I installed a 383 Stroker with Holley fuel injection in my 94 Silverado and spent months trying to get it to run right. After trying 3 other auto shops in the area with no success, I decided to try Ten-Ten Auto. Jerry diagnosed the issue immediately and recommended a distributor upgrade that fixed the problem. Truck is running great now!

Terrible customer service, low quality of work. I had to take my car to another shop to fix their bad install. I paid for the same job twice because they couldn t do it right the first time. I won t waste my time here ever again.

Brought my 4 x 4 in because it wouldn't transfer from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive. When I picked up the car I test drove it and it still would not shift. I had to return it and pay for another Lyft ride home.A spring was worn on the gear shifter. It was replaced but the rubber boot that keeps dust and debris out was damaged. It was torn when the car was returned to me.Took them two weeks to get part and repair. My car now shifts gears properly and the gear shift boot was replaced.They had to replace another part that they didn't diagnose properly to get my 4 wheel drive to work and replaced it free of charge.The inside of my vehicle had what appeared to be grease stains on the center console and seat upholstery. This vehicle is used for utility so it isn't kept that clean on the interior but I wouldn't expect to get it back dirtier than when I left it.What I liked: They made a mistake and corrected it without up charging. It was the right thing to do. They were friendly. They said the person who worked on my car is no longer there so perhaps this was a one time event.What I disliked: Car was returned to me with issues as if there was no quality control. There is no shuttle service so you will need to use Lyft, Uber or a friend. No clear expectation of time/date repairs will be made.I wouldn't say it was a bad experience but it wasn't great either. It was okay.

I own a 1973 Corvette with 64,000 original miles. It has its own attached garage and I treat it like a forth child. The AC has not worked this year. Another mechanic fixed it and recharged it last year but even then it did not work too well. I heard about Ten Ten Auto from one of my Corvette friends. Since it s only 5 minutes from my house I decided to give them a try but I was extremely apprehensive. So I dropped my baby off and went home but being the person I am I decided to go to the gas station next door to them to spy over the fence. I saw the car in one of their bays and a young man put a fender cover nicely over it as to not hurt the paint. Later they called with an estimate and said they could order parts for tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and I brought it back. Not only did they re-rewire it correctly so there is no more clicking under the hood but it blows cold air more than my newer SUV. I frequent car shows. Knowing that, the owner made sure everything was neat as it would be in 1973. I belong to two corvette clubs and the American legion cruisers. This was yesterday and already I told a bunch of people at today s cars and coffee.Update: Took my corvette for the shocks, starter and replace the alarm horn. Again perfect. I purchased the original parts and it took them half a day to install. Additionally they repacked the wheel bearings and tightened the hubs up for me.Service: Air conditioning

I ll never let ten ten auto service any of our cars in the future. On August 9th, 2022, I paid $2,075.35 to replace the catalytic converter in my 2017 Kia Sportage. Unfortunately, I didn't have any reason to go into the trunk of my car until a little over a week later. When I did, I found the engine splash shield, also known as the skid plate and what looked like the catalytic converter cover sitting in there. I contacted ten ten auto and they asked me to bring it in the following work day. They re-installed both pieces, but when I asked for some reimbursement for my time, their negligence and the damage that my engine had been exposed to during the time it was being driven without those pieces in place, remember there is a lot of construction and road debris in the Apex/Holly Springs area, I was told the owner declined to reimburse anything. BTW, I never even received an apology for their negligence. That's my experience with this auto repair shop and I thought you should be aware of it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We just moved to town and needed a vehicle inspection for my Tesla. I did a google search and these guys were highly rated. I call yesterday, and the office manager was awesome as she scheduled an appointment for this morning. They did a great job with my Tesla and they have inspected hundreds of Teslas and they use the Tesla pucks to lift the car. I would highly recommend them and will use them for my other vehicles. I can not express enough how friendly the office manager was as I waited for the inspection to be completed.Service: Vehicle Inspection

