We recently stayed at the condos for 6 nights. While we had a great stay there are a few things that are in need of updating. First, the bathrooms are in need of updating -there were a number of loose tiles and my husband stepped on two carpet nails (poking his feet both times). Also we heard the pipes clicking every night and the walls were very thin(we heard everything from the room next door). It was also very dusty and our dishes weren t even washed one day.

Hotel level is to be expected for round ski resort style for the east coast. Room was dusty. None of our party of 6 could sleep because the pillows are so uncomfortable.

I don't know where these one star people went to but it wasn't this place. This place was spotless. Everything was clean in place. No problems, people were very helpful they went up and beyond for us. Appreciate everything guys. We even took out our own trash so we didn't stink up the placewarning do not let GPS take you up the back roads. The main road to the Thruway is so much easier

I recently conducted our a meeting in Windham and the Winwood Inn was an excellent choice for our lodging. Loredana, Heather, Dan and all the staff were excellent, they made my planning easy. The hotel has the classic style of an older ski lodge with winding hallways and unique rooms. Rooms have been updated and everything was clean and neat. I'm definitely going back.

I would give it zero stars.I was here for a wedding and after lots of trouble getting a room the bride and groom recommended this hotel and since a lot of the guests where staying here too I had no choice. The price of the hotel was outrageous for what you re getting. It was out dated, smelly, dirty and the ac unit was spitting out 80 degrees. There was no WiFi and the TV stopped working.Every inch of this hotel was disgusting.Getting ready was difficult and sleeping for two nights was impossible. This place should be shut down.

Zero stars! We arrive at 2:42pm when they start letting people check in at 3:00pm. Was told it would be a $25 charge or early check in. Decided to wait although the whole place was reserved for the wedding guests and we had to get on the shuttle for the wedding by 3:30pm. They made us wait, gave us the wedding party favors and put us in the absolutely worst possible rooms I had ever stayed in. Painted over everything even light switches. Was dark, dirty and damp. What a dump!

If you enjoy other people's stains throughout your living room and bedroom floor and furniture, this place is for you! You can play "Stain Roulette" with your kids and try to guess if the stain is urine, blood or even semen!Extraordinary rude service and stoic attitude towards customer's needs is standard during your stay too! Finally, why go to numerous delicious eateries nearby when you can eat at the over-priced and mediocre restaurant where they have no idea how to cook a simple chicken dish?If you're looking to ruin your ski trip this winter...let the Winwood Inn and Condoms help you achieve your nightmare.

The rooms are terrible... Smelly, dirty, dusty, and outdated. We checked in, walked in our room, and immediately saw three huge bugs in the bedroom and more in the bathroom. We were using a steamer and set off the fire alarm. The front desk told us we would get 10% off of our bill at the restaurant and the waitress flat out said it was a lie. Not a good place for any type of vacation or pleasant stay.

If I could zero stars I would. This hotel is extremely basic, not clean AT ALL and the staff and management lack basic manners and customer service. Our bathroom was disgusting and there was hair in the bed from the previous guests. The bed sheets were obviously not even changed which is disgusting! We were also met with some of the rudest staff I have ever experienced in any establishment. We will definitely not be returning to stay. Much nicer places to stay in the area with competent and helpful staff. Overpriced and underwhelming.

They only show a deceiving picture of the room for a reason. No bathroom pics on purpose. Bathroom was very dirty with mold all over the place and vent fan was loaded with dust and dirt. No shelf in bathroom for storage. The shower had no pressure and the drain was so bad the water covered my feet .couldn t evenshave in the sink as that drain was as bad as the shower drain. The beds were so old that every time you moved the mattresses made so much noise. They have nerve charging the rates they do. The walls and ceiling are painted in a dark green for a reason. Who paints the ceilings dark green? Shame on Windham for being associated with this flea bag motel ..it deserves no stars and don t waste your time staying here.

