I recently visited Tom's Garage Acura Honda Shop and was thoroughly impressed by their service. The team there offers a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, which I greatly appreciated. Tom and his Tech's are excellent. How many shops call you with the tech on speakerphone to run thru the issues with your older Honda with 245K miles on it. They give it to you straight and have the knowledge level to fix pesky problems. We will continue to go out of our way to their shop.

I'm absolutely delighted with the service I received at Tom's Garage for my vehicle. It has been one of the best experiences since I moved to NC. Working with Tommy was the best decision I ve ever made when it came to servicing my Acura. Not only does he have deep knowledge and experience with Honda/Acura s, he also delivers great results and communicates well so you re able to learn and understand throughout the process.I also really appreciated his honesty when I approached him with a lot of initial concerns that I had about my car. He still listened to them and was direct with me about my over-analysis and alleviating them ultimately. Honestly, that saved me hours of endless google searching rabbit holes.He also uses the best parts and if you need replacements and his prices are fair especially for the value.He is also a great human and very relatable and easy to coerce with making it a great experience and partnership to work with him.I m reluctant to give this review because then everyone will know how great tom s garage is but I was really blown away with how great it is that I can t hold back. Will be coming to Tommy from now on regarding anything Acura/Honda.5-star no doubt.

Dropped car off for maintenance, picked it up overheating and leaking coolant...I got a coolant service and afterwards I didn't even make it home before the car started overheating with coolant running out. When I took the car back I was told there was a head gasket leak (which was bogus). Not only was the car leaking coolant and overheating immediately after service but i was given a bad root cause. I had the car towed to another shop to replace the water pump and all is well now. Extremely disappointed in Tom's garage and will never ever take another vehicle there again.***Update***It has now been around 7 months and over 6k miles since my original post. I was told there was a head gasket leak however not a drop of coolant has had to be added. So I believe that confirms it was simply a waterpump leak and the bubbles were air bubbles from the leaking waterpump..not boiling due to a head gasket. Just because my car is old and high mileage (how many Hondas arent) doesn't mean I want to be told it can't be fixed be default.Pic attached is the coolant after 6K miles and being told there was a head gasket leak.**Final Update**Over 2 years later and 21k miles no coolant has leaked. Tom told me I had a head gasket issue and needed another car. Had I listened, I would have spent a lot of money for nothing. Creech Auto did the water pump/timing belt and nothing has been needed since. Daily driver with no issues.

My 2016 Acura MDX broke down with overheating and transmission issues. I got it towed to Tom's garage to get it checked out.Tommy called me next day and told me that there is a serious issue with the car's transmission and it may cost more than the value of the car. However, Tommy also identified that there is a Acura service bulletin talks about exactly the same issue where coolant is getting mixed with transmission oil.Tommy not only suggested in taking the care of Leith's Acura but he assisted in getting the car towed. What really blew my mind away when Acura services manager told me that Tommy came by with the car and explained the issue in detail and it will be covered under warranty.I can't say enough about how I felt, people like Tommy are rare in auto repair business.BTW, for initial diagnostic and support Tommy only charged me $55.Tommy, Acura finally fixed my car, it has new power train including transmission, engine etc.I owe you one!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car to Tom s shop for my A/C. He fixed it fast and communicated very well. It was not just that he fixed fast and took the time to tell me the issues. It s that he cares and is very honest. If you own a Honda or Acura. You are making a huge mistake going somewhere else other than Tom s Garage. You have been warned.

Tommy worked on my Type R a few months ago and I'm finally getting around to leaving him a well deserved review. I initially brought my car to him so that he could install some ball joints. When he had my car up on the lift, he noticed some things that needed repairs before he could install the ball joints. Tommy called me and explained exactly what was worn/damaged and what parts I need to buy.I ended up ordering the oem parts online and then made another appointment to for the repairs. Tommy fixed my car and installed the original ball joints that I brought him.Tommy is a true and honest Honda/Acura fan and he does excellent work. As long as I live in North Carolina, my Honda is only going to Toms Garage in Apex.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I purchased a used Honda Ridgeline three years ago and have had it serviced at several Honda repair shops and have not ever gotten the customer service received from Tom. He totally surprised me with calling back while on vacation to confirm a service date, and being very thorough in his complete check up of my vehicle with recommendations for the next service items for the vehicle. The pricing was fair and the full service was done in less than a day. I was able to drop it off in the morning and picked it up shortly after lunch. I told Tom that he will certainly be my go to Honda repair guy going forward. He is without a doubt worth 10 STARS!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

