I took my 2007 Honda Accord for a new radio and backup camera. I am extremely happy with how everything came out. My car's radio area looks brand new with the kit he used. He also gave me the best price being that I had called 4 other places and asked them for the same radio and service. I already knew the radio I wanted since I had done my research. I am glad I went to Harry being that I had read the negative reviews and many people thought he was pricey. I will always say this... you get what you pay for. Don't be cheap and expect to get the best radio or backup camera. Alot of people forget that. I am glad I still gave Harry a chance because after looking around he still was able to give me the best price and extremely good service. I am nothing but happy with my experience there. Thank you Harry.

Harry and his crew were a very professional and easy to work with. Came to him with a bunch of necessary upgrades for my wife s car and they took care of everything quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do electronic upgrades to their car.

Thank you Harry and staff. I had a remote starter installed in my 2013 Mercedes E350. I made an appointment and the work was completed in less than one day, as promised. There WAS a slight electrical glitch as several switches were unresponsive. Harry took care of it in short order and all is perfect. Great job and the starter works perfectly.

Don t ever come to this places, I went to install a rear camera for my car and they broke my door locking system and they didn t fix it. I couldn t locked my door for 3 months until I went to other place.They wanted to charged me for something they broke. The workers and the owners are the worst people I have ever met in my life. Besides they didn t even install the rear camera in the right way because it stopped working after a week.Do yourself a favor and DONT EVER COME HERE.

My wife and I just bought a new Toyota Crown -- a brand new model from Toyota. However, it seemed to have only front speakers. I contacted our dealership and they confirmed that it only comes with front speakers (even though there are cut-outs in the rear doors).So I took the car to Harry at Depot. He offered me a great deal on a subwoofer in the trunk (much needed) and he'd put speakers in the rear doors.When I went to pick up the car, Harry told me that Toyota already had two rear door speakers installed -- they just weren't hooked up. So he didn't charge me for a set of rear speakers -- something he could have easily done and I wouldn't have a clue.I received a great deal from Harry and Depot, and the stereo in my car sounds great. But it's the integrity shown by Harry that was the cherry on the top of the sundae.I will return to Depot whenever I need anything car audio related -- or radar detectors or most anything else.Thank you, Harry.

I have a 2015 WRX 6 speed manual and a few years back Depot auto installed remote start for me. I use remote start every day year round. It works still very well.Thinking of getting windows tinted amd will likely go here.

My total experience at Depot Auto Sound & Security was outstanding.Fast appointment scheduled, work was completed in 2 hours. My power antenna was broken in the car wash.My new part was installed and I am very happy with the results. The cost of the repair was super reasonable.I would not hesitate to recommend Depot Auto Sound & Security foryour business. Thank you!

Guy from local hardware store recommended Depot to us. A bit pricey I thought at first. $600 for remote start deluxe kit and installation. But you are paying for quality. Everything working perfectly! Everything nice and neat. Stress free service. One & Done . Highly recommended. Go in the morning.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Having felt hopeless about replacing my navigation system at any reasonable price, Harry first looked into repairing it.... which turned out to be unfeasible.... but then replaced it with a brand new state of the art unit, with many more features than the original 8 year old factory-installed system offered. And he did this for half the price the dealer quoted me for a refurbished system. He even threw in a couple of upgrades at no extra cost to me. From the day I randomly noticed his shop while driving, to getting it installed, and a tutorial from his installer, it took no more than a week till I was up and running again. I can't say enough about Harry and Depot Auto Sound & Security Inc.!!!

Harry and his crew were on point. They installed new speakers in my 2004 Toyota Solara convertible. Sound is great. Can t tell there was even a replacement looking at the side doors. Harry is no BS. He tells you like it is. And he s fast. 5 stars all the way.

I bought myself a sealed enclosure with 2 subs and an amp. Got everything hooked up and connected properly by these guys. The staff is very professional and an appointment was setup, he explained exactly what was going to happen and in about 4 hours I picked up the car ready to go! I've been knocking to pretty heavy bass for the last two weeks with joy ever since.

I sent my Camry 2010 to install a new Radio stereo with Back up camera. I purchased it in amazon and they installed it for me. I paid nearly $500 to install the radio and the Camera (which by the way the back up camera did not work) I brought my car next day to put another back up camera because the one that I purchased was defected. I bought one back up camera from them. And I brought fog lights that I bought in amazon for 30 dollars, to be stalled on the car too.At the end, the back up camera that I purchased from them has a horrible quality, the fog lights stop working the next day. I started to have problems with the alarm system on the car, they might messed up something. And they took a long time to do all these. They told me one time, then they made me wait for one hour and a half. Very unprofessional!Also, Harry was ok, but as soon I asked him about how is the work going, because they were taking so long to do it and I was so tired of waiting , Harry on his defense said: oh, they are still working. I am not charging you the labor hour, which it is $180 per hour to do this kind of job -. That was so rude, he doesn t need to say that, it is very unprofessional. And he is so wrong, because he sells his products with the whole package meaning that the installation is included with the product. So he doesn t need to say those kind of things. He is trying to pour all his blame on the costumers when he says those things too.I am very disappointed. I strongly suggest to think twice before going to this place.No happy at all.

