Don and Mike are very professional and caring individuals. Any issues that came about, Mike and Don resolved in a timely manner. Love the navigator and I am very pleased with my purchase. They stand behind their vehicles. I would definitely stop at Laclair s if you are looking for a quality used vehicle. I would 100% do business with them again in the future.

Did not pay us after we delivered three cars to him, the reply below is not true, upload your pictures. Definitely do not buy from here because he buys absolute garbage cars at Manheim Albany and sells it to you. We brought 3 to him in the condition we got it from Manheim. If it was truly damaged, he could have easily went to insurance to collect money on it but he didn't. Just overall loser and probably going out of business, that's why he isn't paying. Buy your car somewhere else.

I was asked to leave a review of the business and Really hope the next person that thinks about going to Laclairs thoroughly reads the reviews! If I could leave ZERO stars I would!I purchased a vehicle off the lot I paid cash, signed papers including a receipt of my purchase and Registration. Exactly 1 month later a repo truck showed up and took my vehicle. I had no loan on the vehicle as I paid them cash. The previous owners loan was never satisfied and they resold the vehicle. Anyway I contact Don my salesman who was incredibly rude and told me he wasn't dealing with it "Call mike" I called Mike and after 2 1/2 weeks of "he's going to make this right for me" I finally had to go to the police and file a police report in order to get my refund. Which I did receive. But I should not have been without a vehicle or refund for 3 weeks while getting the run around from the owner about how he was "making it right". A situation that should have NEVER happened. I really hope you weigh all of your options before dealing with Mike Demarco or Don!Edit to add: I called the bank that repoed the vehicle because it was about 1 week later that "bank error" was even mentioned as a option, I was told by Mike that he was contacting them and he NEVER did! It was no bank error or that would have been the first call made instead of offering me a refund or different vehichle. The replacement vehicle was being fixed for 2 weeks! Which is ultimately why I told Mike I wanted a refund. This refund WAS NEVER MAILED. I drove another hour to go pick up my refund from the police station. The owner will try to work this as if he was no fault but when you pay CASH for a vehicle at a Dealership this should NEVER HAPPEN. Also ! When I first spoke to Mike I immediately told him I wanted a refund as soon as I said that he stated he was in Nevada indefinitely and Noone had access to his bank accounts which is why a replacement vehicle was even thought of.

If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Mike and his team are the best ! I got denied back to back at other dealers , Gave Laclair Autos a shot cause they had the car i was in the market for. They went over and beyond to make sure i left with the car i wanted and was completely satisfied. Drove the car 4 hours home with no problems thank you Mike for all the help i love it!!!!

I would give zero stars if I could but please believe every one star review on here it took a month to get out car after promises being made of it being done that dragged out for a month . Unprofessional will just yell and tell u it will be done when it is done . To find out the car was done at the shop 4 days before we could even get the car due to them not going to pay the mechanic please steer clear and go somewhere else

I went to Laclairs after being turned down a few places as it's in my hometown. I just asked that I was given a reliable car. I wasn't expecting a perfect car as it was a great price but it was reliable just made it back to Albany area without a hitch. Any issues I found were offered to be fixed as soon as I could bring the car back. More importantly I found it very nice that I got a call from the shop offering to pick me up if needed.

Working with Mike was a blessing. He did not stop working or helping me. Even when I thought it was impossible to get a bank to approve me for a loan, Mike made it happen. He didn't give up. He made sure the vehicle was 100% ready to go with no issues before I received it. He always responded back to me. Mike is very professional and hard working for his company and customers.

LaClair's Auto Sales is my one stop shop for reliable vehicles. The staff is honest, thorough, and compassionate. They are the reason I do not buy brand new cars. I need cars that will run forever, so I wait a few years to see what the review is on potential cars. I purchased my last two vehicles (Toyota Avalon & Lexus ES 350 Luxury Edition) from LaClair's, and my vehicles maintained their value. All I had to do was change the oil and breaks. I was asked to leave a 5 star review about my experience, it was anything but. I'm going to leave a honest review. First and foremost I don't have good credit at all. I know he will use that to bash me as he does with all others that leave negative reviews. It took just about 2.5 months to sell me a car. When I get the car I first noticed the passenger side mirror was broken and the plate lamps do not work. Both I believe are part of NYSI requirements. Then I realize my driver window does not work, checked it and the motor had a burnt component in it. While driving I noticed that when I hit a bump my whole back end sways and upon inspecting it the rear sway bar needs the link and bushings replaced. Went to get my oil changed because at this point I don't trust the car. They couldn't even change the oil and I was told it was burnt and I smelt it myself. And then at the end I got spat on in the face because what was listed as a 10k vehicle online was sold to me with a price tag of 14k with taxes included in that price. I don't dare bring my car back for repairs to be made as I fear I will lose my car for at least a month. So my experience was not a 5 star experience. I will be getting the vehicle reinspected and looked over by a proper mechanic.

With the prices of gas going through the roof I needed something smaller than my truck, Mike was able to get me approved for a loan even with my credit not being the best! He was willing to work with me every step of the way and was able to get me into a smaller car within a week! The salesman I met "Don" when I took the car for a test drive was very personable and treated you more than just a customer! Overall I had a great experience here and will be back here in a few years when I'm looking for something new!

Worst place ever. I bought a car back in November. Well it didn't pass inspection needed new motor. They offered to replace motor or let me pick a new car. I asked to get out of the loan and get my deposit back. They said no I won't get my deposit back. So I said a new motor. 3 weeks went by I reached out to them. To find out they can't get the motor. So I asked again for my deposit back. Since they kept saying we will make this right. Again no so I said I will look and test drive another vehicle they have. Asked when I can come down to test drive. They told me they will text me in the morning. They never contacted me. Now I already made a car payment and insurance. I called the financial company today. Reported them. They are reaching out to get there money back. I'm calling the attorney general and making a complaint with the DMV and better business bureau. Please NEVER GO Here. After a month of this terrible experience they still have Not sent the money back to the loan company.THIS dealership is a scam they rip people off. Don't be a fool and go to them. There are other places that do fiance just Google in the area.

Crooks. Especially the manager, beware of them. They are the old school used car crooks. I would never do business with them again. I had to beg and fight for my registration and paperwork. I paid cash for vehicle. They took money and ran. I had to go to dmv and registration car myself. Never again.I'm postive it was laclairs auto on oriskany Blvd . Kiddy corner of vosses. You have no records of the sale sounds correct. Unfortunately for you, I'm alot more organized and responsible than you. I have records. I have text from do . Phone calls from Mike. You never see Mike he just makes all the offers and decisions over the phone. Wasn't the dmv error either. It was yours, my aunt is a supervisor at the dmv. She looked into this for me. No paperwork was ever filed. I bought a cadillac dts from you. CASH! you didn't even have the professional courtesy to have the caddy detailed. It was filthy when I got it. I had to have it detailed. Then when I tried contacting you about the registration (that I paid for) you and Mike wanted to give me the run around for a month. Recall me as an customer yet? I will help u out some more....you had one price on the car on the caddy on the lot, your website had the same car posted 3k lower than price on lot. You Gave me the website price when I brought this to your attention, after the fact we had already agreed to the lot price. If your reading this review as a potential customer, also refer to another review on here about this stealership, I mean dealership. View anjelica casado review. I believe her review 1000 percent that's how this dealership operates. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and aggravation go somewhere else please!!!! You will thank me. Whoever put up a postive review about this dealership must be a family member or the actual salesman don. Goodluck!
