Was involved in a minor collision with my BMW and I m grateful for this place. I was involved in the accident on a Sunday and when many other repair and body shops were closed. They were able to take my car in. My car was fixed in a total of 9 days, Rich and his team works hard and I got my car back quickly. I noticed a couple of scratches to my interior when I got it back, he was super apologetic and fixed them immediately within 2 days like new. Very trustworthy and good! I ve included before and after pictures. Car doesn t even look like it was in an accident .

Manhattan Auto Repair provides excellent service and is always ready when you need them. I've been bringing my car to them for years for routine maintenance, service and inspections, and recently needed some collision repair work. They provided an estimate for insurance and performed the repair work at my convenience. The result was my 2019 Pathfinder looks like new. I highly recommend Manhattan Auto Repair.

Extraordinary service! Our breaks failed just as we drove into the city. After some frantic calling, we were able to limp the car over to Manhattan Auto Repair on a Saturday morning. Amazingly, they found parts and had our car ready by 1pm that same day. Unheard of! We were so grateful by their kindness, their professionalism, and their skill. What started as a very scary situation turned into a gift. We are so grateful to the incredible team at Manhattan Auto Repair.

I swung by Manhattan Auto again for some quick work on my car. Like always, Oz and his team were top-notch. Needed to get my battery replaced this time around, and wouldn't you know it, they had it ready by the time I got there in the afternoon. They're always spot on with their estimates and don't beat around the bush, which I appreciate. Reliable as ever and right in the heart of midtown, they're my go-to for anything car-related.

I went in for a typical NYS inspection but it turned out that I needed new brakes, pads, rotors, filters, tires and an oil change. I was really nervous about it at first but Ozzy gives a very fair price. He includes everything in the quote so there were no surprises later. The car was ready the next afternoon. The communication was clear and the response time was quick. I was very happy with my experience.

This was by far the easiest and best inspection experience I have had. Guys were welcoming and nice. I was in and out in 10 minutes. They didn t try to upsell me anything. I will 100% use this place again.

Amazing service and they are all reliable and sincere. My bloody car stopped running (shut off while driving) on the road just when I entered Manhattan from the Lincoln tunnel. So, my car had engine problems. I called and they towed me to their garage. They looked and my car and fixed the issue within a day and the next morning I got the car back. They are great 10/10 affordable and sincere.

Great service. Brakes went out on our 2005 van while visiting Manhattan on business. It was un- drivable. I called this business, they sent a tow truck within an hour and had extensive repairs done 24 hours later. The price was similar to what I d have paid back nome. They were even able to recommend a rental car 2 blocks away so we could meet all our business obligations. They saved our trip for us. Good communication too.Service: Brakes

I had my car annual inspection here, I didn't have a reservation and I came here and waited for a few minutes,the inspection was also very fast and ended in less than 10 min. they also helped me fix the tire, It took about half an hour to repair two tires and inspection, the cost is fair ! Everything is good, people are nice, I would definitely recommend it to my friends. I had a very good experience.

I needed a new auto repair shop in the city. I saw Ozzie quoted in a @NYT article. I checked the Google reviews and they were highly rated. They live up to their reviews! Ozzie squeezed me in for the Inspection and went over a few things that will need attention. Honest, Fast and a pleasure to deal with which is, let's be honest, hard to find anywhere in any business. Highly recommend. I now have my new auto shop in the city.

I absolutely love these guys!! Ozzy and his mechanics helped me out when my car died from rats eating my wires. It was the Saturday of July 4 weekend and they worked after hours to do all the work that needed to be done knowing we needed the car to go away for the holiday. Got a call at 9:00am monday letting me know they finished. Had a great experience here. Ozzy was friendly and helpful, and very honest with what needed to be done to my car. Price seemed very reasonable and I was told exactly what the price would be before they started service. Definitely my new auto shop in Manhattan.

Long overdue, but I had to leave a review for this wonderful auto shop! I was in an accident right before Christmas and Ozzy was incredibly responsive, kind, and empathetic to my situation. He and Rich made sure I got my car door/fender replaced as quickly as possible, with a super clean paint job. I truly appreciated the positive energy I received from them throughout the process.My father is a mechanic, and I feel the least I can do is leave a review for these wonderful people. AMAZING SHOP, QUICK AND EFFICIENT!!!AND THEY WONT BREAK YOUR POCKETS!! i hit one of the dividers as i was attempting to driving home (i live 2hrs upstate) my tire popped. I was 2 hrs from home, walking around manhattan with my daughter, looking for someone to help me. When i came across this shop. I walked up to Richard and asked for help. I explained my situation to both him and Jacob and without hesitation they came to my rescue.They took me back to my car to inspect how bad the situation was and quickly analyzed the issue. They told me to drive the car slowly back to their shop, and found a tire they had sitting around that would come as close to the tire size i had on my vehicle, so that i could get home safely. They gave me water and calmed me down. 30 mins later i was all set to go home. They did it with a joyful heart and spirit. I had no appointment or relationship with this shop.I was just a nervous mom looking for help and they were complete gentlemen's to me and my daughter. I will forever remember what they did for me and how quickly they came to help. To top it off they charged me nearly nothing to do all of this. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude. All i can say is this shop not only deserves a great review, but a lifetime of abundance and wealth. I pray god bless them in all departments of their life. Thank you Jacob! Thank you Richard!

