I visited back in May because my car was being extra. And so the engine light came on. I took it to Master Mechanix, and they found nothing wrong. I appreciated their honesty. Fast forward, no issues with my engine. I did an oil change soon after and kept it moving.

I had a lovely experience at this establishment. I was driving from New England, on my way to NJ, when one of my tires blew out an exit away from Master Mechanix. It was late and dark out when it happened, I was unaware for a few miles how bad my tire was. After the loud noise and all the lights on my dash became aglow, I knew I had to pull over immediately. I camped out in the parking lot until they opened at 8am, nearly 6 hours after I'd arrived. Got started on work and everything (I'm 100% remote). Master Mechanix and the tire shop next door worked seamlessly to get me on my way, with 4 new tires in less than 4 hours, and they came in with a fair price. Every employee I dealt with was polite and informative. I am very pleased with the service I received, and would definitely recommend Master Mechanix Inc.

DO NOT LET ANOTHER MECHANIC TOUCH YOUR CAR...until you bring it here for an estimate first. They did a great job repairing damage to my car. And at a price that didn't make me feel I was being taken for a ride. The mechanic I went to first in Riverdale was more conveniently located but isn't driving 12 minutes worth saving $1,000? I certainly think so. I would not take my car anywhere else but MASTER MECHANIX. Unlike the other place with the inflated estimate, at Master Mechanix they base their estimate on what it costs to fix the car. Not what the insurance company will pay. That's how you do business. I highly recommend you give them yours.

After lots of conversation, Tim refused to spend anytime diagnosing the car .. was expecting he would at least be gracious to say we will try to see what we can do when my team have some time no promises after a personal referral from longtime clients he was so disappointing and unkind .. towed my car there after making an appointment when I explained it current problems when scheduling . and he just changed his mind should of told me before all the effort.. after all .. it s ( bad) German engineering not Space X.. just an old BMW with a dead battery and lock cylinder not working AND his assumed diagnosed was incorrect fix was just air leaks

My family & I have been loyal customers to Tim & his superb team for decades. Writing this review of the Body Shop, specifically Omesh (Mesh), for his world-class body work and customer service.As a woman coming in alone to a body shop, I made sure to ask my husband, friends, and family what repair would be needed for the damage to my back driver-side door and what a reasonable quote should be. When I met with 'Mesh, he gave me 3 options that varied in price & time spent. He then made his professional recommendation and gave me time to mull it over with my husband. What I loved about this experience was that 'Mesh (like everyone there) is super kind, he wasn't at all pushy, and he quoted within my expectation of FMV for the work so he gained my absolute trust.Ultimately, we took Mesh's recommendation to order & paint a replacement door because of a seam that could not be replicated/repaired to perfection. He took the proper color code for my car & even when the replacement came in, he called me right away to tell me that the new door was not "clean" aka without imperfection and he had already ordered another replacement. Car was finished within 3 days of dropping it off.Besides the beautiful finished product and Grade-A workmanship, what made this experience noteworthy was Omesh's excellent communication, wonderful demeanor, and trustworthiness. I recently got into an accident and was pretty dazed on what just occured. Once the dust settled and the task of finding a shop to repair my vehicle came up I was comforted to already know where I wanted to take it. Mesh from master mechanix did work on my previous vehicle and always did great work with reasonable prices. They took my car in a day or two after my accident and started working on it right away. I already anticipated getting parts during a pandemic may be tough but Mesh did an awesome job about keeping me updated and giving me accurate timelines. Hopefully I don't have to get any more bodywork done anytime soon but if I do I will definitely come back!Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Best auto repair experience I've ever had. Tim Cacace runs the shop and is a 100% professional. Master Mechanix has a small town, mom & pop feel where they put the customer first. The ONLY car repair place I've ever been to where I wasn't worried about being ripped off. Brought my car in for an accident repair. They did an amazing job, right on time, and even fixed a rock mark on the paint that was not part of the claim. Gave me rides to and from the rental place. Could not more highly recommend this shop.

They did an amazing job . It took long for my door to come in but this was at no fault to this establishment(back order from Toyota ) . They work well and they are in contact with you every step of the way . Recommend 100% , I traveled all the way from Jersey for this place . I ve come twice to Master Mechanix so far, both times without appointments, and have nothing but great things to say about the service provided. I appreciate the people working at Master Mechanix taking care of my car s issues on such short notice.The first time I came, my car was extremely low on oil, and one of my tires had a nail stuck in it. They graciously filled up my engine oil, removed the nail, and plugged the tire. The second time I came, I needed an oil change. Each time I waited no more than half an hour to be seen and was out within an hour. Each time I was charged at an incredibly reasonable price.As a woman, I can also speak on how comfortable and non-intimidated I felt in a typically male-dominated space. With that, a huge thank you, Master Mechanix, for your amazing service. Will see you next time!

Honest people are hard to find; finding a good and honest mechanic is harder. The entire staff of Master Mechanix is friendly, competent and true to their word. Their prices are more than fair when compared to the level of service. Their repair times are much faster than expected and they stand by their work.Above all, it's the honesty that I want to highlight. When I brought in an old clunker, and asked if it was worth fixing, I was told to invest my money in another car. They made no money off of that conversation; it was just good, honest advice for a future customer. A con artist would've promised miracles and taken my money, again and again.

