Had just lost my truck in a car accident and had started looking for replacement truck. Its been a rough experience trying to find anything until i found upstate auto. From the mintue i stepped on the lot I could see the trucks they had were amazing. Even being used they had found the cream of the crop. No rust. Trucks that have never seen a ny winter. The staff are amazing as well. They do not pressure you to buy anything like other dealerships and are fast and knowledgeable about every vehicle they have on Their lot. This family run dealership is definitely a must for me going forward and highly recommend it to anyone else needing a quality car or truck

Upstate Auto has great employees and great used vehicles ! We have had horrible experiences at other places with used cars. Not at Upstate their upstanding and honest employees took the time to explain the process and knew everything about the vehicle we wanted to purchase without even looking in a file or on computer. They not only found us the truck we needed but our son as well !!! Thank you so much !!!

Nicole was great to deal with and responded to phone calls and texts within 5 minutes of being sent. She made the buying process go very smooth and made sure that I was happy with everything on my end.

My kids drove 2 hours to test drive a truck. which was overpriced anyway,Texts were sent back and forth to the the dealer. They asked if my sonneeded financing and he told them yes. Then upon getting there to test drive they were told they couldn't test drive because of age? My daughter is 21 and my son is 17. Could've let my daughter test drive it I guess. Common sense...Bottom line is it would have been purchased if he liked it by me (his father) for early graduation present. But they chose to discriminate and prejudge...I was given the we're a small family business bologna we don't have time to let your kids test drive without a loan or cash in hand? So make sure you have a loan or cash ready before you go, don't just show up and expect to test drive anything, before you make a complete decision. Communication skills F. I mean , do you even like selling vehicles? Cuz you most likely lost this sale he really liked that truck. And as far as his (their) experience driving which was an issue (again prejudice)- he was trained by a professional cdlA driver/trainer. He'll and my daughter will drive anything in your lot better than you can.

First time buying a vehicle here and the experience was great! The vehicle was older but the price was right, it had a few lights which was brought to Nicole s attention prior to a deal, it was acknowledged and taken care of in a timely manner. The whole time I was kept in the loop as to what was going on and the minute it was ready I was notified. When I arrived they were even washing it which was appreciated! Thanks

Jonathan and I are very happy with our car.. Nicole,Scott and Maryanne are very helpful they talked us through the process, how to go about getting the car and they were very patient,Understanding, friendly and a family business. They worked easily, quickly, and amazingly with me to ensure a new vehicle for me. They held the vehicle as I drove to get it. They worked with me in understanding everything. They sold me on getting a walking desk too!

A great dealership. No pressure. Treat you like family. I purchased a Trailblazer and it had a couple small issues with it. They made the vehicle right. You'll find a good selection of vehicles to choose from. I will go back again.

We just bought Toyota FJ Cruiser love it , We loved the (Family Own business)very professional and warm people. All questions about the vehicle were answered and the vehicle was ready when we arrived.

When my son was considering the purchase of a 2009 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck, he asked me to look at the truck with him.We drove the 70 miles and when we arrived we were impressed by the quantity and quality of the vehicles on the lot.We were greeted by John, who introduced himself and asked if we were here to see the truck. After we inspected the vehicle, John answered all of our questions and offered us a copy of the truck's CARFAX. John handed us the keys to the truck and we took it for a test drive.Because of the truck's condition and what we thought was a reasonable asking price, we decided not to haggle. My son left a deposit contingent on financing.With loan approval, we picked up the truck on Saturday. We were assured, that all four faulty tire pressure sensors and right directional lamp had been replace.Overall, it was a pleasant experience, easy to get to, reasonable prices and nice folks.

Nothing but nice things to say about this dealership. Was in a rush yesterday due to the weather coming and not having a vehicle, they were very accommodating of my time crunch of me driving almost 4 hours to their dealer. They stayed open 4 hours past their closing time to make this deal happen. Vehicle was exactly what I had hoped, no issues at the moment and I couldn t be happier with my decision. The owners noticed from my ID that I am a veteran and they made sure to thank me for my service and also took some money off the final price for me! Great example of people helping people. Couldn t be happier, thank you again guys! I will definitely return if I need another truck.