JT and the guys at ten ten auto are amazing. They rebuilt my rear end 18 mos ago I ve never had a problem. I dropped it off because it was making a weird noise in my back left tire when I would turn. So I took it up there because I was afraid it was the rear end again. I was wrong. I accidentally hit the 4x4 switch and my truck doesn t tell me when I m in 4 wheel drive. Most mechanics would have told me it was this or that and it ll be $800. JT called me personally and told me the problem. I was sooooo embarrassed. They even told me everything that they could see wrong with it and when I went to pick it up he didn t charge me a dime. He just earned a customer for LIFE. I have never been to such an honest mechanic. He even told me I don t have to change it all I can just make sure the leaking parts are topped off but I m definitely taking it back to get them to fix it. I m. Taking my car there also. I ve been looking for an honest mechanic since I moved here in 2016 and I finally found one. Nobody else will ever touch one of my vehicles. He could have charged me $200+ for diagnosing it but he didn t. I m blown away by their service and if they have any bad reviews it s because of the customer not the business.

Not a fan. I think their prices are higher than other shops. They lie and don't fix things as told. Had two seals replaced on transmission $800 dollars later and it leaked more than before. In my experience with mechanics when services go like this no point in bringing it back as they usually make up some reason why and charge more to continue working on it. Friendly is about all they have going for them.Service: Transmission repair

I don't often do reviews, but I was so happy that I feel obligated. I brought my Tundra in for a steering wheel shake that I've had for a couple years. I always assumed it was uneven wear on my off-road tires, but recently it got worse from the insane construction happening around Apex and Holly Springs. After spending an entire day diagnosing the issue and into the following day, they found the problem, corrected it and I was on my way with ZERO shaking. JT was very responsive and kept me in the loop. I legitimately forgot what driving it felt like without my steering wheel trying to fly out of my cab. When I got my bill, I was blown away. They could have charged me anything they wanted and lied about what the issues were to make a few extra bucks, but they didn't. Extremely fair pricing and my 2015 feels like it does the day I drove it off the lot. It's hard to find an honest mechanic, but super happy that I've found mine!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Used to go to this shop a while ago. Always did decent work, but tended to want to replace things a little earlier than other shops. I get the logic, but even after I explained my goals their recommendations were a lot more expensive than other shops that thought some things didn't need replacing. The only place I service my vehicle. They keep my car healthy and safe which keeps me on the road for an active life. Knowledgeable Techs and fair prices. Bundle services and be preventative and you won't be here very much! A+

I have been doing business with Ten Ten Auto for over 4 years. Jerry, Josh, and the entire staff are competent, reliable, and very fair. This business has earned my trust. I have not only been pleased with the service provided, but have great confidence in the service recommendations and quotes they provide me. Having a mechanic that I TRUST has been invaluable! It gives me great peace of mind knowing that all of my family drive vehicles that Ten Ten Auto has serviced. I highly recommended them if you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

I had been to a previous shop with my 86 Blazer with just over 100k original miles for them to fix my air conditioning. After numerous times of going back, I ended up frustrated and looking for another place. That is when I took my truck to Ten-Ten Auto. First of all, their professionalism and customer experience is next to none for auto repair shops. They fixed the issue with the air conditioning, did a tune up of the motor, and replaced hoses that could not hold a vacuum. Upon pickup, Jerry (the owner) came out and began talking to me about my truck and any recommendations he had, as well as everything he had seen underneath including the condition of components all around. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I was happy with the work they did. They are also very timely in their repairs. My truck now runs smoother than I have ever known and the A/C is colder than any newer truck I have been in. I am extremely satisfied with this shop and will be using them for any repairs in the future.Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I have lived just down the street from this place for years, but only took my car here for the first time recently. I had an issue with my brakes and took my car to my regular mechanic, who said it would take about a week and a half to order parts and complete repairs. I called around a few places to see if it could be done in a few days instead. I spoke with and eventually worked with Chris at Ten Ten Auto Service.I received a cheaper quote from another local shop, but they asked me almost nothing about my car, the problems I was having, or the necessary parts that might be involved. Chris came across as knowledgeable, fair, and explained the available options then recommended what they could do for the best value.I dropped my car off a bit after 4PM and Chris called at 8AM the following day to let me know they'd stayed late and it was available for pick up.HIS OVER THE PHONE PRICE QUOTE WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THEY ACTUALLY CHARGED! BEWARE, these guys charged me less than what I had already agreed to pay after the work has been performed. (I couldn't resist the all caps hope no one just scanning reviews misses what actually happened here). This was exactly the opposite of what I've come to expect from mechanics.Again, they aren't the cheapest in town, but bargain shopping for brakes sounds about as sensible as bargain shopping for a tattoo. They were, however, a several hundred dollars cheaper than what my regular mechanic quoted me and I am confident in the work they did. Also, I'd expect the cheaper quote I received over the phone from a different place wouldn't be what I'd walk out the door paying there.Excellent and prompt service; don't think I've ever felt as good about paying a mechanic.

