The bed was comfortable. The room seemed clean until I noticed that there was still garbage in the bedroom and bathroom left by the previous occupant.I arrived just after 9pm and was made to wait outside in 16 degree weather while the owner confirmed that my reservation. When I was finally let in, I was shown to a room for which the key had been lost. Luckily, it worked out as I had plans to leave early in the morning, but I found the experience less than stellar overall.Given other great reviews, perhaps I caught the establishment on an off night.

False advertising galore!! We have stayed many places and this is a 1 star accommodation at best! Bed and Breakfast with NO on-site breakfast! She offered us the diner down the street . Stained towels, no cleaning service, king bed was two twin beds pushed together at the last minute based on the bedding squished behind the bed and huge cobwebs. No 24hr cookie jar . Rude host that was upset because we booked through an online site and kept her up all night waiting in her poor health conditions, when we called ahead of time to say we would arrive after 9:30. We were traveling from four hours away in rainy conditions. Save your money and frustration and stay somewhere else!

My friend Amanda and I were road tripping around the state of New York and at the last minute we made a booking at 'Beds on Clouds'. Our room was very small but comfortable and as we were only there for one night this was not an issue. Our Hostess Rebecca was an interesting character and very passionate in her beliefs, this may seem a little too much for some. The house is full of little knick knacks and the photos on the wall show a life of interesting tales. Breakfast was OK.Stayed September 2016

This is a very special place. This is exactly in downtown Windham. The house is very cozy. Our bedroom had 1 king size bed and two twin beds, tv and private bathroom, perfect for a family. There are some little issues that makes you have breakfast outside Beds on Clouds, in any of the restaurants around the area (which are very good!). The owner Rebeca is a very sweet and nice lady; she is not intentionally rude (as I read in some reviews); she is a survivor of the 2nd World War and that is the way she speaks, but if you are patient, you will see how beautiful lady she is. Definitely I would be back with Rebeca. Just consider that it is not a commercial place; it is a little (or much more bigger than little) country house in a town in the middle of nowhere (ski center) with a nice lady as the owner, whose steps are slower than yours and needs a little more time than you and everything is much more slower than in the city. Staying here and knowing Rebeca surely is one of the most beautiful experiences in my life.

One of the best B&B I've been in the US. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with skylights in each room. The property area features vines, apple trees, and other goodies. The owners, Rebecca & Susumu are friendly and talented hosts. German & Japanese background the decoration in the house is pristine and very interesting. Susumu is not only a great talented artist but also a great cook. What a delicious breakfast we had!!! Rebecca is also very special and a great host with lots of interesting stories and very friendly. Everything is clean and well-organized in this B&B. Location is great! At the base of the respectable Windham Mountain. Tons of restaurants all around and cross the street to the best Diner in Windham. We love our stay and we would definitely be back here soon!!

The co-owners (Rebecca and Sato) are extremely nice and friendly. She stayed up late to ensure we wouldn't get lost and to hand over our room key. Breakfast was a great addition and our room was very clean. Co-owners were very proud that the water was filtered through out and Sato's wonderful art. The location was extremely convenient.....less than a mile from the Windham resort. Overall, we had a great stay.

My family and I decided to celebrate my Son s 30th Birthday with a getaway to the Catskills. We stayed at Beds on Clouds Bed and Breakfast. The Beds on Clouds is an immaculate, charming place operated by a host named Rebecca. Rebecca is a warm, worldly person who makes you feel right at home. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and sunny. What made Beds on Clouds unique is the decor. Every ceiling through out the house had a hand painted mural sky with clouds. On the ground level is an art gallery of fine and unique photographs by renown, and late photographer Susumu Sato.Beds on Clouds is conveniently located in town within walking distance of restaurants, bars and Windham Mountain.Overall, our family getaway experience was memorable and plan on returning to Beds on Clouds this Fall. We highly recommend staying there.

