Gedneyauto service is a place my brother-in-law insisted that I should try it out. That way Kennth does good work. You don t have to keep going back to get it redone and because it wasn t so close to where I live I was reluctant, but now that I ve received the work Been properly introduced to Tom the head mechanic I don t think I would go anywhere else. My car is not brand new it s brand old and he s kept it going. Why are you not sending me to the poorhouse? His prices are fair and his work is excellent and no I m not getting paid for this review.

Not only is Tom knowledgeable and skilled but he is also honest and takes pride in the quality and completeness of the service he provides. It is rare to find such a combination in an Auto Repair shop; I completely trust Tom and always bring my car to him for any type of repair.

Was down in Scarsdale for work when my truck s muffler decided to separate from the rest of the exhaust. This was a result of 3 different exhaust clamps failing to hold my exhaust together. Defeated, and knowing I wasn t going to make it back home without the muffler being seriously damaged, I started calling around to find out where I could get the pipes welded together. Turns out, almost no one would do it, and I couldn t even find any specialty muffler shops in the area either. However, I happened upon Gedney s on Google, and when I called, Tom was super nice on the phone and said he could definitely do it. My coworker and I brought the truck to him on our break around 10:30am, and Tom had it done by 2:30pm when I got off work so that I could go right home. He was very professional and super accommodating and I would definitely recommend him if you re in the area and need a repair. His prices are very reasonable as well! Thank you Tom!Service: Exhaust

I needed the oil change, and the staff helped me immediately. They work efficiently and are friendly. I had a question about my control system, and they just helped out without charging me.Just be careful when driving in and out, as it is located right next to the intersection, check the traffic there.Service: Oil change

I have patronized Tom for about 20 years, finding him after questionable repairs done at other White Plains service stations. His work has been steadfastly excellent and reliable, and very reasonably priced. Dealers charge ridiculously higher rates than he for the identical services. His workers are skilled and unfailingly polite and respectful. My daughter moved to Stamford from White Plains, but insists on bringing her cars back to Tom for servicing.Services: Electrical, Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

I've been going to Tom for over 15 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He is honest and fair, and his work is outstanding for all different types of cars.

My family and I have been going for every auto need for over 30 years. Tommy, and his family, provide the attention and care with knowledge and extremely kind pricing to help us and everyone we know who loves seeing Tommy, having a nice conversation, and when our cars are taken care of, we feel 1,000% better every time. Gedney Auto Service is unbelievably convenient, near all the major highways, i-287, Bronx River Parkway, & Hutchinson Parkway. He and his staff have wonderful experience and knowledge that counts so much. Take it from Professor Jan, my daughters as well, while I now live in The Bronx, I always go to Tommy who knows how to take care of kindness and knowledge for persons visiting and certainly to repair and keep our cars in great condition. My personal appreciation to Tommy as always.

I have used Tom over and over again for the last two and a half years. He is a very honest mechanic and a great person. He is always willing to help out anyone in need. He will never try to get you to get work done that isn t necessary. It really gives me a great peace of mind knowing that I have a mechanic nearby that I can trust. I can t recommend him highly enough.

My husband took our car here for repairs and they notified us that we needed our brakes replaced.We started noticing a high pitched squeaking noise, but had already moved out of state. My husband took our car to another garage which we were then told that this was the worst brake job they had seen in over 40 years of business.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAUGE!!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

I never see the owner wearing a mask and the full service attendents hardly ever seen wearing a mask. And they're in close proximity to masked and unmasked customers. I wouldn't go near this business.