I had my car in for a state inspection today. Ozzy and team were very helpful and great people to deal with. I used them for the first time today, but will be taking my car to them going forward. They are very honest and trustworthy. I got into an accident and Manhattan Auto repaired my car amazingly. They did a great job and were very efficient. I asked for my car back in 4 days and they repaired it in just 2! Also they were very reasonable- much cheaper than another auto shop that I got a quote from. Took my car in for a repair and state inspection. Scheduled the service via email ahead of time and received an upfront quote for exactly the cost of the repair. Staff was super friendly and professional when I dropped the car off.

Arrived in NYC with check engine light and they got me in immediately to take a look and make sure it was safe for me to make the trip home 6 hours away. Very reasonable price and when I got home to my mechanic they were correct about what they said was wrong.

Last week I was driving on the West Side Highway to a business appointment when my belts went and I needed help fast. I pulled over and searched for an Auto Mechanic and found these guys. I had very little time to make my appointment and needed my car back the same day. Ozzy, Rich, and Jacob came to the rescue and fixed my car by the end of the day. Really appreciate these guys. Great work, great prices for anywhere but esp for Manhattan. They've gone above and beyond several times over the last 4 years and I always felt looked after and they never pushed needless repairs or any of that nonsense. And when I had an issue w my new starter after a couple days, they took out the faulty one and replaced it the same day. Between Ozzy and Rich and their guys, you're in good hands.

Had to do a last-second inspection and decided to try these guys out, it was totally last minute because I procrastinated and I didn't want to get a ticket. These guys took me in so quickly, and were a joy to work with. They were efficient, quick, and I'm shocked because a repair shop this efficient and friendly, I just didn't think that existed in Manhattan. Don't even hesitate to take your car here. It's rare to have a gem like this in midtown!

The staff and owner are very rude to the public. They take up half of the block street parking their customers' cars and try to bully passing drivers into not taking the spots when they move them around. When street cleaning happens they all pour out of the shop to push everyone out so they can have more room to work rent free on the street. Rent more space if you need it instead of putting the it on the taxpayer's dime and taking away a chunk of what little street parking is left in Manhattan.

These guys are really good. Not only are they good, they are honest and will go out there way to help you. I really enjoyed these guys. Professionals and sense of humor. And they will not rip you off. Want repairs where you feel comfortable and understood. Come here. Fair & punctual. New to NYC and needed an inspection. Read the reviews and agree they are professional. Brakes were worn (I knew that) and I didn t feel talked down to or takenadvantage of. Quote was what I expected - felt they were honest. Would return to to them again!

I have a 3 year old 4Runner and it s never had any problems since it s a relatively new vehicle. On a Saturday morning the check engine light was on and the car was shaking violently. I found these guys online and luckily they were open. They brought my car in immediately and ran a diagnostic which said it was one of the cylinders. Their guys are experts and incredibly knowledgeable so realized that didn t really make sense for such a young vehicle so checked further and found cut wires, likely from rats. RATS! I would neither have thought of that nor have I heard of it until this day. They graciously fixed the wires right away and saved my weekend of travel. I will definitely go back to these guys if I ever need help again, they re AMAZING!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

My sister and I drove our 2013 Dodge Journey from Texas to New York. We made it all the way to the city before the car died on us in the middle of the street. This shop was a godsend. Not only were they quick, communicative, nice people, they're also incredibly considerate. After roadside towing the car to one shop, quoting a $2,100 fix, and refusing to jump it for us so we could go elsewhere, Manhattan Auto Repair (and specifically mechanic Ozzy) had a tow truck outside for us in 15 minutes. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. This was by far the best experience I've ever had with a car in the shop, (coming from a person whose family works in the automotive industry.) AND as an added bonus, the bluetooth which hasn't worked in this vehicle in three years, started working again as soon as we picked it up! I'm beyond please with this company and their mechanics. Next time a car breaks down on me I'm bringing it here, no matter where I live. 10/5.

You're lucky if you see this place. I had my older minivan repaired and tuned-up here a few months ago. After that, the car can be reliably on the road again. The team here is professional and nice. They think on your behalf and provide good suggestions and do the right work. Considered the services done in Manhattan, I would say the price charged is reasonable. Besides they provide a 12-month warranty, that makes you feel protected. I'm happy with the service and recommend the team to you.
