I totally understand why Jim and Mike get 5 star reviews. These guys do excellent work and are very thorough about servicing your car. I've only had my car serviced 3 times but they have become my new shop and I will be back many times! Great guys and fair prices. What more do you want?!!

I was able to get an appointment in a timely fashion. Jim was patient and kind as he guided me through finding the size of my tires so that he could order the new ones in advance and have them ready at the time of of my appointment. I got 4 new tires and a wheel alignment in a few short hours. Jim communicated with me via text when one issue came up. Overall, it was a good experience, my car is driving well, and I would recommend to a friend.

My experience at J&J Presto's Service Center was magnificent. They fixed my Lexus as if it were done at Lexus itself but at a fraction of the price. Devon the technician was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. This shop still holds the old school values of pure service.

Another 5-star review indeed. I went to 3 other places in White Plains and North White Plains. They all just did band-aid fixes or replaced parts that did not need to be. J&J took the time to take it all apart and figure out what was really going on. They got our old wheels up and going again. Thank you J & J from J & A.Update - my original review was actually for work done in 2022. We just went back again 10/23, and we had another excellent experience. They understand this an old, second car that we don't want to spend a fortune on. They have earned our trust to not play any games, by not tacking on unnecessary items. Thanks again J & J Presto.

I recently had my SUV services with Jim and his team, and I must say they did an exceptional job. Jim personally took the time to go for a ride with me to understand the subtle transmission issue I was experiencing. His willingness to go ride with me to identify the problem set a positive vibe from the start.After diagnosing the issue, Jim recommended a transmission flush, which turned out to be the solution to the problem. I was relieved because I thought it was a major transmission issue on an AWD. My car is now running smoothly, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's such a relief to find a mechanic you can trust, and J&J have definitely earned that trust. No more bringing my car to a dealer, EVER again.Their pricing is fair and reasonable. Update from original review: I still am thrilled with the service I receive here. I am not getting scammed for service work that I don't need which happens frequently at other shops AND I receive messages from them a few days later just to check up and make sure everything is good. I'm happy to drive here from Danbury, CT.Original review: The father and son who run the place are incredibly friendly. They explain what it is that needs to be done and I never feel like they're trying to scam me. When I've mentioned stuff that I thought needed to be done they looked and told me no, it was still in good shape. Cannot commend Jim, Mike and the rest of the crew enough-always exceptional and trustworthy service, dealing with three of my vehicles in the past few years. Have dealt with multiple service stations in the past and their's supersedes all past experiences.

searched google for mechanics near me for a loooong overdue inspection (and replacement of my front rotors) and could not ignore all 200+ five star reviews! so happy I chose to come here, both Jim and Mike are so knowledgeable and helpful, as for the rest of the team. Jim went out of his way to explain everything to me, show me a visual guide, and even dropped me off home/picked me up once my car was ready! they are just good, hardworking, honest people. that is now my mechanic shop of choice for as long as I m in New York and will be getting gas there for now on :) thank you again to the entire team.

J&J Presto completed a mandatory emissions test on my daughter s car to comply with Illinois license plate renewal. I searched for authorized service centers and based on the 5 star reviews, chose this center. Mike was informative and very accommodating. They did a fantastic job and were very professional and accommodating to a difficult class schedule. I would recommend J&J Presto and will definitely use their services again.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

James and Mike Presto and all the staff at J&J Presto's Service Center were absolutely wonderful, professional, ethical and kind. They talked me through the process of figuring out what was wrong with my car, quickly diagnosed it as a tire problem when I made it to the shop. They then got me an excellent and affordable set of tires within two days and engaged with me kindly and constructively, explaining how I should rotate my tires and do other maintenance-related things going forward. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Thanks so much, guys!

I came here last minute because my car had scrapping sound . J and his son were simply amazing, and very professional. He explained to me in detail, on what needed to be done to my car, and fixed the issues right away. I recommend J&J Auto to any and everyone. Their prices are very reasonable .Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

As a weekend mechanic who takes care of oil change, disk pad and fluid change and a/c gas recharge by myself, I think I have decent knowledge about cars in general. Thus, J&J Presto s is by far better auto service shop than anybody else. They are not only skilled but also honest. They provide excellent services with reasonable cost with clear explanations. Although their shop is not big and fancy, I would recommend J&J to any of my friends who needs good services.

Very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and professional!! The front end of my Acura MDX was making a noise and I had no idea what was causing it. Jim immediately took my car for a test drive and diagnosed the problem. The stabilizing bar end links needed to be removed and replaced. As promised, after dropping my car off that morning, I was able to pick it up late that afternoon. Work was done as promised in a very timely manners. Thanks to Jim and his staff.On 10/28/23 I Returned to J & J Prestos for some additional repair, work and oil change. As usual, James and his son were extremely knowledgeable, Professional and helpful. I highly recommend this repair shop. Their follow up with customers is second to none.

Great place to get a NYS car inspection done. The owner was very accommodating and friendly! I did not have to wait very long either for the inspection to be completed.

Jim is the absolute best. I was stuck out of town over the weekend with a severe power steering fluid leak. A local shop where I was took one look under the car without even driving it into the garage and putting it on a lift and immediately told me I needed to replace my steering rack and pinion. I asked them if it could be just a line and was told that individual lines aren t sold separately and I d need to replace the entire rack and was given an estimate of $850. I drove the car home over an hour with no power steering and went straight to J&J Presto the next day. After getting the car up on the lift, Jim told me the leak was coming from my pressure line (a $6O part) and I wouldn t need to replace the rack and pinion as previously told. Jim is honest, reliable, and a true professional. Do not waste your time or money going elsewhere.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Excellent service! I was running around trying to get my inspection on a weekday afternoon and called J&J Presto s. They were able to make time and provided one of the most pleasant experiences.A special thank you to Mike for his service with a smile. He took his time to answer a few questions and provided a smooth process, which was completed before I finished my coffee from Dunkin Donuts (across the street)!

Great team who are reliable, honest, and friendly. I trust them wholly when it comes to both routine maintenance (oil changes and filters etc) as well as any significant repairs. You just feel comfortable leaving your car with them knowing it ll be taken care of.

I highly recommend J&J Presto s. I ve never had a mechanic take as much time as Jim did to explain the issues with my car and all the work they d be doing. Ultimately it made me feel like I wasn t getting screwed over and I could trust the car would be repaired.

In addition to performing above services, Mike checked my car's tire pressure and attached NY State inspection and registration stickers to windshield which was helpful and saved me time. If you don t know these guys, you should. They are fair, kind, empathetic and great mechanics. I now have our business and personal autos serviced by these guys. I am a frequent flyer. I cannot say enough good things about them. Concerned, attentive, skilled, friendly, reasonable prices, high quality, excellent service. Cant speak highly enough of this service station.
