Called for a rim told me to send him a picture . So I do. 30 minutes later I call back and he rushes me off the phone hanging up on me saying he's busy hell get back to me . I'm a customer . Witch are soposed to be top priority. 11/16/23 fire the man answering the phone seems like alot of people are complaining about him . He's a peice of work and shouldn't be in customer service he should be in the back of the shop with his mouth

Called about an engine for my Toyota fj cruiser , they had a Tacoma with the right engine , rented a pickup from U-Haul in the Bronx and made the drive on a Saturday I tried to get there early as they close around 1 I believe , once I got there nick mentioned I could have called them and they would ve started taking the engine out for me , no big deal I went for into town for breakfast was winter time but an unusually warm day , beach was close so I went for a little walk , came back to the yard and the motor was almost out , payed for it and they loaded it in the back of the truck , I ve since had it installed and put on 20k miles since , my truck drives like new , motor had 65k miles on it , for me was a great experience, I will definitely try them next time I need a part

Came here on a Saturday hours listed are 7:30-1 myself and multiple people waiting at the gate called multiple times no answer that s a hour drive wasted gas etc. I usually would come during the week but I work all week came once needed a 5$ part guy wanted a absurd amount for it.

Went there to pick up a black hood and steering wheel was told they had it but made him double-check because I did not want to go all the way out there. I was coming from Nassau County. When I got there of course they didn't have both items. but they had a hood off another truck that was a different color and going to need Paint gave me a reasonable price on it but was told I have to take it off. Also got a center console. While I was taking the hood off I noticed the light bezels that I could use so I took them off as well brought them back to the office. I was settling up my bill and getting the price on the bezels and engine for a different project. I told them how about 10 bucks for the bezels he told me I was crazy so I decided not to take him. And the bad taste in my mouth made me not want to get the engine from them. While I was loading out my truck I decided to look up the price of the bezels. turns out you can get them for 10 bucks on Amazon plus $5 shipping. Went back in to tell him this but still wouldn't sell it to me. Didn't even give me a counter offer. I personally feel that he should have tried to make it right for me coming all the way out there and it wasn't like I was asking for a discount. They're better junk yards in the area to do business with.

Following my previous negative review, I have to amend my view. Needed a transfer case for a Jeep KJ, and Kevin was right on top of it.Though my previous experience wasn't good years ago, there was fault on my part as well. Despite my protest Kevin went out of his way to make sure things were right in his eyes. A big thank you, and my sincerest apologies for letting a bad situation get out of hand.They wouldn't be there this many years if they didn't know what they were doing. Thanks again! See you for parts going forward...

Great service had just what I needed and ready when I arrived. Office personal was very help full at keeping me updated on when parts were available for pick up and got a great price too. I deff recommend this place to all auto repair techs who want good working parts. I know I'll be back

Don t waste your time here! You get the run around on when your part will be ready, then if you re LUCKY, you re part won t be defective! There s a reason it s call it a junk yard. They sell you JUNK!In the past, I was given 2 bad engines in a row from this company (which is such a disorganized mess, I cannot believe it s actually a legitimate business). That s 2 installations and removals I had to pay for, that I wasn t reimbursed for. They told me the engines were tested good and guaranteed. Well i guess not! Why waste my time and money telling me you were selling me a part that is good, when they have no idea if it s good or not?!After buying the first engine from them, having my mechanic install it and discovering it was In even worst condition than the one i was replacing, i brought it back and was told they would give me another one they had. But i was told It was still in the vehicle in the yard. I was then given the run around for a few days while i patiently waited and called and waited and called, until they finally had it ready for me to pick up. The engine looked terrible and needed many parts swapped over like the oil pan and valve cover, which came damaged on the engine they supplied me. I brought that engine to my mechanic, he changed out all the broken/damaged parts, then installed the engine in my vehicle. Well go figure, this engine is also no good! I was furious! I called the westhampton facility waited on hold forever, then finally explained my situation to the employee who didn t seem to know much about anything. Then i was told to drive out to the Southampton facility to see Kevin, where I was told they had the engine i needed and if I could drive out there, I could pick it up that day. So i drive all the way out to Southampton, where i walk through a disaster of a mess to get to the office. I asked for Kevin and said i was there to pick up my engine. I was then informed by Kevin, with a disrespectful, overbearing attitude, that he knows nothing about my engine and furthermore doesn t know why i was sent there, because he doesn t have that specific engine at his yard . So i drive BACK to westhampton. What a joke!Now the fun came when I wanted to get my money back. I was first offered store credit and told that was my only option, as it is their policy. He insisted I give them more time to find me another engine, which i didn t have time for, nor did i trust them not to give me another bad engine at this point. I insisted on my money back and after some back and forth with the thug behind the counter, i was reluctantly given my money back.I wound up finding an engine at Phoenix Auto Wreckers, which I was able to hear run before I bought it. They guys there were far more professional than JV. I ll write it off as a lesson learned. I should have known by the outward appearance of the yard at JV when I got there initially, that thhe business was likely run the was they yard appeared.... a disaster!

The place says it closes at 4:30 pm, I came from Brooklyn and got here at 4:01 pm and the doors were open but they didn t want to give me my parts. The person that I spoke to was very rude. Don t waste your time coming here.

Spoke to a gentleman over the phone when I got to the place the gentleman with the braids in his hair was very rude not to mention also told me over the phone that they had the part all I had to do was common pick it up traveled from patuak to come the find out that I had to leave a deposit and I could pick the part of tomorrow That's bad business will never do business with them again

Nothibg friendly about this place. Came here lookibg for a part and was told "there over there" in a dismissive tone. Workers everywhere but no offers of help or direction.

Unprofessional. Asked if the company took car tires. "No, we do not take care tires." Then I asked if there was a business in the area that would. "I don't know but I know we don't." Then I heard the dial tone.
