Would absolutely have given 5 stars if communication was better. I get that being busy in the shop makes it tough, but a response to my inquiries every few months would have been helpful. Bought a bottom end from these guys, a stage 3 K24 standard compression build. The initial conversation and assistance in deciding on the correct build strategy was amazing. I was in Arizona when I bought it, and the initial help sealed my business with them. When I bought my engine, it was right at the start of covid lockdowns, so I don't blame them at all for the delays in getting it done, overall took about 9 months I think. The engine has now been in the vehicle for almost a year and a half, and it runs perfectly. Very happy with the finished product, and I would definitely buy another motor from them.

Do not, I repeat, don't do business with this guy or his shop. Listen to the reviews that people are posting. I could write a book on the experience I have with this business. I ordered a turbo kit a while back. It went over a year, building what they said they would prove only to get what I didn't ask for. The turbo kit finally arrived with the wrong turbo; the exhaust manifold did not fit correctly. Needless to say, there was a lot of rework work that had to be done and more money that I had to spend to get it done right. Communication is often the worst; he doesn't respond to emails or phone calls. This man only cares about himself. This man claims to be religious, but don't be fooled. He will be judged.

great friendly people,but communication is horrible. ordered a motor from him after he said it would only take 8 weeks ended up taking 12 months. yes there was a back order on some parts but he never specified what parts or what was going on personally to me. while i was there picking up the motor i asked for a spec sheet,didn t get it,have sent multiple emails asking for a spec sheet, haven t received one or a responding email. again very nice people but i wouldn t go back for anything else from them. motor runs great though!

Ordered Turbo kit and parts and never received anything. After 6 months I went to the bank and submitted a claim with Receipts and pictures of text messages with The owner.(showing how he stopped responding to texts and emails) Finally got all my money back. Wouldn t recommend buying anything online. Was upset because the product he has imaged looks awesome.

It took about 10 weeks as quoted for my manifold to come in , but it was well worth the wait ! The fab work is high quality ... Thank you!

I ordered turbo charge pipe from this company for over 6 months now, it was supposed to take 4weeks and am still waiting. I messaged him to let him know, I just wanted a refund back. because I sent the car to fabricate instead. Now he stop answering my messages and calls! Am currently talking to a lawyer to see what we can do about this. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER!

Stay away from this company by all means. I ordered a turbo exhaust manifold for a k24 twin scroll with 60mm wastegate in November 2020 and left a deposit, and still have gotten my refund or the manifold up until this day (11/30/2022). They don't answer emails or calls. I will have my lawyer move forward with this.

For a small shop marquis does a good job with communication. Received products within reasonable time. Fast to get back with text! Overall good experience! Very nice guy! And knowledgeable.

0 stars, bought a 800hp crate k24 crate motor from Kmod 3 years ago.When I received the motor the timing was completely off and the cams were on the WRONG sides (how do you mess up something so simple?) I'll answer that Marquis doesn't know anything about building engines. I knew after that that I could never boost the motor and it as going to have a very limited lifespan, just how limited I was absolutely shocked.I had to have another (competent shop) rebuild the engine for me but it could do nothing to postpone the inevitable, I never even got to put 17,000 miles on the motor and it's completely blown.Great job marquis! Pure scam artist, please if you care about your money or your car at all do NOT take it or buy anything from KMOD, look at all the other reviews IT WILL NOT END WELL.When I bought the engine Marquis had nothing but good reviews but it looks like people have finally started expressing how bad KMOD actually is. I have had nothing but problems ever since I wasted my money at this shop.He will deny any fault being his despite another shop calling his work garbage to him on the phone, he is a lying scam artist. He should be in jail for what he has done to people. Read away.

Had no issues with this company! It took a couple days for them to get the parts in stock and I expressed the urgency with my order and marquis expedited the shipping without even mentioning it! Parts came from North Carolina to Alberta within 2 business days. I would definitely recommend!

Had some trouble with a refund but Marquis is able to help me out in the long run. Just make sure to communicate with him if you have trouble with anything. Overall a good company and a good guy. He ll make your request his number one priority.

Parts came pretty fast a little bit of issues it something being out of stock but marquis took care of it quickly and got my package on track. I see a lot of bad reviews but I had a good transaction with marquis he was polite and answered quickly. Couldn t be happier with my exhaust thanks Kmod. This ain t a bs post either

NEWEST UPDATE!!! I apologize for the review prior to this update.My brother informed me that it was another company that never followed through and that this order just came a bit later than expected. He originally had no comunication but i remember on my original review, this business did respond through the last post that certain parts were out of stock from their supplier due to covid and restictions.Leaving a 5 star review.For anyone who would like to give this comapny a chance, my brother said this was an affordable option however the wait time was longer than his other expereinces ordering online. Possibly due to covid!