I thought I was going to be leaving with the 11' King ranch expedition....Pros-1. Willing communicate through email/text2. Gave estimated trade in value before seeing the car3. (Although 1.5 hours away) conveniently located4. Didn't seem pushyCons-1.First sound after starting vehicle was loud clicking noise from a faulty hot to cold HVAC door (bad first impression if you don't know what it is)2. Monitors were not complete(is a check engine light going to come on?)3. Had snow tires installed (although it seems like a good thing, you'll have to buy tires in the summer.4. After turning on the heater you could smell a mild smoke smell indicating it was more than likely smoked in. (Not a huge deal, they make scent bombs for that)5. When asked to see the vehicle on a lift, the sales gentleman didn't say no, he said more than likely the lifts were all full. Before the conversation could continue a lady butted in and and somewhat rudely stated that customers were not allowed in the shop anyway due to insurance reasons.Takeaway:1. That lady should mind her own business she just caused a lossed sale.2. Are they hiding something or selling junk vehicles, for which no one is allowed to look underneath a vehicle?I've bought a fair amount of cars and have had a lot of work done. Before my 2 years of experience as an auto technician I've been in a lot of shops looking at and under vehicles for many reasons and not once was told no "insurance." I've also showed customers vehicles on lifts for the last 2 years sales and service related. I'm not buying a vehicle on someone else's word that everything is sound and was fixed.Edit: they don't open until 9am and I've received 4 phone calls in 5 minutes one being "private number"

Bought a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan Gt from Upstate Auto Gallery absolutely love it. Had a few minor issues with it and they had no problem fixing them. They worked with me to fit the vehicle in my budget. The staff was very courtesy and friendly. Obviously if your buying a used vehicle with no warranty, which they do offer or you can get a warranty from a 3rd party you should do a little homework for yourself. I would recommend them. Thanks again for the great van. A++ Rating from me.

Super friendly when I bought the car! I love it! 16 days after the purchase, I had an issue recently and called them as they advised me to. They were not so friendly and very defensive upon the cop (that was with me at the time of the incident) asking if they could pick it up and have it checked out, and tried to say that the NYS Lemon Law doesn t apply even though it had only been 16 days. Regardless of what the warranty they give you says, you are protected under law. I took it to someone else and had them check it out and everything was luckily fine. Just something to think about. Thank you for the car!

Bought a Crysler Pacifica. No lights came on during the test drive. Sure enough 2 days of having it the check engine light came on. Got the sparks and coil packs changes. Few weeks later light goes off again. Blown head gaskets and a cracked head. Has cost us to much money to get it fixed. Made a mistake of trusting getting a family safe car from this place. Not nice when it keeps throwing lights every other week. We will never go there again!

Just recently bought a truck here! Great people to do business with highly recommend going to upstate auto gallery for your next vehicle! Couldn't ask for better customer service from all the questions asked to pulling out with the truck I purchased!

Don't change your mind with one of their vehicles, they will keep your deposit. My husband and son met with the owner of this business on a Saturday by appointment and put down a deposit to purchase a vehicle because the owner told him how quickly it would be gone. After coming home my husband and I discussed more and decided it wasn't the right vehicle for my son. On Monday Upstate Auto was notified that we changed our mind. After being hung up on several times, they finally told us they weren't giving us our deposit back even though the vehicle we were going to purchase has already sold. Do not do business with this dealership. Judging by the other reviews, seems like I would of been out a lot more money by buying one of their vehicles.

Purchased my third vehicle from Upstate Auto Gallery about a month ago. Unlike the other two, there was an issue when they were prepping it for me to pick up. Well, Scott got it fixed for me but there was a little delay in me taking possession. That's my worst story. Anybody who's crabbing about the integrity of this place or the employees is way off base. Every vehicle I've purchased over the last 5 years is still running exceptionally well. They should get 6 stars in my book. I won't ever buy a vehicle anywhere else.

The buying experience was simple enough. The vehicle is alright, however after having some check engine issues and bringing it back. They only changed the spark plugs and pulled out my grounding strap. I had a friend replace it and the lights on the dash are still wonky, but not really intent on going back so they can rip out more things I find concerning. They're good until you own one of their used cars.

I absolutely love my Truck but more importantly I love the people that run Upstate Auto Gallery. I bought a Silverado that was clean, detailed and has run flawlessly since I bought it. These people make a vehicle purchase a pleasant experience. I truly felt like I was part of a family. I stopped in to address a small problem (caused by me) and Scott took the truck directly into the Garage and addressed it within 20 minutes and had me back on the road. I will never purchase another vehicle from anyone else

Drove all the way from Florida for a snowmobile trip up in the adks. My girlfriend decided to tag along last minute for the trip. I had a few sleds to choose from but I got a good vibe from Scott so he was my first stop. I didn't have to go anywhere else. The sled was everything he promised and more. He was patient as I went over it, and Everything checked out perfect. Thank you scott!
