bent over backward to do everything they could to assist me.I ve had virtually all of my car repair/service done at Precision Tune since I moved to Asheville in 1996. I ve had four cars in that time and each car has been well taken care of by them. Many times they have done small services for me for free. I ve never had a breakdown because they have always kept my cars running well, and I ve always been treated courteously. I m happy to recommend them to anyone.

I called Wednesday the 16th to have my truck AC system worked on I needed a expansion valve installed which I have all Motorcraft parts spoke to John and he said to evacuate the system and install the expansion valve and recharge the system would be 159.99 + tax. I accepted his quote and he told me to be there Friday morning at 10 AM I got there and checked in he gave me an invoice for over $220 I told him what he quoted me on Wednesday and he denied it and got very hostel and yelled at me. Yes yelled at the customer. This is not only incredibly bad customer service it s a very deceived practice. Just think what they do to your vehicle when your not watching. I left and said I will never be back. I went to another shop that had a cancellation and got it done for a total of 155.61. There is nothing they can say or do to change my mind and going back to that placeService: A/C installation & repair

Got an oil change and all my fluids checked, my tires checked. I walked to have lunch and the amount of time that it took which was less than an hour my car was completely ready for 1/2 a bill which included tip! super guy too

Scheduled brake and wheel bearing work on my Subaru, after a fair estimate Carl was able to turn around the repair within four hours. I've been trained by other small shops to wait days for parts and turnaround. Same day service, for this I would have ranked them with four stars since they're not the cheapest (you get what you pay for). However, after picking up the car the next morning it was apparent that something wasn't perfect, took the car back in and they fixed it no questions asked, and never second guessed my concerns about their work. My car is now quiet once again and I was even further impressed with the follow up call I just received from Carl making sure everything was in good working order with the repair. Top notch experience, highly recommended.

These people are horrible. They had my car for an entire 2 days, and never did the work that I called and set up for them to do. You would have better luck flushing your money down the toilet and hoping your car would miraculously fix itself than to pay these incompetent people to work on your vehicle. Don't take them your vehicle.

I want to thank Precision tune, I have a 2002 Jeep it is good shape but I was taking two trips one to Ct and one to Florida to take care of aging family in total about 3500 miles. I brought the car in and asked Precision tune to check everything they could so I would be safe and sound on the trip. They did a lot of checking and my car and I had no issues with my car on the whole trip. ThanksWe have two Jeeps and they have taken care of them for the past 6 years. I thank them.They have done a great job for us.

Car was having trouble starting. Though they couldn't find the problem because it wasn't messing up for them they were polite and didn't charge me for checking.

I cannot say enough about John. I was in Asheville NC for a vacation with my wife and disaster broke when both of my rear sway bars went kaput. After explaining to John to include that I was leaving town the next day in the morning; John thought about it and said leave your keys, did not promise he would get it in and inspect immediately but he said "is 8Am now I will try to take a look at it at 10Am". I understood his shop was full of cars waiting for service. Around 9:30 he called me "it's your sway bars, one is broken the other is about to go, the bushing is bad". I ask can it be done today, " sure thing he said I get on it". 10:30 car is ready come when ever you are ready!" WHAT?! He told me that he felt sorry we were out of town and he placed us a head of the line. The price? Let's just say I found it very reasonable. Thank you job well done. We made it back home no issues.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I brought my 2014 Camry there a week ago for an oil change and tire rotation (with 1 tire visibly low in air pressure) -not only did they up-sell me on oil, not fill my tire only to have it go flat the next day, but they tried to really scare me into getting new brakes for my car when a second opinion at a family friend's shop in Brevard told me I had used only about 40% of my brakes and there was nothing to worry about. I understand mechanics can often be pushy or stretch the truth-but they handed me a list costing $900 of unnecessary work and left me feeling anxious about my brakes going out at any second after I walked away...oh--AND with a flat tire the next day. Absolutely do not recommend.

I showed up about 15 minutes before they opened with a flat tire during a huge rain storm and they were gracious enough to pull my car in and bend my wheel back to working condition. They got me back on the road and back to work within in 35 minutes. I was very surprised with all that they did for me and wanted to convey my gratitude for their help. If you are on the fence about these guys then let me be the one to tell you to go for it! I couldn't be happier with the service I received from these guys and will recommend them to anyone and everyone from here on out! Thanks guys!!!
