I've been going to this service station for many years. I was referred to it by a close friend of mine. Mark and Tony are the finest mechanics we're going to find in the area. They are very honest people and trustworthy. Mark never does any repairs unless he explains things to you thoroughly. Their price per hour is very reasonable and if you get your car there early enough, then you can get it back the same day. I've been using them for about 10 years now and I would recommend them to anyone in the area. He is conveniently located off Virginia road right off The Bronx river Parkway just before the dam. The convenience store there is very well received. What can I say? I tip my hat to mark and Tony. It's not often you find good mechanics, great service, and fair prices all-in-one place. Give these folks a try.

I usually get gas and recently in the past month plus have also stopped in to "try" and buy 1 gallon milk, with a preference for 1%, and if not available, 2%. After all, there is a VERY VERY LARGE white sign with red bold lettering sign that sticks past the curb into the road shoulder that caught my eye (I'm surprised they haven't been flagged for sign extension into the road). But the sign only advertises one item "Milk $3.99". and in a print 10X smaller, "1% and 2% only". I have never ever seen 1% milk, and only once able to obtain 2%. The last two times I mentioned this once to the lady and twice to the elderly man behind the counter (he seems to be of eastern European decent), and got various answers: The first two times was that they rain out and that they will make sure to order more, and the last time the man tells me that he doesn't stock it since no-one buys 1% milk? So which is it? It you don't stock it, TAKE THE SIGN DOWN otherwise this is false advertising. If you do stock it, and you run out, TAKE THE SIGN DOWN. I made this request to the man behind the counter and he nonchalantly ignored my comment. I haven't seen it so this should be a clue to order more. I've been in on Tuesday evenings, apparently after the delivery on Tuesday, and on Friday and Saturday. I will try once more after all the promises to give you a chance to correct before I update my review. I thinks don't change, I will start buying my gas elsewhere and in addition, I feel that it is my duty to broadcast the truth on a bigger scale, since I feel that you are now intentionally being immoral and slimy with false advertisement after several notifications. TAKE THE SIGN DOWN IF YOU RUN OUT!!!!

HORRIBLE !!!! let me make this clear i said HORRIBLE !!!! i bring my car in on monday 8/1 before lunch time i called previously explained my car is over heating and turns off when to hot , the owner or whoever runs it which i dont have his name but will find out and post it says bring it in , i go to the shop and show him my car he says it might be several things but i wouldnt be sure until i check it will probably need to stay the night , (no follow up that night) so i leave the car, on tuesday 8/2 no call or follow up so i call him around lunch time he says im replacing the thermostat to see if its the issue will let you know before end of the day does not call does not follow up , car had two days at the shop , wensday 8/3 no call!!! no follow up!! i call at 1 pm and demand to know what is going on with my vehicle because no one calls or says a word to me he goes off on a rant on not to tell him how to run his buisness and screaming on the phone for me simply asking for a follow up on my car!! i went to provide buisness not a hand out this place is a waste of time very unprofessional and do not care to work !!!

Very friendly staff Mark is honest and upfront. Went for an inspection and they accommodated me into their busy schedule. These guys care about their customers and I will highly recommend them.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Due to caliper bolts not being tightened after replacing brake pads and rotors, detachment of caliper bolt occurred 3 days later. This happened while on major highway and we had to be towed to another mechanic where they confirmed that the front left upper caliper bolt was missing and the lower caliper bolt was loose. This wasn t just a mistake, this was due to carelessness. When talked to Mark, the owner of A & S Auto Service, INC., about the incident he thought it was only reasonable to reimburse the 57 dollars it costed another mechanic to replace and TIGHTEN bolts from their poor work. I insisted that I should also be reimburse full labor cost from their carelessness and compensated for the damage done to rotor due to the loose caliper. His attitude regarding the situation was nonchalant, repeating that it wasn t that serious and drain plugs and screws are left loose all the time, no harm done. I would not trust this mechanic nor do I believe he should have a license to run a business given the attitude of a careless mistake that could have resulted in a fatality. He refunded me $150 (half labor+ other mechanic cost) from nearly $600 bill to replace brake pads and rotors.

Had my vehicle inspection done here. They did it while I waited and the whole thing took only about 5-7 minutes. Very satisfied
