I brought my car in for service to John this week & was impressed with their attentiveness, welcoming & dedication to providing the best service. The waiting time was appropriate & the prices are reasonable.The premises were clean, especially the bathroom area.I felt I was treated like family.Thank you John!Keep up the good work!

I brought my car to John after the whole power system shut down and I was afraid to drive it! I had already been to two other mechanics but did not feel confident with their assessment and I was waiting for an appointment at Honda. I am SO happy I went to John! He diagnosed the problem, which was a broken fuse and fixed it that day! I am beyond grateful that I went to him and that they have the skill and knowledge to understand the intricacies of the entire car!

Great experience at this shop!They took my car in right away despite it being busy, and the repair was done very quickly. The pricing was very fair and overall customer service was amazing. I highly recommend this shop!

This shop is a godsend! They are always busy, which is a good sign because they do such amazing work. Took my car in for some work and Jerson explained everything clearly and told me how long everything would take. I got my car back within a week and the price was fair. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the five towns area! Customer service was amazing, as well as the work thank you Jerson for fixing my car!

Every single time i bring in my car , they diagnose the issue efficiently, promptly and fix it very well. They are extremely honest, dont do anything thats not necessary and are very well priced. I find them very well priced while at the same time not compromising at all on the work and professionalism.The staff is very friendly, courteous easy to deal with and really looking to make the customer happy. Im always impressed with this car mechanic/bodyshop ( i've used them for all car related issues !) and highly recommend them . Keep up the good work servicing the community!

The establishment is generally pleasant; however, it tends to become overwhelmed and disorganized. During my scheduled inspection, which was expected to last no more than 20 minutes, the process extended to over an hour or possibly longer. When I inquired about the timing of my inspection, the owner initially responded in a somewhat impolite manner, mentioning their busy schedule and suggesting I seek services elsewhere. This led to an extended wait, along with other frustrated customers who had been waiting for an extended period.

I hate writing negative reviews, and I always try a service again if I had a bad experience the first time.I had brought my vehicle for a rack and pinion replacement a bit ago, and they required me to do an Allignment, which is understandable. However, when I got my vehicle back, it was very clear that an allignment was not performed(the toe and my steering wheel were not straight). Not only that, but when I was doing my brakes, only a day after I had the rack replaced, I noticed both my Sway bar links (important for safety) were broken off and unattached. I came back the next day with my 2 concerns and their response was "oh yeah they were already broken we forgot to tell you" and for the Allignment, they performed it again but even doing so it was still very noticeably off!I don't like to come to conclusions from only one experience but I disregarded their sloppiness and tried them again this past month where I asked them to diagnose an oil leak, balance my tires, and replace my oil. When I got my car back, i inspected the work. It was clear my valve cover gasket was replaced however it was absolutely clear they did NOT balance my tires and they absolutely did NOT replace my oil or filter (it was black and dirty after driving only a mile home. IMAGINE THE DAMAGE IF I DIDNT NOTICE!!!) despite them resetting my oil light, and I still had an oil leak! I since have not gone back, I had an honest and careful mechanic find the culprit of the oil leak (a simple o ring on the oil filter, not 350$ for nothing!), had my oil changed (still clear after a few hundred miles on it not clearly black old oil), and my tires balanced (no more vibrations at high speeds).It's unlikely to have 2 bad experiences with someone, and it be a coincidence.I felt as if they were dishonest and uncareful about my safety and their work. They didn't do their do-diligence as professionals to find the cause of a problem nor perform checks, which, if not done, could result in a safety hazard for the driver.I am somewhat mechanically inclined. Imagine how they have deceived you, and you didn't even know it.I would recommend AVOIDING this shop at all costs because, later down the road it will cost you.

I had one of the most amazing experiences at Johns Auto repair. Not only did I come extremely distressed and worried about the damage after an accident with my car. The Staff especially Jerson made me feel so comfortable and reassured that everything will be ok. It only took 45 minutes and I left with my car looking better than it did before!! I will be sharing the stories information with all my friends and family everyone who lives in the 5 towns should only be coming here for any auto repair work!!!

Good service. Fair prices. Disorganization at times. They will not call you to tell you what is wrong with the car or that it is ready. You must call them.

Growing up in the neighborhood, Johnny s Auto Repair has serviced my family s cars for years and still does.We have had and continue to have only great experiences. They are honest, extremely fair priced, reliable, considerate and the most professional mechanics on Long Island, let alone, the try-state area.Best service and prices!!!

Came in to get some work done on my foxbody mustang. They tend to be busy a lot but I saw that as a good sign. Customer service was great. The owner was very knowledgeable. Laid everything out to me on what needed to be done and the cost i was looking at. I was extremely satisfied with the work. I recommended my friend to come and My friend came here as well. Stand up guy stand up shop. And they do it all. Gonna come back for some body work real soon!Service: Engine repair
