I went to this place back in December and was charged $50 for 2 used tires. They dropped my car off the jack. I had to remind them to balance the tires. Today I went in and got the same tires only this time I didn t ask how much. After the work was done ( first putting the wrong tire on one). I was charged $120. That s not good business. Again I had to ask for my tires to be balanced again. And now I have the wrong lugnut.

These guys are great!! They set me up with a used tire to replace the one that was shot. Mounted, and balanced, AND swapped the wheel back out for the spare that was on the truck. They even did the courtesy of hanging the spare back under the truck for no extra charge. Very friendly service all around, from the owner and office woman to the kind fellows in the garage. Will definitely check with them when it's time for a new set of rubber on the old tacoma. This place is a bit unorthodox and definitely old school, but don't let the mountain of tires scare you when you pull in!

Absolutely terrible service & they endanger people's lives. Only put on 3 out of 5 lug nuts and sent me on my way. The wheel was wobbling, would not fix it when I turned around and came back. Told me someone else did it. Then NONE of the lug nuts would come off due to being over torqued. Also denied any responsibility & scratched the wheel when trying to drill out the studs. Took 3 DAYS to fix it, and still made me pay for their error. Owner was very rude. And the technician that was working on my car got arrested the day I came to pick up my car. Never go to this tire shop!

These people need to be shut down I went in to get two tires on my Volkswagen and they lifted it up with their Jerry rigged lift and bent my exhaust into my driveshaft and now it s gonna be 1500 dollars to repair and now they are avoiding me which they got the right one cause I ll make sure they don t ruin anybody else s car

ABSOLUTELY SCAM ARTIST. TOLD US $20 A TIRE TO CHANGE WHEN I CALLED AND EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND HAD. I SENT MY GIRLFRIEND AND THEY CHARGED HER $192 TO CHANGE 4 TIRES THAT WE BROUGHT IN. THERES NO SHOP IN THE COUNTRY THAT CHARGES ANYTHING REMOTELY CLOSE TO THAT. HAVE CHANGED TIRES ON OUR 4 CARS PLENTY OF TIMES. RUDE WHEN TALKIING , AND SHOP IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING UNORGANIZED DUMP. 200$ TO CHAGE 4 TIRES AT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.

Jw is a very nasty man put the wrong ties on my car don't take your car there took it back still not the right ones never will go back there 160.00 for 4 ties two ties in front still flat smh shame jw ties

This place should be shut down. They sold us old, rotting tires that were the wrong size. Would not refund us once we made them take their unusable tires off. Threatened my bf. This place is a public safety hazard. Imagine people going here, getting 20 year old tires and endangering their lives driving their own cars home.

I m a young woman traveling through the state by myself and with my luck had a screw in my tire. They got me in and out right away and patched it up no problem! I didn t have cash on me but they were able to take a card and charged me hardly nothing. Super nice people, quick, convenient, and fair pricing. If I ever need tire repairs in the area I ll be sure to come here!

I forgot his name ,but very helpful gentleman, found my used tire in a mountain of rubber. He spoke to me about being a cancer survivor ,and I was very happy that he didn't accept was happening. Amazing attitude. Our emotional state creates our reality.

All the bad reviews are here for a reason. Do not use this shop.J&W tire is by far worst tire shop I ve ever been to. If I could give them no stars I would. Scratched my after market wheels, when I politely asked why the damage happened I was told by the owner that the damage to my like new wheels would buff out and a little paint will fix it back up . After that he left for the day and wouldn t answer his phone. The owner knows and acknowledged they messed up the wheels, but refused to compensate for the damage.#1streview

I've used them time & time again for several different service needs ... And I have always received the upmost respect decency an frindly service, there selection an quality of their tires am services they offer come at great prices you just can not beat or find elsewhere with all you receive here! They are highly recommended an suggested for all your tire rotor balancing an brakeing needs! Ive used them every time since I found them an will always go back there...it's like family servicing family LOCE THESE FELLOWS

Overpriced used tires, then charges more for balancing. Chewed my wheels to hell. Then spray painted their mess up with flat black paint on my gloss black wheels and then denied it!!! Wish I would've read the reviews first. Save your car, your time, and your money and don't go here!

They rushed me in which seemed like a good thing at first but then installed two used tires that were worse condition than the ones I was wanting to replace. I didn't realize how bad they actually were until I hit highway speed and it felt like my front end was going to fall apart. It was pretty heartbreaking to spend a $120 and be in worse shape than when you arrived.

If an easy to pull in and out of, pretty place is what you desire this is not it. If quick service without an appointment at good prices by guys who know tires is all you need then this is a GREAT place. Quick, cheap, and fast tire repairs are my main reason for being their customer for over 10 years.

I have went to this place for years. Any tire issue I needed on all my vehicles I came to J&W because they seemed like good hard working folks and offered fair pricing. I will not be returning ever again and would highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere. The past two visits to them I have purchased used tires. Both occasions I left the shop and not even a couple hours later there was something wrong with my tire. Cuts along the inside trim of the tire and leaking air. They obviously are looking for a quick sale and get you out the door with tires that haven t even been inspected for imperfections. Also, when they changed my tires they put two different size lugs on.

