I hate having tire problems but these guys fix things right and fast. They are my number one pick when I need something checked out.. I understand there may be cheaper places to buy tires but I personally guarantee you will not beat the quality of service you receive here it is my money...

Needs better management. Wouldn t spare five minutes for a sensor reprogram, instead wanted to place the sensor reprogram in same category as a four tire change and put me in the same waiting line as those customers. Not very good shop or time management. Could ve made everyone in the waiting room happy as well gotten paid for the job. Instead lost a customer on the day. And it s happened multiple times. I tire plug or sensor reprogram customer shouldn t be put in the same line as a four tire change customer.

I had an issue while changing my own trailer tire and took it here for assistance. The gentlemen who helped me did not give up easily and got the job done.

I would look for a better option, but they put my wheels on with an impact gun and didn t even thread the lug nuts on at least 1-2 threads before using it. Got the car back with 1 tire going flat and all the other tires were filled to 50psi. The car only calls for 35 front and 37 rear. I will not go back. Only giving them 2 stars for quick shipping on tires and okay prices. But you pay for what you get I guess.

Customer service could be a little better. They are very busy with customers. It's suppose to be on a first come first serve basis, but if someone comes in wanting to buy tires, if you are not watching, they will put that person ahead of you if you are not there to buy new tires

These guys are awesome! Repaired my Z.R. mower tire quickly and sent me on my way back to finish before dark. I have dealt with them for years and will continue to do so!

Good place to get tires. Offers all your standard tire shop needs. A friend had a tire plugged and it only costed seven dollars. I would definitely return. In the middle of Albemarle and convenient.If you find this review helpful please give it a thumbs up.

This place has been around for years! They have amazing service( small mom and pop place) I was impressed with the very competitive pricing and the fast service! I would definitely recommend to a friend.

This is the only place I buy tires. Wade and the crew are A+++You will not beat the out the door price. Heis honest and really cares about hiscustomers. DO not let the older buildingand lack of waxed floors concern you!

We moved to Albemarle in 1998 when I and my wife started employment at Stanly Hospital.I took a Buick LeSabre to Albemarle Tire & Retreading in 1999 to have disc brake pads installed (which were starting to squeal).I had cash money in my pocket and was ready to pay for new brakes.I was sitting in their waiting area, thumbing through a magazine, when Wade came in and said..."Can you come out here, I want to show you something."I always remembered what he said when we walked outside..."I want to sell you brakes...but I want to sell them to you when you actually need them."He then pointed out to me the life that was still left on the pads.He told me I had about 5000 miles left on the pads.He said the squealing was being caused by brake dust (which they cleaned off).He didn't charge me anything, he just told me to come back in around 5000 miles for the new brakes.I knew right then and there that I had found an honest merchant and an honest business.I came back in 5000 miles and got the new brakes installed...and have been coming back ever since over the past 20 years for all of our tires, alignments, and brakes.And now that my two kids are grown...21 and 19 years old...they go there also for tires.I have had nothing but a positive experience at this business and with the personnel over the past 20 years.5 STARS.I would give them 6 STARS if that rating was available.

Had a screw in my tire called Walmart first and was told that the screw may be too close to the wall and I probably should just buy a new tire and then when I got there it was too early they didn't have someone qualified yet so drove over to Albemarle tire and retread walk in the door said I have a screw in my tire I need a plug they said pull on up within 10 minutes it was done seven bucks in and out wonderful experience wonderful people will never go to Walmart for tires ever again.

Great service, friendly/knowledgeable staff, and good pricing. I came away with 4 new tires and back brakes for a lot less than other places charge. Excellent place.

My family has been purchasing tires from here for a very long time. I'm not sure how long, but I'd wager more than a decade at the very least. On my own vehicles, we've purchased at least two sets, and I don't even know how many for my parents.Recently, I had a balding tire on a trip home to visit my parents, and they insisted I replace it. Fair enough, it was pretty bald, and I'd been meaning to get around to it for a time already. As they trust the man who owns the place, Kent Cook, we decided to have them order the tire. I should clarify, it's a good drive to Albemarle Tire from where I work, and an even longer trip from where I live; around two hours.The tires had arrived on a Wednesday, but I couldn't make it down due to working over. Thursday, I managed to make it by 4:40. Granted, only twenty minutes before closure, but it's just a tire change, and I didn't think it was a big deal for an $700-800 purchase.Bearing in mind that we are repeat customers, and long term repeat customers, I was somewhat surprised when I was told that the workers leave at 5:00 PM sharp, with no exceptions. In my own line of work, if I have some extra work to do, I stay, sometimes for hours after the time I'm supposed to have left. Instead of asking a worker to stay for a few minutes to finish, when I arrived during business hours, I was asked to come back on a weekend, which would require a two hour drive there, and a two hours drive back.I know, it's not pleasant having to make the extra effort sometimes. It's not pleasant to work extra, or longer. The question I would recommend to anyone considering Albemarle Tire Co. though is this. Do you want a company who will go the extra mile for you? If they have this little motivation for a repeat customer, how do you imagine they will treat first time customers?I understand they wish to leave at their scheduled time. As someone personally willing to go the extra mile in my own line of work, I also will leave this review, because I believe work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond are important. I can't speak for the rest of my family, but should I ever find myself in Albemarle again, I will never return here. I would like the three hours of driving I spent only to be told I should go back home, back.

Other reviewer is crazy.... My family has been doing business with these guys for over 30 years. (why would you drive 2 hours for a set of tires? if you had actually told them what was going on i can guarantee they would help you. Maybe you didnt ask nicely. ) You cant beat their prices or the level of service you get anywhere.

Best place in town to get a tire fixed. Best price in town on tire services also. Great customer service. Super nice people who run it. I would refur anyone to use their services.