This company is a joke that will rip off any customer that they can. Throughout the car community they have continued to destroy people's cars, overcharge, and practice slimy business tactics. They are beyond what I would consider to be a horrible "shop," if you can even call it that. I hope someone lawyers up and sues them for everything so they have to shut down and lose everything. These people don't deserve to own a shop dealing with the car community.

Scammer! Beware! I ordered an up pipe kit from him. It arrived late, from Arizona (he does zero fabwork its all farmed out). The kit was supposed to be 2 pipes. An out the hood down pipe and out the hood dump tube. One pipe arrived, the out the hood down pipe, missing the tear drop end. No dumptube. When I questioned him, he gave me a run around until I filed a claim through my credit card company. After providing all my proof, texts, pictures and everything. This slimeball and his credit card company were able bully my credit card company into charging me for this lack luster product.Additionally, the stainless up pipe is completely sugared on the inside with zero evidence of purging the weld.1 star is too generous.

Ordered a turbo kit for my fg2 civic one year ago today. Still haven t received one single part. This guy is a liar, a thief and a fraud. I m pursuing legal action currently in an attempt to recover my lost $3000.

My experience of being a really good customer at KMOD Performance I am not happy at all. I am a humble nice guy I just want everyone to know the truth about this place, basically held my car ransom and wouldn't give my car back, car went back down to kmod because after less then 50 miles of having my car back it blew up found loose bolts in the engine bay one of which was the oil chain tensioner(they left loose perfectly strait bolt) they had the car apart for "custom cams" and had my car for well over a year when it was suppose to be 4 weeks I live in Michigan there in North Carolina I had to pay shipping to and from. They didn't make it right I had to buy my own engine and all parts they then gave me a discounted rate on parts and wanted to do a contract were they pay for labor upgrades on my car which they did not end up holding to there side and then sent me my car back after complaining to get it back many times and now the transmission has problems right when I got it not to mention all the paint they messed up on my car and wrenches left in the engine bay! Do not trust Kmod Performance!

Paid over $9000 for a motor...waited over 4 months with no communication on KMODS part and every time I called to ask for an update there was an issue..I even sent him an extra payment because he said he needed it financially...so I canceled the order all together and now I'm fighting for my money back....

Marquise is a great guy. I ordered around $1000 worth of parts from kmod and they all arrived in a timely manner. Items included internals, a K20 block, oil pan, kmod oil pump kit (in immaculate condition) and some other things. Marquise is always willing to answer my questions and help me with my build even if it doesn t directly relate to items I purchased from him. If you love kseries then marquise and yourself have this in common. I plan to use kmod in the future to build an rsx 6speed.

Ordered an intercooler and went through 3 different company's, took 4 months to get here. Will not recommend or shop here again. Heard lots of storys I should of listened to them

Had a customer bring me a car with work done from KMOD, parts were cut off and not replaced (nor were they given back or told of parts removed), oil lines ran that were rated for oil, started leaking oil while driving shortly after receiving the car from KMOD after driving from NC to NY and blew the motor from lack of oil. KMOD wouldn't warranty the failure and started offering turbo kits with oil rated lines, apparently. Plenty of other acquaintances also bought engines, turbo kits, and tuning services from here all to fail, had to personally fix at least 5 "tunes" that came out of this shop too. I'm not sure how anyone is getting referred to this place after all these years. They shouldn't be in the business of building motors, tuning them, or touching anyone else's vehicles, at all. Please google this business and see for yourself all the forum posts about the goings on of this place, and buyer beware. After they have taken your money, destroyed your car, and you start complaining, they will scream GOD IS WATCHING and block you and everyone you tell on social media. Fortunately, that just keeps THEM from seeing the truth, while the rest of us continue sharing our experiences without their interruptions.

They taked 2700$ from me and no updates for my order sens 6/2020 and I asked them for the refund but they ignoring .... I tried to emai them like a new customer and they directly answered!!!???!!! ... Don't make any business with them.

Unfortunately having to post something on this so called business. Have tried and tried and given him numerous opportunities to resolve the issue and refund the purchase. Nothing about dealing with this guy is easy. My partner purchased genuine honda oil pump modified to suit a K24. The workmanship is extremely sub standard. Have a look a the photos and judge for yourself. I'm going to post it for sale on ebay. Perhaps Marquis can buy it back seeing he can find no fault with it. The bolt holes are where the chain tensioner is meant to bolt to. Massively over hacked. And this is sold as a performance part for motorsport. Sending stuff from the USA to Australia and thinking we're too far away to be bothered with him. Well it is a matter of principle now. Read all reviews on all forms of media before you buy from this bloke. We cant all be wrong.
