All in all I am satisfied with the completed work. My complaints are not reflective of the management or employee's but the cost of repairs. I know everything is pricey nowadays and I know AC repairs aren't cheap. I'm just glad to have my AC working, and it was very cold on the ride home!! My other complaint was being able to schedule an appointment and then finding out they were understaffed and backed up so I had to arrange a ride to let them finish repairs without waiting and then go back. But, I totally understand that, it should have been a call or email though ahead of time so I didn't waste a trip if I couldn't have stayed letting me know what was going on.Thanks Mark for your service. I will use Meineke again if needed.

These guys are great. I needed some suspension work to pass a vehicle inspection on an older Subaru.The front desk guys were easy to talk to and were transparent and helpful with walking me through the repairs I needed.The repairs were finished ahead of schedule in time for me to pick up my car and head to work the next day. I m a week out from the repairs and my old Subaru purrs like a Rolls-Royce and drives like a dream. I ll be going back to them for future maintenance work.

The guys at this place are awesome and amazing!! They are very generous, understanding, helpful, thoughtful, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, better people, better outcome overall!! Plus, my car drives so much better, so so smooth! I can't tell ya the last time my car drove so well!! These guys are TOP NOTCH!! I highly recommend this shop!! I will definitely be coming back in the future!!

The customer service and efficiency here are phenomenal. We were visiting from out of town when our car died at 8pm from a dead alternator. We were planning on going back home the next day. I called Meineke as soon as they opened the next morning and asked if they could get my car in that day. The car was towed to them by 9:30 and by 1pm they had diagnosed and replaced the alternator and fixed another issue for us. Chris was extremely helpful, communicated promptly, and provided excellent customer service. We couldn't be happier with their service. Thank you so much for helping us out!

This shop is great. Mark, Chris, and Piers we're helpful and welcoming through the whole a experience but Mark was really the star of the show. I currently have a breathalyser/interlock system in my car and he worked with me through the whole process to make sure my car was fixed and safe. He explained everything in detail. He even stayed open late so I could have my car for work in the morning. Wonderful service.

I made an appt to bring my vehicle in for service to check the engine light. The service team advised it was the oxygen sensor and needed to be replaced. Staff was friendly, but could also be read as opportunistic. I was charged for a "diagnostic test" for $149.00 and they added tax on a service which came to $160.00. (May be wrong here but I think that you don't tax on service, just products)The estimate was that the Oxygen sensor needed to be replaced, and since I was there, agreed to have the work done and signed for it. Shop supplies of $30.00, Remove/replace Oxygen sensor, $153.93, and labor of $75.00 another $244.96, totaling $437.88.Then, they said my Valve Cover Gaskets and Crank Seal was leaking and it would need to be seen right away for an additional $1031.59, as an 'estimate only'.This was surprising to me since I had taken the car to the local dealership a few months earlier and regularly have the oil changed in it.Their "Diagnostics Report" ($145.00- no tax) made no mention of the leaking Valve Cover or Crank Seal. They also included a complete engine "report" that covered all diagnostics that their test covered. It included steering, cooling system, CV joints, shocks, fuel systems, filters, drive axle, starter, safety items, brakes, transmission, fluids and other novelty items like horn, latch plates and safety belts wear.When I was ready to leave, I noticed a part sticking up from the closed hood and had to bring it back to have them get the parts they left in the hood tray crimped between the hood and front quarter panel.Meineke supplied no report or any tangible documentation to support this Valve Cover and Crank Seal diagnostic, only that's what they determined it needed.I have since taken the car for another opinion and the second mechanic looked at everything and has found no oil leaks of any kind and showed me to make sure I understood. They additionally felt I may have been overcharged for the service I did have done while I was there.Although I am happy the work was done and able to be done the same day, I probably won't go back. What Meineke is probably good for, exhaust leaks and muffler work, as is their labeled specialty work. Stay in your lane!

Fairview Road in Asheville North Carolina locationI made an appointment for an inspection. Showed up on time. I told them I had a broken tail light and wanted them to check that first and fix it if possible. After 20 minutes They had not taken my truck back, and I asked what the holdup was, and they very annoyed by my question. Said their guy was doing an oil change but there were other employees doing nothing. they did not take my truck back until 31 minutes after the appointment time. After a bit more time, I went to check in the bay to check in, but they were just sitting there.They informed me that they completed an inspection and failed it Because of the tail light (without Checking about repairing the tail light First).They forced me to pay for The inspection before giving my keys.

