Why am I not surprised at some of these reviews? Not sure if the owner or employees changed as the past reviews seem more positive than the more current ones. My daughter called to find out how much a car inspection would be. Was quoted about $40. I was like ok not too bad go ahead. Why I receive messages from her stating they charged 40 dollars more to change her windshield wipers! He told her to pass the inspection they needed to be replaced, fine. Here s where the sketchiness comes in. Instead of replacing them with something comparable to the car she was driving (decently priced wipers; on an old car would have sufficed) He had Mercedes Benz wipers put on a 2000 Toyota Corolla!! To think I sent her there since we re relatively new to the area & wanted to support a local business. So much for that. I will drive back to Nassau & stick to the honest mechanic we know there (Check out Gregory s Auto in Island Park IF you re in need of one)Shame on these guys for taking advantage of a naive young lady and her 1st car inspection! Just to make a few extra dollars. The other thing that pissed me off is the fact that he has the audacity to use God s name as his business name and has scriptures on his walls LOL All the while doing such shady things & from the reviews it seems others have had it worse. SHAME ON YOUUU for using God s name in such manner!!! You should really consider changing the name of that Auto shop to Devils Work- that seems more fitting. lolAs from our experience & what I ve read there seems to be nothing Godly about you nor how you conduct business. NEVER AGAIN! First and last time here!!

The shop charges dealer prices but you get an incomplete job in return. Parts were missing parts were not installed properly. I have been there three times I am not satisfied and I don t intend to go back.

Terrible service I went here to get my oil drain plug taken out because the bolt was stripped they told me that because I wasn't doing my oil change to go somewhere else down the road

I brought both Ford expeditions that I own in for service and paid over $5000 and they both have the same issues. If not worse to this day. Going straight to small claims court. I brought the truck back several times, now im having work done elsewhere.

Good place, knowledgeable staff. James is the person you need to talk to - patient and honest. I see reviews of some upset customers, here's something you have to know: When you bring your car for repair or check up, you have to be involved- if you don't love your car nobody else will...*Blackdiamondqueen85 for your information God's way is a busy auto repair shop, not a hookah bar- therefore as any good repair shops it'll be covered in some grease and oils. And if you don't lowball this shop, they will take care of you pretty good.Peace)))

My experience at God's Way Auto Repair was excellent they where caring and was looking out for my well being with my vehicle. They made sure my vehicle was safe enough to drive. Everyone who took part in working on my vehicle was respectful. Especially the person who brought to my knowledge regarding my brakes and rollers. He went way above showing me what needed to be done with my vehicle and I felt confident with his decision. This is not the first experience I had with this gentleman and coming to this repair shop. The title of the shop truely represents the people working there.Thank You!

This place is amazing and Otto is an amazing mechanic and know what he is doing. Otto and his team are a fair priced and do an excellent job! I would highly recommend this shop! I never one had to take back my car for any of the repairs they did and I go there for all my services for all of my cars and so does my family!

Ok, it's small cramped & not the cleanest place but what you get in return is honest & respectful workers with honest prices. They've shown knowledge & dedication towards all my car issues to have it running smooth again. I'd recommend giving them a try for your cars needs.I had to update my review. I've been told before be careful because the majority of car repair shops would be dishonest if they could & unfortunately that's exactly what happened at Gods Way. They quote two prices, cash or credit. With cash they don't give receipts with actual work done written on it. With credit, a receipt is given but it has nothing that was supposedly done written on the receipt either. So if you return(& YOU WILL) you have no real proof of any work done. They'll claim something else is wrong just to get even more money from you. I was told my vehicle's wheel bearings needed repair. After only one day of supposed repair it sounded worse on the other side then when I first brought it in & now the alignment was off! Instead of fixing it they wanted to charge more money. They had already charged double to 'fix' just one side & still had nerve to want to charge more. I haven't went back since & won't. I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD TO SAY about this place. BEWARE of this place & any so called quote as 'a deal' for fixing your vehicle.

My wife and I live in Virginia Beach and have been managing an estate in Long Island since the first week in July. There was a car in need of repair inspection before we could sell it. We had driven by God's Way multiple times and so when we were ready to get the car fixed, we gave them a try. I can say that James and his team there were very fair and professional. They did the work that needed done and the car passed inspection. We give thanks to the Lord for guiding us to them and highly recommend them to others.

I m sitting in Godsway s parking lot. I drove up and asked to speak to the owner so I can explain to him my referral and situation in a whole and was told by Vito Why you need to speak to owner...who is he? We do the work not him . I explained my car was stolen with tears coming down my face and he said So what! What does that have to do with us? When I told him he had an too professional, he said Then go somewhere else. So I m headed to Smithtown General Tire who have better reviews and are more professional.

Had them replace the rack and pinion on my moms car. They messed up something on the abs system instead of correcting the problem they took the lights out of her dashboard so the lights wouldn't show the system is still not fixed

Fast nys inspection. No wait time. Have 2011 F150. Was in and out in 20 minutes. I've never used them for maintenance or repairs.

This is the worst place to bring your car specially if you a female they will take your money and don't do the job right I will never ever get any type of services there again ever again I'm actually taking ato to court.