Terrible staff especially the older white man that appears to just be there to take up space as he just stares at you. Shut the door without even checking with me even though I had been wait for 40 minutes. The staff damaged my car with the thing that raises it to change the tire due to them being too lazy to direct me and just sent me to do it myself. You d be better off risking breaking down until your next check than go here. I promise you, nothing here is exaggerated. Go anywhere BUT here.

Purchased tires here and paid for alignment. Over $900. 25 miles later I limped into a service station with my steering wheel shaking out of control and the car acting like it was going to fly off the road. Turns out these guys literally just stuck the tires on the car with no balancing, and their alignment service will worsen your alignment (I have a 2 year old car and ever since I left this tire shop my alignment has been worse). In the end, I had to spend almost $300 to fix their errors. Not to mention that the manager (owner's son) is emotionally and mentally unstable and very unpleasant. I don't see how anyone has ever been here and had a good service, but if I were you I would stick with the majority negative reviews and stay away.

Absolutely the worst and most inadequate experience I ve ever had. Was charged $80 to mount and balance tires that I provided - when I was told on the phone $40. When I said something about it, I was cussed at by a guy who smelled like beer and looked homeless. Was charged $40 for an alignment that they simply didn t do, there was no paper or receipt. I took it to another shop who showed my camber and toe measurements to be way out of spec. When I picked up the car it was low on gas and my serpentine belt had developed a squeak. I m guessing they decided to take my sports car for a joy ride. Do not take any car here for any reason.

Bent 3 of my rims. Sold me bowed tires. Now to will cost me 1,700+ to get repaired and fixed.

I don t even know where to begin with this run down, unprofessional, ill-mannered place of business. I ll start by prefacing that this is the first review I ve ever left on a place of business, as usually I am unbothered by lack of professionalism and particularly prioritize supporting small business and run down shops, as they are cheaper; but this shop is an absolute TRAINWRECK. I couldn t park my vehicle anywhere near the shop and had to walk to it. When I arrived, a customer (friend of the mechanic) greeted me and said that it would be 45 minutes before they could get to me, which in return I said was fine. I leave the keys in the car, and approach the mechanic simply trying to tell him to take his time and he interrupted me beginning to curse that he will get to the mother****** when he gets to it . Which immediately spoke volumes about the type of person he is. In short, do not take your vehicle here unless you have NO other option.

Staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. My uncle who is currentlly battling cancer went here to have his tires replaced. He was cursed out by an employee, who from my understanding was the owners son. My uncle simply walked in seeking service and the man started yelling obscenities at him. My uncle was not only humiliated by the situation but also very shaken. Please do not give these people your business. They shouldn't be able to treat people this way and stay in business.

I called before having my vehicle towed there to make sure they had a used tire and was told they did. When we got there I was told they only had a new one but offered me a "great price on it". After insisting that I didn't want it, they magically found a used on in moments. Get better at grifting people if that's your game..

I have been to J& W many times and they always treated me with respect and did me right. I even asked after they repaired my vehicle if there might be anyone there who could drive my car to come pick me up and they did exactly that. I appreciate the work and the recommendations they gave me each time I went in if they seen something that needed attention. I am planning to call them for estimate on fixing my vehicle again as my radiator needs repair. I would recommend them definitely.

I'm not sure what some people have experienced here, but my experience was wonderful. I pulled out of my driveway one day and ran over a rock, popping my tire. After calling around to several different shops in the waynesville area, nobody had used tires in my size. I knew I couldn't drive on a donut forever, so I called J & W. The man on the phone told me they had my size and they could help me immediately. It was a little bit of a drive, and you need to be extra careful on their driveway- I got in immediately. It was no more than 10 minutes from when I arrived to when I got in my car and left. $30 for two used tires. Awesome. I will be back with my other car.

Horrible place. I went to get 2 new used tires. they changed the tires and i left. I didn't drive far because it felt weird. I stopped in a parking lot and checked them. One was the wrong size and nearly bald!! and that one was on the drivers side too!! the other was slightly less bald and the correct size. I came home and a then also found out it was flat. I spoke with a former co worker about used tire shops and told him what happened. he also says he would not recommend this. he went to get tires there and they gave him bald tires. he was pulled over and given a ticket for bald tires that same day. Also my brother doesn't like this place because they put the wheels on wrong. I would not recommend this place at all. They will cheat you. now i have to get tires again. I decided at that time that it was not worth returning because they would probably cheat me again.

Worst experience ever. Took my truck there for a tie rod end replacement and alignment. They called me telling me my serpentine belt had broken. 90.00 extra. I had just bought a new one less than a month old and paid 32.00 at advance auto. I told them that they said it was 50.00 for the belt and 40.00 for the labor. Now I know it only takes myself 5 min to put it on. So 40.00 for 5 min of labor. Anyways long story short I asked them if they wanted to test drive my truck after I installed the new belt myself in their parking lot, they said they had already test drove it without the belt on it, meaning no breaks, no power steering, no alternator, no water pump, because they all run off the serpentine belt. So they felt like it was safe to drive a huge 1992 f350 dually on New Leicester Hwy. With no breaks, or powersteering. Now my power steering pump is broke, truck pulls to the right and the tire squeels. If I could i would rate their shop a negative 10. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK TO THIS SHOP!!!!!!!!