Just recently moved to the area and I'm so glad I found Tim and his team. I have a 2005 Saab that cracked a lower control arm on Thanksgiving eve - horrible timing. I brought it to his team and he informed me of the issue, and told me I had to replace the right side which had snapped but also gave me the option to replace the left side because it was equally compromised by rust. It is rare to meet mechanics like Tim that are transparent about the scope of work who give you options and non-weighted suggestions. They performed the work in less than a day , totally hassle free. I highly suggest this shop.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Came here after getting an absurd diagnosis and cost estimate from another mechanic who was clearly trying to rip us off; claiming a faulty axle would need to be replaced for over $1k. At Master Mechanix, my wife and I were met by Tim, the owner, who asked meaningful questions and didn't make us feel like we were being taken advantage of. Within 24 hours, we got a call from Tim confirming that the issue was simply wheel balance. He fixed the issue quickly and took it out for test drive to make sure it was done right. $50 +tax. This is not the first time and it probably won't be the last that Tim and his staff came to my aid, was fair in price and was very informative with options. The most recent involved a friend of mine who's car's engine light came on, this could mean anything and Most dealers or mechanics will attempt to take you to the bank. Tim sympathized with her situation and not only diagnosed the issue but gave her information he really did not have to and again I don't believe the dealer would either. This is only one of Tim's and staffs unique world class customer experience traits and they are consistent as well as dependable for those of you who have dealt with most mechanics you know what I mean.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I moved an hour away and I still go to have our cars serviced because I know I can trust the Owner s professional advice and decision making for the correct service needed. My family has been going here for 30+ years. Timmy and his crew are very reliable. Timmy does his best to give you the highest quality service. Whether finding an affordable part or doing last minute diagnostics and repairs, he always delivers an honest price and a quality job. Leslie's kindness and customer service at reception are unmatched. They are veey welcoming and all of the mechanics are polite and helpful. I called to get a quote on labor for replacing my front axles and the lady who picked up was rude. I told her I already bought the parts and she was like oh no that s not the way we do business, you re going to have to find someone else for that . Beware that these are the type of mechanics that want to make MORE money off you by OVERCHARGING you for parts. There should be absolutely no problem with bringing in your own parts and using a mechanic to simply install them!

I am a very satisfied customer with the final results after my passenger side doors were damaged in an accident. Tim and and his staff were very professional and friendly. I would recommend Master Mechanix to anyone in need of auto repair or service. I was greeted with courtesy from Tim , the owner and escorted to my vehicle. I will continue doing future business at this shop.

I ve been a customer more than 40 years. How can that be when I first met Tim Cacace, the owner, who now looks like maybe 35? A conundrum for sure. Many, many years of exemplary service by each and every mechanic and Leslie. I ve NEVER had a problem with this shop and I am one of those persnickety people prone to complaining. Totally professional, work performed on time with surprisingly reasonable prices. Can t say enough good things about this shop. Try them, you ll be glad you did.

This review is long overdue. Long story short, if you re anywhere near Westchester and care about getting your car serviced at a reputable shop filled with people who actually care, there s no better place than Master Mechanix. Make the long drive if you have to, it ll be worth it. To put it into perspective, Tim and his staff been taking care of my cars for years now. Never have I been disappointed but have always been pleased at the quality of the work and most importantly the quality of the shop s staff. I first walked in years ago as a naive driver knowing nothing about cars and never did I get treated unfairly or without the utmost respect. Today I ve worked with cars both in and out of the military and Master Mechanix still stands out. Simply said, if you re looking for the best shop in Westchester, you ve found it.Thanks for everything Tim!

Master mechanic worked with my wife and i on our car after it was damaged . There workers are friendly and fast and They provided an amazing service and the car looks amazing and they worked with our insurance company and made it hassle free for us . Always a good visit. Tim & Leslie & all workers are professional and respectful. Wait time for inspection was reasonable given how busy they usually are. Leslie promptly replaced our oil change reminder stickers that fell off our windshields.

they are very reliable you will not be disappointed had a eva system and inner tie rod problem for months no other shops couldn't fix and came here and problem was fix, I will always count on Master Mechanix Inc Team for any work Thank You!

This car repair place is wonderful. The owner, Tim, is approachable and will happily speak with you about what is wrong with your car. The shop will do basics (oil change; synthetic oil is about an $80 charge as of June 2014) to NY State inspections to 30,000/45,000 mile "dealer" inspections (we used Master Mechanix in lieu of the Subaru Dealer inspection - and saved $400 from the dealer cost). They also do body repair work at reasonable prices. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough - for honesty and good price. Tim will explain to you why he is doing the repairs to your car...or why he doesn't think something is necessary - even though another repair place has recommended it. You will not be given a hard sell by anyone at MasterMechanix. What you will be given is honesty - and that is priceless. One more word - for single women this is the best place because you will be treated with great respect - and Tim will not try and take advantage of (perhaps) your less than optimal knowledge of cars. He (and everyone there) will provide honest information - and do the work as promised. Car will be ready when promised...Two advisories: this place is very popular...so call ahead and make a scheduled appointment; and (b) if you choose to wait in the waiting area, be advised it is not a large area...you may want to request a (free) ride to the nearest transit (#4 or #2 trains for example) station. They will also pick you up (for free) at that location when your car is done. I cannot recommend this place highly enough...any business in any field should be run as well and as honestly as MasterMechanix - thank You Tim.