The Inn was okay and I ll go into more details about the pros and cons.Pros:Has a restaurant in the bottom but you need to make a reservation online.Plenty of parkingStaff is friendlyKind size bedroom is spacious for a coupleSheets were clean.Family friendly.Has a fire pit outside in the patio. There is a unfriendly mini market on the same street. There is also a gas station on the same street.5 min from windham mountain on a car.The water pressure is nice and the water gets hot quickly. There is a microwave, mini fridge, hot water, coffee, tea and hot cocoa in the entrance. Some rooms have mini fridge that is cold-ish.Check-in is easy and welcoming.Cons:The toilet was not clean. There is no elevator. The walls are made out of paper. You can hear everything so highly recommend ear plugs.Bathroom is small and the sink is outside of the bathroom.Beds are uncomfortable but okay-ish for two - three nights max.Depending on the room you can hear the Highway and the people in the hotel.Overall it was a good experience. I would definitely comeback but please be aware that if you get injured there isn t an elevator.

Two working TV sets in the room and nice small kitchen with all the kitchen utensils from knife fork spoon to plates and glass and cups, different size pans to cook food, refrigerator and electric appliance with coffee machine.Bathroom was very spacious and clean with clean towels and amenities. They have very big swimming pool just across the hotel property with beautiful grass and mountains on the backside. Beautiful view. They have continental breakfast with coffee and juice .Also the have mexican restaurant inside the property with great food and drinks. Will stay again.

The idea of a hotel is to be clean and everything actually to work. The room air conditioner w I as set to 67 and the room actually felt like 85 and humid. The room smelted funny not sure what that was. But the room also was dated. The table in the room was actually peeling. I did not look very hard but only found 1 plug by the bed. The room was clean and the bed probably was comfortable. But I ate the 146 dollars and drove home after the wedding. I felt I would have not slept and did not want to be un- comfortable by sleeping in a hot and humid room.Did I say I got dressed and only dressed in the room and left that is how badly I did not want to stay.....The pool looked nice and the fire pit. But that is the extent. Good luck if you stay here. Unless the spend some money and update the rooms. Best of luck.

What a great experience! We checked in easily and had a nice room. Heather at the front desk was SUPER nice and even came up to help fix the cable that temporarily went out. We spent a few days so got to know the staff pretty well. Heather in particular stood out as very professional and eager to please. Couldn t believe how she made us feel right at home. We saw her interact with other guests and it s refreshing to see people are geniune. Heather really made our experience great and will only stay here from now on when we travel back in the area. The lobby has a nice fireplace and couches to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine on. Breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, cereal juice coffee tea kinda stuff but was nice and convenient. The room was clean and appeared well taken care of. Definitely will go back this winter.... !!!!

Overall had a great experience at the Winwood. The kitchenette was really useful, even for a short visit. The pool was great, as was the Mexican restaurant, and the continental breakfast was more than I was expecting. A few downsides: The whole place is a little outdated. The layout of where the rooms are is confusing, it would have been helpful if the room number included which building. Pullout beds are never that great, but the one in our room was particularly uncomfortable.

Paid $150 for a one night stay midweek- No coffee machine, No microwave, No mini fridge in the room. No grab and go breakfast, No coffee in lobby, NO COFFEE ANYWHERE (you can go across the parking lot and pay at minimart)Very poor (how about NONE) amenities for the price.Would not return again and that is a shame because otherwise seemed liked nice accommodations. Bedding and linens were above average. But the hotel clearly does not value comfort/comvenience of guests staying with them.

The rooms are very nice and the staff are very friendly. I also have to say the beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The views from the rooms are gorgeous, since pretty much everywhere here is scenic. There's also a small movie room and fitness center on site. Would definitely stay again.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, but the inn itself is quite dated and in need of renovation. My room was functional, but not much more than that. The closet only had 5 cheap, wire hangers and one of the dresser drawers had a bottom that was so close to falling out that the drawer was unusable. The on-site Mexican restaurant was nice, though, as was the included continental breakfast.