The desk staff are great, especially Mark. He s always friendly and helpful in diagnosing issues or pointing out problems that could lead to damage in a vehicle. The issue I have is the work that s done. Simple things like oil change or brakes are no problem, but at one point they replaced my starter and alternator. Not sure where they ordered these, but both failed within a month of being installed. After having them replaced again for free, I d been called for them to tell me that someone left a socket wrench or some other tool under my hood in the engine compartment. I never found it, so either they misplaced it and worried it was in my car, or it had fallen out of my car on the road. Either way, that could have destroyed my car if it were true and fell into a belt or onto the battery. Perhaps it would be advisable to create better storage methods and checks to ensure your tools are where they should be.

I m sorry. They were pleasant enough at Meieke, but wanted almost $377 for a 3 year battery for my Honda element. I went to Sam s and got the same battery installed for $149 with free installation and the same warranty. Meineke also charged to check my old battery, which I have never seen done. I do not recommend them. I m sorry.

Brakes - pads rotors and flush of brake line and new brake fluid. It cost more than expected but assume Meineke has standard charges and just another experience of inflation! I trust the crew to do what they say. They got me in the day I called. Got me a cup of coffee too! Am so glad I have new brakes.

The guys went out of their way to fit us in as we experienced problems while on the road from out of state. We even got a call the next day checking that we had made it safely to our destination. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely experience. Got me in same day and finished within an hour. They even waited for me when I got stuck in traffic after they closed. I had an emergency problem rather late in the day and brought in. They thought it was the alternator and it was going to be expensive. But they discovered that it was just a belt!! They could have ripped me off but didn t . I appreciate thier honesty. Had it ready to go first thing the next day. I will go for all my car needs

The dreaded check engine light came on. Headed for the local Meineke shop in Oakley. From diagnosis of the need for a new Vacuum Purge Solenoid to installation of the part took only a little over an hour, the cost was very reasonable and the customer service was EXCELLENT. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants the job done efficiently and well!

I've started using Meineke this past year or so and always get courteous service and my vehicle is ready pretty much as promised. They listen to your needs and write up an estimate before you ever get started.

I had major issues with my vehicle as I was traveling Out-of-state and they were able to get me right in and fix my issues. They did an awesome job. Everyone was polite Professional and Honest As well as great customer service. I would certainly recommend this Business location if you have minor basic or major issues with your vehicle. they have top-notch mechanics there that know what they're doing.Service: Auto brake replacement

I had my truck towed in Fri. afternoon and was told I had a 1pm appt. on Sat. to look at my truck. Amazingly, my truck was fixed by opening time on Sat., 8am. After paying for the repair, I walked out to my truck and found the door unlocked. I wondered if it had been unlocked all night. (I had some valuable items left in my truck). Anyway, based on the repairs, I give 5 stars and my thanks to Meineke.

Excellent atmosphere with very knowledgeable mechanics. They had to take the complete dashboard apart to replace a part for my a/c and take off one rear axle to replace the seal, that's way out of my league and I greatly appreciate it. All is perfect!!

Although difficult to consider any car repair experience "great", the guys at this location were on top of it. Called in morning, made after lunch appt. for same day, dropped of vehicle and waited (as we didn't know what was wrong) and guys went over the entire system very professionally. Cost was cheaper & quicker than expected. A+

The staff at Meineke were so helpful and responsive! It was a busy Saturday, but I was encouraged to bring me vehicle in just so they could at least give me answers about my situation; not only did they provide answers, they saved me an incredible amount of money and were so genuinely helpful and kind, I will only be taking my car to this Meineke for future repairs or services.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Battery

Took my car to Advanced Auto, 801 Fairview Rd, Asheville, NC to purchase a new battery ($250) for a 2019 VW. I was told by the AA employee that it could be the alternator instead of the battery and he suggested going next door to Meineke for an evaluation. Red Flag. For $461 Meineke determined that the alternator was fine and only the battery needed to be replaced. I was charged $89 to remove and replace a battery, plus another $159 for labor on top of a $69 diagnostic test for a $223 battery. Also they charge 3% to pay with a credit card and did not tell me. I almost feel like this was a scheme between these two companies. Non-the-less it was a major rip off.

These folks are lovely! I brought in an older car that s hard to find someone to work on. These guys were happy to have at it and they fixed it for a reasonable price.