I have very fond memories of staying here back in 2010, whilst attending the mountain bike world cup. The hosts were wonderful and served delicious breakfast. One great memory was the agitator (I think that was what it was called) for rinsing all the fruit and veggies before consumption. Breakfast each morning on the deck was my favourite way to start the day. A worthy 5 star rating.

The decor certainly is quirky, but we loved it. The decor is very art deco and the furniture and fittings must have taken years to collect. Good sized rooms with great bathrooms.Friendly, knowledgable hosts who can't do enough for you. Four restaurants within 200 yards of the property mean you can leave your car behind when you go out for dinner. Individually cooked breakfasts, made fresh whenever you want.Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Incredibly RUDE AND DECEITFULI called to confirm my reservation THE NIGHT BEFORE and they refused to honor their contract on the basis that they do not accept dogs. For an establishment that advertises themselves as pet-friendly there is nothing friendly about them at all. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nasty and profane. My husband had to cover my children s ears and take them out of the room because of her awful use of profanity. If you think they will treat you well because you are a paying customer, you re gonna have a bad time

We spent a gorgeously comfortable night at Beds on Clouds last month. We loved our beautifully appointed, freshly clean room, fabulously comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom (for around $100) and our breakfast with your own fresh produce from your back garden. All this, with a brew-pub for dinner just 100 yards away!Thankyou also, Rebecca, for your patience and kindness to my 89 year old mother-in-law!

There is a gallery attached to this bed and breakfast owned by the owners of the bed and breakfast. There was a sign on the door that said open and the door was unlocked so we entered. We were greeted by a dog which was the most pleasant part of our visit. Shortly after a women came downstairs yelling incomprehensibly. She continued to yell at us to not touch her stuff and asked if we were buying anything. When we said that we were browsing she went on a rant about how people always browse and never buy (but how can you buy art without browsing?). After complaining about us coming in we asked if we should leave to which she started pushing us toward the door. As we were being pushed out the door she let the kind dog outside and it began to run away (I would too), then she blamed us for letting the dog out, swearing at us as we tried to help her get the dog back. I didn't stay at the bed and breakfast but after that interaction I would never consider it.

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Rebecca and Susumu went above any beyond to make us comfortable, happy, and well fed. Rebecca gave us very helpful tips on where to go and each place she recommended was better than the last. The bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi was great. The breakfast prepared by Susumu was like eating at a 5-star restaurant. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and these people!

Rebecca and Susumu are easily the most interesting and welcoming hosts I've ever had. They are very talkative and have wonderful stories to tell. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure our stay was impeccable, being very lax with an amazing breakfast (those potatoes were utterly delicious) and calling up local things to see if they could accommodate our late arrival or if we could meet some lovely dogs. Susumu has a very large art collection, and you could really spend days there just looking at all of it. Rebecca made sure that we had the most desirable room available, and they did a marvelous job at making sure our stay was perfect.

This establishment is a bed and breakfast located in Windham. As with everything else in this little town, the inn closes earlyish so if you're arriving late, call ahead. The rooms and small and overly decorated but cozy. The breakfast is phenomenal and the staff is helpful, polite and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. If you're staying in the Catskills area, this is one to consider.

Just wonderful! Great place, great service, excellent food, and our bedroom and bathroom were super comfortable, beautiful, and clean. Staying at Bed on Clouds was a surprise I had planned for my husband's birthday, and our experience exceeded my expectations, can't wait to be back.

Beware. Fraud business. The owner Rebecca tells you one price over the phone, you agree to it and provide your credit card and personal info to book the room. Then at night she sent me confirmation for totally different amount(twice more that the prices she confirmed and you agreed over the phone. I called her right away and she started saying total nonsense, that she never mentioned the original price and that the tax amount that she added to price is 20% from original price. She scams her customers, and although I never stayed there she charged my card. Disgusting

Absolutely Disgusting TreatmentThey falsely advertize themselves as a pet friendly establishment. Only caring about their bottom line, they are willing to deceive customers and breach contract at the last minute to maximize their revenue. They have no reservations about leaving paying customers out in the cold. I would give them no stars but, unfortunately that is not possible.