Giving this place 1 star. As they don t even deserve one star to begin with. I called the business this morning spoke with Harry the owner. Which by phone he asked that I stop by in person. I show up at the shop discuss what I m looking for. When I question his price he tells me maybe I m use to the Ghetto Auto Sound shops. At the end of the day I been doing stereo systems and auto sound in my vehicles since the age of 17. Never have I had someone tell me I m used to Ghetto Auto Sounds shops. In fact one of the shops I was referencing is a long time friend who has since moved to another state. Otherwise my vehicle would have been at his shop getting taken care. Needless to say 37 years in business I have to wonder how. Being that when I walked in the shop he was at his desk playing solitaire. Guess business is not as busy anymore. With that being said I went to another shop who was more than accommodating and has respect for a paying customer. Hopefully know one else will have to deal with this lack of respect for someone who is trying to patronize your business!!

Great pre-visit communication and availability. FAST and very well-priced service. Most importantly, did the job without any problems; others may have hesitated, erred, and/or charged much more. This place is a gem. Would return there and nowhere else.

Extremely disappointing service. Had to wait for the store owner for an hour outside of the store. Didn t give me a call as agreed, didn t pick up my calls, and didn t call me back. He just post a note on the door saying coming back at 4, and he came back at 5, when the store was supposed to close. One of the technicians was kind enough to call the store owner, but the conversation over the phone was very unpleasant.Price is higher than other places. Service quality is very poor. I would not recommend.

Depot auto is a phenomenal shop that has everything you need and all the answers to your questions. They have done all my cars/trucks since I found them between installing subs and amps and tinting my last truck. Now just picked up my new truck that I dropped off to get tinted and it s nothing short of my expectations. Harry is very knowledgeable and as always they do great work, I put my faith in this guys and have never been disappointed. Till next time.

Depot Auto sound has been Around 37 years, obviously for a reason. They are very knowledgeable on products and pair your request with the right products. I walked in asked about car audio and walked out with what I asked for the same day. Their installation is very clean and they don it leave a mess in your car. Very accommodating I must say. I will be going back for further needs in the future! Thank you Harry and staff for the great service! Top notch!

Harry was exceptionally helpful and understanding, it s not just business with him, he ensures you are educated in every aspect with the product you are purchasing and is willing to help you every step of the way even after purchase. Definitely coming back for my car now to do auto start ! His team is great! A huge thank you to the guys who worked on my husbands car!

Chris, my installer, was like watching a real doctor work ....I called him the CAR DOCTOR! The owner, Harry has been there at this location, they tell me, for over 40 years, I can understand why! He's very reliable and fair about the cost and work needing done. My 2022 Coachman Beyond RV on a Ford 350 HD chassis couldn't have gotten a better mod improvement electronic service anywhere else like this! I'm very satisfied with the great service!

This place does great work and gives a fair price. Harry is very professional and can get the job done in a timely manner. I was looking for a place to install a remote starter on my VW and was between two places. I went with Depot auto sound since I felt he been in the business for awhile. I made the right choice and love the install and guidance of usage. The install looks clean and professionally done. I now have a remote starter and will enjoy it for years to come. Thanks Harry for the great service.

Great experience, that I had to go there to have an alarm installed in my second vehicle. The owner was friendly and helpful. The tech guys are very friendly and helpful.. They won't let you go walking away with any questions.

So I unfortunately write this review with warning to any future customer. I reviewed the site and entered with reservation but wanting to give Harry the benefit of the doubt being my family are small business owners and I like to support local business. However Harry does not provide any level of customer service as he is cavalier, speaks poorly of his peers (local competitors) and is quick to tell you great his limited products are and up-sell those who are unfamiliar while yet is unable to deliver on his promised services. I requested a premium unit to be purchased and installed in my vehicle and he didn t even take into consideration the existing features but wanted to sell me his higher end unit.... shame on me for trust the professional . He recommended a unit that didn t (or he and his team couldn t tie into existing systems of the vehicle) and at the rates they charge the system should ve been without any issues, but it was NOT. The reviews I read prior should ve been my warning but Harry attributes them to his court assigned customers.... his guys were nice but as I stated his attitude is cavities and upon identifying issues with his install he didn t return my call for a week at which point I left a message saying I would leave a poor review.... it was then he called my mobile and said he was out of town and wanted me to come back ASAP to resolve the issue his tech created withed the malfunctioning of my vehicle (yes, not stereo install but my vehicle) and upon my immediate reply never heard back! I will be contacting the BBB and share his voicemail, my text and his lack of response. And strongly discourage any one from using any of his services as the older reviews are quite accurate. He asked me to complete his review prior to me leaving the day of install and I declined, thankfully so!Baron

Excellent!I had a 20 year old car that I brought back on the road and Harry hooked me up! He gave me an assessment, went out of his way to work with me as I don t live in Westchester now. And it was all done on time. He even hooked me up with other reputable places to bring my old car back to glory. Awesome place. No wonder they ve been around for 30+ years.