We arrived at Winwood Inn on 7/6/19 at 3pm. We were told that our room was not ready because they had a wedding the night before whose guests overstayed past check out. As we were there for a wedding ourselves and needed to get ready for 4pm, we were very concerned about the lack of available rooms. The lobby was full of people waiting for a room. The front desk staff said it would be "quite a while before a room was available" and that I should talk to a manager because she had been there since 7am and was tired. We spoke with a manager who said she could have a room ready in 10 minutes. While we were waiting, we heard staff offer another couple the option to shower and change in a room that hadn't been cleaned yet (disgusting, they declined). When I returned to the front desk 10 minutes later, I was again told that the receptionist had been there since 7am, was tired, and feels that the hotel should not accommodate back to back weddings. She had no recollection of our previous conversation, so after giving her my info again, I was finally given a room key.To get to our room, we had to climb a dark, dirty staircase with filthy carpet. When we arrived in room 301, which was dated and musty, I pulled back the bed sheets to find that the box spring cover was covered in what looked like dried blood. We immediately left the room and returned to the front desk where we yet again heard about the grueling hotel schedule for staff. I demanded a refund, as I suspect the hotel had bed bugs. The receptionist said, "Oh, but we were just exterminated." At that point, several people began demanding refunds. The manager asked me to text her the attached photo and said it wasn't bed bugs. Regardless, it's disgusting and I would never sleep in that bed or in that hotel. Many of the wedding guests ended up getting washing and dressing in the bathroom of the attached restaurant. While this was going on, the receptionist came in to the bathroom to tell us she was finally off shift and that we should enjoy the wedding and not worry about writing a review for the hotel because they had a clean inspection from their exterminator. So that's our experience. Lodge at your own risk in this dump.

1. The walls are super thin and I could not have a conversation or laugh with out the room below complaining. 2. Our balcony was not shoveled and I could not stand out there. 3. They had five workers come and clear the snow off the entirr hotel roof with no warning. Sounded like a safari! 4. No microwave, no small fridge, no coffee maker. 5. The staff was not apologetic and looked at me stone faced. 6. You could not walk out the front of the hotel because it was not shoveled. 8. Way too expensive $250 including tax per night.

We were very excited to find the Winwood Inn and Windham Mountain for our wedding Columbus weekend of 2017.Having a hotel with shuttle service to and from the reception meant our guests could be safe.We toured the rooms (completely adequate) and the staff was very friendly.Sadly when our guests started booking the issues began:We as the bridal party reserved and were paying for 5 rooms. But the staff released one room to another guest. The staff allowed an outside member to book a room inside of our blocked out number.Later as our guests attempted to book rooms they were given inaccurate information on availability and pricing. There's more but the biggest issue is that they failed to charge our account for some of the rooms until nearly two weeks after the first charges went through. But then we were charged an additional night for one room we had checked out of, plus a night in a room that we never were in!A month since our wedding and we are still waiting for a refund

Rooms are okay, very hard time expressing when and what you want to the women in the office. Everyone that joined me from my wedding stayed the night. alot of rooms were incorrect, my parents paid for a two bedroom and got a studio. they were told that nothing could be done. Not the best experience same for few other family members. But the shuttle service to and from the inn the our wedding was super helpful

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of my standard room. Food in the hotel's Mexican restaurant/bar was good. It's not far from summer hiking. It's owned by the ski resort, so I'm not sure it would still be such a bargain in the winter.

2 bedroom condo was spacious and perfect for our family of five. Kitchen was clean and views we're beautiful. Breakfast was basic and shower curtains needed changing, but the staff was so friendly.

I really wanted to like this place. After paying $350 For a room I would have expected more. First off, I didn't get the room promised when I booked. Thankfully the woman at the desk was super nice and gave me a different room (but still charged me a few dollars more). The room was clean, however its the first time I have ever been in a hotel room with no iron!I was at the hotel for a wedding at the mountain. When I came back to the room, the bar was closed (we are talking 9:30-10). We were told it would be open so it was a buzz kill. Considering how many wedding guests were at the hotel they probably would have made some money.Their free breakfast is not worth the effort. The woman kept it stocked and full, but for $8 I went down the street and had a great diner breakfast.
