Davy was extremely helpful and took the time to get me the parts and tools I needed. He also helped install my girlfriends Bosch wiper blades. I highly recommend asking for him by name if you need help!

Left work yesterday and I lost all brakes in my car. I stopped here to look and see what was wrong. I had a caliper bust. They let me use their entire tool cart, they had all the parts I needed, and were very friendly. They went out of the way so I felt I should leave a review. Didn't catch the guys name I was talking to but he was a tall African American guy. He was awesome. Go buy from these guys they do a great job!!!

The battery in my Jeep died suddenly. After calling AAA and the dealership who didn't have the right one in stock, not only did the guys at Advance confirm that they did, but they got it installed for less than the other quotes! I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Thanks Tom and Kelvis for your great customer service and speedy response!

I don't leave reviews very often, but the customer service and knowledge that Billy presents is top notch and deserves due credit. I have had a few not so stellar engagements at this store, as with any (people have their bad days, no biggie). However, anytime I saw that Billy was working, I knew I had a guy on the other side of that counter who was willing to help and was in it for the customers. The dude really cares. And it shows.

Ive been here a few times and last week might be my last time I give money to this place. I walked in and there weren't any employees at the counter or in the main customer area. I saw 3 guys working in the back so after a few min I tried to get their attention. The response was one of the guys yelled to me that the person working the counter was outside with a customer and I needed to wait. 6 min later an older male customer who was also ready to check out looked at me waiting and said "isn't there anyone working here?" I told him that I'd been told to wait but that he could holler to the back also to get their attention. As soon as he made his voice loud one of the 3 guys immediately came to check him out! The customer was gracious and told them I'd been waiting longer. note- I'm a young female

Thank you soo much for your customer service! I had a headlight burn out and Billy was able to help me out. Even though they were super busy he came out and made sure I knew how to install them myself.Thanks for having such awesome staff at this location! I will definitely come back to this store due to the level of customer service.

This place is great! The staff are all very helpful and friendly and do not try to upsell. Very fast service and they do seem to care about the customer.

I had to get a new battery installed after 5 years and Darryl was very nice and installed my battery for me! (this is why I gave them an extra star, was only going to give 1 star ). Cut to two weeks after my new battery was installed - I tried to start my car and my battery was dead. I called AAA and they did a diagnostic on my car and determined the battery was dead (alternator/starter in good shape). I was at ease because I knew my battery was still under the two year warranty! When I brought my car in, I spoke with Ken, the GM. He wanted me to jump through hoops to get a replacement battery under warranty. He also was not understanding or accommodating. You always want to help your customers and hear your customer's out. Not the case with Ken. He will talk you ear off about how great he is. I decided not to go back to this specific Advanced Auto Parts which was a great choice! I went to the one in Weaverville and the gentlemen who helped me, was so nice and was able to test my battery and get my replacement battery installed within 20 min! I am leaving this review in hopes that this specific location will take the time to HEAR their customer and do whatever it takes to make them happy within reason. The Customer Is Always Right!

They got the A-Team at Advance Auto Parts today. I worked with Tim, Lee, and Wilbur. All very knowledgeable and kind. My battery died, which they charged while I was there, and they didn't try to pressure me into any unnecessary purchases. They gladly explained everything and answered all the questions I had. I will definitely be returning.

Went in one day, got ignored as they allowed other people to come up to the register and be helped who walked in after me, while I'm standing there waiting. Decided to leave due to their rudeness. Came back the next day and got literally no help even when finally being helped. I wish they'd hire more people that knew more about cars instead of just typing makes and models into a computer and going with it.

This is the worst parts store in Asheville I own a automotive service every time we go there it is ridiculously bad customer service they say they have parts when they really don't and today we went in to buy battery they said they have drove all the way across town to get there and then tell me they cannot take credit cards today worst part store in town.

I stopped by expecting to buy a new battery. Lee checked my battery and said he though it had more life to it. Cleaned the battery terminals and got me going. This was three days ago and no more dead battery! Lee was polite and so very helpful He should be a treasured employee

This is my favorite place to buy auto parts. It is conveniently located on Merrimon Avenue at the corner of Coleman and Merrimon Ave and offers a good selection of Auto Parts across many makes and models and years and almost always has the part that I need in stock, and if they don't they are able to order it and have it there within usually the day or the next day. The store is clean, the employees are very friendly and helpful, and the discounts you can get through their speed perks Rewards program and the coupons program they have online makes it worth your time over other competing auto parts stores.

The entire staff was very unhelpful, uneducated about what I was asking about, and even a little rude. There where 5 employees in the store, two where not wearing the mask and the other three all didn t have their masks over their nose. Overall a bad and unhelpful experience, plus unsafe because of the lack of mask wearing. I would recommend the Advance Auto on Fairview Road instead.

Being someone who knows little to nothing about cars, these guys have always been so helpful - but also kind, never talking down to the "little lady" as I am sure many women have experienced at other shops, mechanics, life... ;) Pricing seems fair and they've always took time to research parts, walk out to my car, explain everything, and make sure that I knew to contact them if I needed anything else.

I am young and don t know much about cars so I went here for help. They were condescending and unhelpful. Completely disregarded my ask for help and watched me try and figure out what was wrong and did not even try and helpGo to autozone

Employees don't wear masks unless they're at the cash register so if any of them are asymptomatic then you're gonna' get COVID because that big air handler blows right at the check out. Won't be back to this location because I prefer to spend my money at Patriotic American businesses instead of with Commie Sympathizers spreading their Commie Virus, killing us by the hundreds of thousands, sickening us by the millions and keeping our economy in the toilet all because they feel inconvenienced by having to wear a 2-ounce mask for a shift. These Communists should be forced to work in a COVID ward to see just what this Communist enemy we're fighting is capable of.

I m a young woman who s decided to change her own breakpads. I d seen it done once before and watched multiple YouTube videos on the subject. Not a handy person. The guys were incredibly helpful and one even got on the GROUND and showed me where to jack my car. They saved me from making some mistakes, and never laughed at me or made me feel inadequate in any way. Will return when I figure this out and go to change my oil and filter :)
