took my car here after it essentially broke down on the highway and my check engine light was flashing, only because i could not drive the car far enough to go to my dealership s service area. repair guy seemed like he cared & told me he could fix it no problem. 1st red flag was that he wanted payment prior to the service. i picked up my car, drove my car on the highway and the problem came back, so i returned the car. he fixed it again, but once i drove the car the problem returned yet again. i came back for a third time, hoping the $4,000 i spent wasn t all for nothing, but he wanted to charge me another thousand to fix something that was not the root of the problem. when i declined and requested my keys back, he then told me i could order the part elsewhere and he would install it for free - again, a part that was not needed. long story short, i needed a new engine, and he was fixing little things that did not necessarily need fixing. was super disappointed as engines are very pricey & i had already thrown 4k down the drain for nothing.

I would highly recommend this auto shop! The owner is hands on and very professional. I havea classic, 1967 Ford Mustang that needed a ton of work. Dameon was awesome and always available for any issues that arose. I will refer all my friends to this wonderful vehicle service shop. Well done Dameon. .

Professional service. Reasonable price Stopped in for a state inspection and an oil change. I regret not getting the fellow s name who worked there bit he was courteous and really knew what he was doing. The oil change was a reasonable price. Even for my hybrid which requires full synthetic. Highly recommend this garage.

Highly recommended establishment. I come here all the time for anything that is wrong with my vehicle. The mechanic here is so reliable and very polite. Even if a light bulb is out on my car he will change it with no problem. I will be returning to this repair shop only. Very trustworthy mechanic.

I had a check engine light on my vehicle. Went to DCP Auto repair shop. The gentleman came out and looked at my vehicle and explained to me what was wrong with my SUV. Said up front that my issue could be from different issues. I was truly happy with that. He did the repair and I am satisfied with the work and it was less time to fix then what was said on my first visit. I will be back for any issue I may have with my vehicle.

Awesome service!! Drove in for an oil change on Thursday 3/12/2020 which was long overdue. He explained the Importance of getting timely oil changes. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise. Dameon pointed out where my breaks were worn and waring on the rotors. I was able to get them replaced then and there. And get a new battery. I drive a lot and do mostly highway driving so having a well maintained vehicle is important. Thanks DCP Auto my car felt brand new when I drove off.

They were trying to overcharge me as if I was an incompetent Teenager. I Have also never been asked by an auto repair shop for my personal debit card info to buy car parts before visiting here. Will never be back...

charged me $50 to take a tire off to inspect a brake squeal I informed him about. he messed with the auto adjuster and didn't even bother to check his work. the brake is still squealing. never coming back. oil changes and inspections. that's about all that seems the comments say are good.

I go here to get my car fixed and my inspections every year. They have great service and the gentleman there is very professional and reasonable prices. Highly recommended mechanic shop you can rely on.

Look No Further For Quality Honest Auto Work. Look No Further. Damien Is Upfront about The Needs Of Your Vehicle and Points Out Dangerous and Hazardous Situations. I drive a 2005 Camry, Thinking all I needed was an inspection when I had a Gas, Oil and Anti Freeze Leak. It was a Death Trap and After the much needed necessary Repair The Car Runs As Flawless as Ever. I found My New Mechanic. Highly recommend. My family started out with yearly visits to his shop (formerly on Central Park Ave -South) for yearly car inspections. DCP is now in a new location on McLean Ave and I go there for repairs on my VW Eos. DCPs owner, Damon is terrific. Explains all repairs up front and works hard to satisfy customer.

Damien is the best, outside of having to go to a dealership only to maintain my warranty, he does the rest of the repairs, inspections and basic stuff on my and my family's cars

great place for taking care of your care. I got inspected there for the last few years and service is fast and Damon is an honest and very pleasant man. Will never try to to sell you something you don't need. Value the place very highly

Gypsie automechanic with no ASE certification, Backyard negligent autorepair employee. Does not perform repairs by the book. Does not have books. Torque specs, he over tightens or under tightens.Performed an incomplete brake caliper and did not bleed the brakes.The owners only Qualifications are seatching for good reviews, sweep his property and connect a data link, He fears working on cars and does not supervise repairs.Performs incomplete inspectionsDid he raise the vehicle looking for safety issues?NoDid he remove Wheels to inspect brake lining?NoDid he give back your vehicle without these inspections?Yes

This place seems small and the vibes aren't great but you dont come here to party, its a mechanic shop... that being said, I dealt with Damien, he was very real and straightforward, after I recieved my services, I questioned the details and all was explained to me, come here for an honest mechanic. UPDATE: the shop moved to McLean ave.

I have been going to DCP for years for everything from simple oil changes and inspections to other types of work. They are always friendly. They are very knowledgeable and walk you through the work they will do. I highly recommend DCP!

Always get my car inspected here, fast and professional. The work they have done is at least as good as what I have received from dealers and the vehicles I have had work done on come back clean inside.

No wait ? This is the place to visit for a 15-20 min inspection.He will notify you of anything that seriously and rightfully needs replacement. I moved out of town, but I return here driving 128 miles and 3 hours for his professionalism, no appt. Nec, and on the spot.I've been doing business here since I saw the street side sign stating no wait inspections, and that's from 2010.Tell him the big guy from NYFD sent you.