Highly recommend this shop. To make a very long story short, we just bought a used car from a dealership as-is and was told it had no problems. Of course a week after we took it home it started having some issues with shaking/rattling when accelerating slowly and idling. After taking it to two different shops and were told multiple repair options in the thousands of dollars range, we decided to take it to Ten Ten since they were listed as a shop on the Car Fax and they were amazing from the start.Me and my fianc� work long hours so we had to do early morning and late night drop offs and they were flexible, understanding and professional and went out of their way to fix all the problems for way way less than we were being quoted elsewhere. This shop is almost 40 minutes from my house but I would absolutely take my car back in a heartbeat. I am 8 months pregnant and now feel super comfortable bringing home our newborn in this car soon as all the problems are gone!10/10 don t hesitate to give them a try. Thanks so much guys!

Could not have been more satisfied with the work completed. Jerry and the team were very quick to repair the issues and always kept me up to date with the status of my vehicle. The team at Ten Ten Auto is great! The customer service is always great (responsive to emails and great in office too). They have always been realistic with advice on what is needed and what is recommended. As a female, I don't feel like I need to take my husband to get the straight answer from them. Great people doing great work! I've recommended them to family and friends and all have had similar experiences.

I usually get my propane tanks filled here and thought it would be good to have my girlfriend bring her car here since it is local with a good reputation. The experience of getting new tires and alignment went smooth. The state inspection however went completely awry. Her car ignition was fine going into the shop but came out with the ignition stuck in the on position and the key locked in place. Yes ladies and gentlemen, the car was given back to her running with no way to turn it back off except disconnecting the battery cables. Luckily my neighbor was available to help since I was traveling for work. I understand the car is going on 8 years old and there is a record of the Chevy Aveo having this issue but her model was not included in the recall and there have not been any issues during the entire life span of the vehicle until now. The problem I have is not so much with it breaking while in the shop's possession (interesting coincidence) but how they handled it. Towing the car back the next day... What they charged my girlfriend for looking at the car that was damaged while in their possession and for the part that they thought needed to be replaced but started working again; it came out to over 50% of the total cost to just replace the part. Had that information been communicated when the ignition started working at their shop again, we would have opted for them to simply complete the repair and be done. We want to save money on older vehicles where possible while keeping them running. Although they say they try to help save you money they are still in the business to make money and that is very clear. I will reserve further comment until after I speak with them again because obviously this part is no longer going to last in place and will have to be replaced at some point.

I brought my car top Ten Ten after getting an estimate elsewhere for over $1,300 to repair my leasing power steering system.The reason I brought it in was a check engine light, Jerry and Mark got me out the door for $900 fixing my check engine issues, my power steering and changing out my transmission fluid.It is clear this shop is honest and interested in doing the right thing.I will be back despite a 20 minute drive because an honest mechanic is gold and these guys are the best.

GREAT experience with Ten Ten Auto. Great people and will definitely be going back. Gave upfront pricing on everything recommended for my car. No pressure to do more than what my car needed. Constant stream of people coming and going who seem to be return customers and all very happy about their service. We just moved to the area and found our go to auto service. Very happy customer.

The best autoshop experience I've ever had. The staff were all very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. The waiting area was clean and had a few nice couches with water, soda, coffee and a TV. I always dread autoshop waiting areas but this one was really pleasant. Plus I got in and out in under 30 minutes for an NC inspection.I would recommend calling ahead/scheduling your inspection but I only called ahead by about 2 hours.

If you are in need of a true diagnosis, when others have failed, or have come back with something that just doesn't feel right or seems to easy as well as overly expensive....If you are wanting great service, quality work, and at a reasonable price, then Ten Ten Auto Services is thee place to have your car serviced. Jerry and his team are very professional, and they really know their way around vehicles. I can highly recommend them, and will continue to take all of my vehicles to them.
