I visited the place to replace the rear bumber. The staff was very friendly and the price was also unbelivably honest and reasonable.Moreover, the paint finish was done flawlessly and beautifully and fixed the bumper fit which was off and sticking out really bad before the replacement.Very professional work and service!! I highly recommand!!

Just a wonderful place to deal with. Low keyed and modest but they really delivered. Each step they were prompt and true to their word and when the car was returned it was a 2014 car that looked brand new.

Thank you to the team at Auto Care East. My car got a bad ding in our neighborhood garage and Auto Care East removed the dent and repainted the quarter panel with perfection. I know it's NYC and service can be impersonal, yet Mary was kind and professional when I first called and when I arrived. She called me when my car was ready for pick up as promised. I was very surprised to find the car spotless inside and out, washed and looking like brand new, which was relief with Covid still an issue (interior was sanitized).Thank you so much. I would suggest taking your car to this garage. No, it wasn't close but it was worth the Uber trips to get these dents removed, repaired and repainted.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Yesterday, I walked to my moms car and surprise- flat tire. I live on the UES and the thought of going to a mechanic here v the burbs was scary. I figured it would be expensive and a hassle. I couldn t have been more wrong. The friendliest, most helpful mechanic shop I ve ever been to. Warm and thoughtful too. I m floored. And then the bill came- fair as can be. The same price as the tires at sears and labor was only $40 Plus this puppy lives there and she is the sweetest.Guys- this is the best find on the UES

Customer service is disgusting. The tall Caucasian Man in the office needs some classes on respect and communication. I would rather deal with my car being the way it is than to subject myself to his treatment.

I brought my car in after an accident with a State Farm insured - it needed a new bumper and hatch. The team handled everything with insurance fluidly and with little involvement from me. The quality of the body work and painting was sublime, and the steady communication via email was much appreciated on my end. Auto Care East did a fantastic job repairing my car. They explained why I'd need a new bumper rather than simply a repaint job, and made that part of my car look as good as new. Then they cleaned the interior and exterior of the car without my asking them to, and even waxed the exterior, making it literally sparkle. Plus, they worked fast. Very pleased!Service: Body & Trim

Unparalleled customer service! I had an appointment confirmed days in advance. I took off work to drop my car off at the agreed upon time for an inspection. I arrive at my appointment time and say that I'm there to drop it off.Quizzically, the receptionist asks what I'm coming in for?"An inspection and oil change", I say."Oh, I thought I texted you, the mechanic isn't in today, so we can't do it.""I didn't receive any communication, is there no one else that can do it?""No.""Okay, thank you so much. Excellent customer service!"They could not have cared less about the inconvenience and made no attempts to reschedule the appointment.

I feel this is a high-quality shop that I'm glad I trusted my car with. My insurance company recommended them and they were right. They made the repairs in more than a timely manner and kept us in the loop. Very good customer service. Greatest auto body repair I've ever experienced. I've used them twice with insurance once without. They are the nicest, people, the work is totally professional and my car looks good as new. Prices are fair. Timing is good and they stay in touch and provide updates regularly. I love them and would not use any place else in Manhattan.

After a fender bender we took our brand new Mazda CX-5 to Auto Care East and were not disappointed we did. The repair work was excellent and prompt. Communication was also decent, though not perfect. I had to call to follow up on the estimate, for example. That said, however, the work was done well and was reasonably priced. The car was also cleaned inside and out when we got it back - and it definitely didn't go in that way! We feel like we have our new car back! Auto Care East defies the typical negative stereotypes of mechanics. They are polite, professional, communicative, straightforward and do what they say, on time and on budget. They were helpful in coordinating timing that was convenient for me for drop off and pick up multiple times. I have been going to Auto Care East for ~7 years and have always been satisfied with their service, pricing, timely turnaround and their courtesy. I have an older Lexus and they do great work and they will alert me on upcoming service that should be done when the SUV hits certain mileage levels. I park near garage and they will pick-up and drop-off my vehicle to my garage. They couldn't be more professional.

This shop owner was the rudest person I ever dealt with. At first they didn t want to take my car in for an insurance claim. I waited 2 weeks and then had Liberty Mutual contact them. They asked me to wait another week and we scheduled a day to come in and drop the car off. Upon arrival, the lady at the desk asked me to wait. I waited for 20 mins while this guy sat at his desk and twittled his thumbs, Im assuming on purpose because he was being indignant about having to repair my car since his shop is a preferred repair shop. Here we are a month later after the accident that Im dropping my car, and this guy has the audacity to treat me like this.Fast forward, I get my car back, and within a month I noticed that the area that they repainted turned colors. Albeit, only slightly noticeable, but still, its there. These people hounded me for every dollar I owed them, and when I asked if they would repair their work, I never heard back from them. Just know that this business holds grudges and thinks they can treat people like jerks if they feel it s appropriate. Thats bad business. And they ought to be ashamed of themselves, but they obviously have attitudes and think who they are. I d rather they just have told me no, instead of doing lousy work, which Im speculating was on purpose given the circumstances. Thanks for nothing.

Auto Care East was helpful throughout the process and even with the small turnaround needed for my vehicle. They went the extra mile inside and outside the car and has it looking brand new. Thank you! Highly recommend

I had high hopes for them to fix my vehicle which was damaged from a large tree branch that fell due to high winds. They were keeping me up to date with the progress via email the entire time (approximately a month). They called me yesterday, stating that they were finishing up my vehicle and going to give it a wash then I could pick it up. Since they close at 5pm & I got off of work after that, they informed me that they could leave it in the garage across the street & I had until midnight to pick it up. They definitely made sure to collect my deductible over the phone. I was asked if I wanted a text or email of the ticket for me to retrieve my car, I asked for both and didn't receive anything. I hadn't realized until after 5pm that I didn't even receive a receipt or anything. My father went to the 2 garages on the block and tried to inquire if there was another way to pick up my car and they said they needed the ticket. Now when I was expecting to have my car yesterday, I have to wait until Monday to pick it up. I left voice-mails and emails. They give their business hours over the phone and said they'd be open today. My father stopped by twice this morning and nobody was there. I called twice and left an additional voice-mail. So as I said, I had high hopes but it seems as if all autobody shops are the same - they're just after the money & don't care about customer satisfaction. I am highly disappointed at the lack of communication at the end of this.Services: Painting, Auto glass repair, Body & Trim

Amazing service, especially for auto repair shop in New York City! Very friendly, great communication, professional. Repairs were done quickly and with the highest quality! They took care of all the insurance paperwork - I just had to settle the deductible. They also performed NY State inspection at the same time as the repairs, saving me time. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience here. The staff is friendly. Their pricing and business practices are reasonable and fair. The mechanics are knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed my issue, ordered a part and had my car fixed within a few days and kept me informed throughout the process.

Auto Care East has done post accident work on my vehicle twice in the last four years. In both cases the work was outstanding. All parts were manufacturer and the finish left me feeling like nothing had ever happened. They were professional and courteous, providing me with timely updates and photos of their progress.

Always a Great ExperienceAfter having my car unsatisfactorily serviced at a nearby garage for a number of years, I have been coming to ACE for the past three years or so and have never been disappointed.This most recent experience was no exception. From the moment I made the appointment (when they squeezed me in to accommodate my schedule) to the completion of the work everything went seamlessly.
