My family has been bringing our new and used cars to Don Glo for over 30 years for everything from routine maintenance to major repairs. They are a trusted AAA auto repair shop and towing service. Their repairs are warrantied and reliable and I've never had to bring my car back for a problem with a major repair. Thank you for keeping my cars reliable and me safe on the road for over 300,000 miles through 140 mile daily commutes and some of the hairiest Adirondack and Quebec winter storms.

Probably the best mechanic in Yonkers. If you are experiencing a mechanical issue with your car, I highly recommend that you bring it to Don Glo. This was suggested to me by one of their tow drivers, Anthony, and I am so glad that I trusted his word. As a woman, I am always weary when it comes to mechanics because I have been taken advantage of before. I did NOT get this feeling with Don Glo. A truly positive experience all around and if you re wondering, they successfully fixed the issue with our car. An issue that so many other mechanics couldn t figure out. Doug and Fred are beyond professional, kind and patient. Fred explained things to me in a simple way and really did his due diligence on fixing the problem. Most importantly, they are reasonable! Don Glo has gained a customer for life.

I got a flat tire and I tried to remove it but it was rusted on. I called my roadside assistance through Progressive auto insurance and they called Don Glo of Yonkers. A truck came out within about an hour and the friendly mechanic deployed a variety of tools and techniques to dislodge the tire, including good old fashioned hammering, a large chain and a chemical rust remover. Saved me from needing a tow or a visit to the mechanic. The mechanic was quick, helpful, explained what he was doing and made it easy.

Had a surprise issue with my alternator belt this morning and had to get towed in. I was in and out in less than 2 hours despite having no appointment. Doug is a great guy who can hold a conversation, which made the time in the waiting room fly by.

Freddie & Doug are so nice, they take the time to explain the problems with your car in a way that makes sense. They also let you know about any upcoming maintenance/possible problems that you may have with your car. I've been a customer for 30+ years.

Amazing people, READ THE WHOLE REVIEW, unheard of story in auto repair.At first Don Glo just towed our car through AAA; and we had no intention of using them. Then the auto shop we were going to us didn t even take our car once they saw it (although I emailed them pictures: fashion auto body, untrustworthy)Don Glo not only towed our car a bunch extra but then stored it. As we got quotes Doug at Don GloIV just came off as the most trust worthy of any of our quotes.Long story short, these people did a great job fixing our vehicle AND didn t charge us for the additional towing and storage beforehand. Pretty much they had us by the (you know what s) we owed them almost $1,000 just in fees before anyone even touched the car. Then again they did a great job fixing our suv and only charged $1,600 for our Volvo XC90 (waived the $1,000 in towing and storage.)Do yourself a favor and use Don Glo IV. We ve used them again for another vehicle and won t use anyone else.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto emissions testing, Battery

The best mechanic in NY highly recommended very honest reliable and most important worth the money and very very reasonable with price excellent man and does his job with integrity and dignity handles car with car as if it was his own and again the best part very honest please take every car need to these guys excellent and my opinion best in the business

I used them a couple of times over the last two years and they were to me in about 45 minutes. Price is reasonable for Westchester County. My friend needed a tow, so I recommended this company to him and he was also very satisfied.

Great Yonkers Towing Company. Got caught up in a jam on a Sunday needed my car towed to my local mechanic. Mike from DonGlo came through hooked me up sweet gentleman even gave me a ride home after dropping my vehicle off to the mechanic. Make sure to do the right thing and tip these guys Not one dollar but hit the Gs off with . $10 $20 god sees! TIP = TO INSURE PROMPTNESS!!

I just had my SUV towed and just had to write to say that Jason the man they sent to tow it was just terrific he was courteous and professional and he even got my truck to start so I would definitely recommend Don Glo to my friends and family.

Don't let them tow your car cause they left my window open and it was a lot of water on my floor of the car I called to complain frank had a nasty attitude cause it was damage to my vehicle speaker of water all he was trying to do was clean it that's it no repairs of the speaker nothing just clean it and they lied and said my window was closed smh I don't recommend this tow company to no one they don't care about your vehicle at all

Rude and disrespectful. The way the guy at the desk treats wonen is unreal. Will never recommend this place or spend my money here tried to charge me 80 to open my door that the key was in and I was right next door to them