When looking into buying a used Honda Civic, I searched for Honda Specialists in the triangle. Only a few shops came up, and the other one I contacted never returned my call! I'm glad Tom called me back that same day and made time for my requested pre-purchase inspection. He assured me that there were no major issues with the car aside from an A/C compressor that was making enough noise to know it likely needed replacing. I bought the car, cleaned it up a bit, and brought it back to Tom's for the A/C compressor replacement. Everything was by the book. Honest assessment, quick work, friendly and knowledgeable, and always a better deal than the Honda dealership. No complaints. I Highly recommend Tom's for all Honda and Acura needs!

Can t say enough good things about Tommy and his Honda auto services. He has been taking care of our vehicles for I think close to 10 years now and we couldn t be happier. He is a no nonsense kinda guy who knows Honda. Period. Sometimes we consider buying another make vehicle but then think of him and change our minds -as silly as that sounds there is something very comforting about having a reliable, smart and very trusting mechanic to take care of of your vehicles. We recommend him to every Honda owner in the area.

Tom was great.We needed a new timing belt for our '04 Pilot. I shopped around a bit and got quotes from a couple places including the Dealer.Toms price was better than the dealer and he did a few extras for us at no additional charge.He had the work done quickly and I was impressed after I inspected his work. I am no expert but do know a thing or two about cars and would feel confident in his work.His garage was clean and well taken care of, a sign that he takes pride in his work.Worth every penny we spent.

I have a 2008 Acura MDX that needed service and Tom's Garage fit me in right away. They not only did my 200k mile service, but took great care to let me know of other issues they found while under the hood. Once I approved for them to address those additional issues that needed to be fixed, they were able to get me my car with a quick turnaround. I appreciated their professionalism and knowledge. I would definitely recommend Tom's Garage.

I had some engine work done here recently, my first ever visit to Tom's Garage, and the next day my check engine light was on, so I brought the car back to Tom. He figured out that a part of the engine was accidentally bent during the repair, total fluke thing that Honda acknowledged as an issue without an easy fix. He was honest from the beginning and he eventually had to spend $3,000 to repair the damage. He could have easily lied to me and had me left footing the bill, but he didn't, a true testament to an honest repair shop. If you own a Honda or Acura in the Triangle area you're crazy to go anywhere else.Service: Engine repair

Tom's Garage is the best place to take your Honda in this area. I've been taking my cars to him for years now and am always so pleased with the service he provides and his straight forward approach to customer service. No nonsense, take's care of his customers, more than fair pricing and super honest which is great. I'm not a very knowledgeable car person, but feel confident when working with Tom. Simply runs a great business with an excellent service.

Tom's Garage does excellent work and is affordably priced. They do their best to work you in when on short notice and only perform work that is needed for your vehicle. They use quality parts and have a lot of experience with all sorts of car issues. Tom's Garage stands behind the work they do!

Had the pleasure of not only taking my car to Toms Garage but also meeting a genuine honest car mechanic. I loved the fact that he is only specific to Honda and Acura, and was completely thorough and honest about my Honda Accord. I thought of getting rid of my car, but based on his facts I'm convinced I must keep it. I would highly recommend Toms Garage to anyone with these makes. I will definitely return even being from another city! Thank you Tom for your honesty and a pleasurable first time visit!

Was in the Raleigh area when my check engine light came on. Looked for a place to get service and Tom's had great reviews. Stopped in and they kindly checked the codes right away and replaced a bad spark plug. Tom even gave me a copy of a service bulletin regarding a warranty extension that applied to my problem. Wow! Tom has done work on both of my Honda Accords. He does good work, is honest, and looks out for his customers best interests. Any time I need work done in the future I will take it to him. I highly recommend his shop to anyone who needs work done on their Honda or Acura.

Trustworthy Individual with great knowledge, professionalism and expertise. I Found Tom on Google and was definitely satisfied with the customer service he provided and the work that he provided. I Wish there were more honest mechanics such as Tom. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for quality work with reasonable prices.
