AMAZING!! First time experience. I had brakes, oil change, state inspection, fluids changed, and tires rotated. Dropped car in the morning, done by the afternoon. They even offered me a ride to work. My car now drives like it is brand new. So smoooth. Great customer service as well. Steve was great.

When on a trip from South Carolina to visit family on Long Island, had a brake system breakdown and luckily was directed to Mark's to fix the issue. Car was taken in at 8 AM and was completed at 12:30. Repair was perfect and pricing was very fair. Would definately return for service if in the LI area.

Referred here by the dealer I bought my car from. It's VERY busy here but they do know what they're doing. Fixed a recurring issue with an engine light coming on that other repair shops couldn t. I would definitely recommend Mark's Auto Repair.

Service was perfect, came in with a tire that had a nail in it @ 815, and they had me out of the shop by 845. Told me I needed new tires and proceeded to give me an exact price quote with no pressure to give them the business right now but letting me do my own research and think about it. Mechanics that operate without giving you any pressure are definitely trustworthy and not just trying to take your money. Will gladly keep giving them my business.

Brought car in and waited over a week just to be told to diagnose an issue with transmission is $1200 NOT including fixing it. Charged $220 for my battery and starter to be installed which is just 7 bolts and requires less than an hour of work. Majorly over charged and still have a broken car that I will have to bring somewhere else. Waste of time and terrible service.

One morning I saw that there was a nail in my tire. I work in a school so I called Mark's Auto during my lunch break asking if they could fix my tire. The receptionist on the phone was extremely sweet and said it was no problem. Everyone there was great and I was out before I needed to get back to work. Will definitely come back!

Called up about removing a screw from my tire, was told to come on over, no appointment needed. Was in and out within 10 minutes, exceptional staff and workmanship. Will be back to replace tires in the futureService: TiresService: Tires

I ve relied exclusively on Mark s Auto Repair over the past five years to keep my 2000 Corolla safe and reliable. I have found that the work has always been accurately diagnosed and carefully performed with good attention to detail. Mark and his team are by far the best mechanics I ve had in the last ten years. Service is always professional and prices are reasonable. Most importantly, Mark has never told me anything that wasn t true. Mark is very easy to work with, and I m consistently impressed with how much care he is willing to put into my car. It s rare to be able wholeheartedly recommend a business as much as I feel comfortable recommending this one.

I went early to be the first customer there and I was greeted immediately. I explained to Mark that my car was overheating and he did not hesitate to take me in a customer. He kept me updated every hour to advise me what he has done thus far. Within 4 hours, I was out of there. (Had my radiator fan replaced btw.) He also fixed my flat tire because my sensor was on when I arrived. Freddy was super kind and offered me coffee and a cool drink. (It was hot outside). All in all, Mark knows his job and works with you. Their hospitality exceeded expectations. I will definitely visit again for more work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am really thankful for them. I asked everywhere to see if any auto repair shops are willing to change my ballast. Mark and his staff are very knowledgeable and they changed it in no time. I told them I need to leave for the weekend and they honored the time estimate that they gave to me. They truly did a wonderful job. 10/10 recommend this place!

I couldn't be happier then with the honest exceptional service I received from such knowledgeable mechanics. You can't go wrong if you come here. You can trust these people. They will not rip you off. They're fair with their pricing. My car drives like new. They work on all kinds if cars. Even if your not from the area if you need a new mechanic that won't screw you over then this is the shop you need to be in. Thank again marks auto body.

As a young woman I am frequently swindled and over charged whenever I take my car to a mechanic. But a couple of years ago I put out a call on Facebook for friends to recommend a mechanic in the area and when several of them commented "marks auto" that's where i took my car. The first 2-3 times I took my car in, Mark didn't even charge me for what he did because it was usually so simple like turning off a check engine light etc. I moved down to Washington DC about 2 years ago and I still take my car to Mark's whenever I'm home visiting family on long island because he's the best around!!! Really can't recommend this place enough. Honest, fairly priced, great mechanics!

1/1/2017Mark and his staff are wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about them. They're meticulous, honest, and the work on my BMW Z4 has always been impeccable. The charges are reasonable and I trust their opinion completely. You just can't beat this place for honest and reliable service. They bend over backwards for their customers and tell you upfront what's going on with your car. Great work!! It was such a pleasure to do business with everyone at Mark's Auto Repair Shop. They did a great job on the maintenance service of my BMW Z4. It was their friendly, honest and great customer service that I will always remember. I highly recommend Mark's Auto Repair Shop to anyone in need of vehicle services and repairs.

Had a slow leak and needed a quick repair. Never have been here before, stopped by and they were extremely helpful in reparining my slow leak. Which included removing 4 stuck valve caps(learned my lesson)Even better, they refused to charge me for the repair. I generally lease my vehicles so any repairs are normally done under warranty. But, if I'm ever in need of non-warrenty work, they've earned my business.Very grateful for their assistance.

I know my sister left a review, but I wanted to as well since Mark works on all of our family vehicles. He has always been honest, fair, and professional. Before I started using Mark's auto and serviced my car elsewhere, I felt taken advantage of by other garages. I have never felt that way here. I am always recommending him to others.

Mark is a really easy and pleasant person to work with. He s very friendly, and honest. As a woman, I m always nervous about getting ripped off at auto repair places, but I m extremely comfortable trusting this shop. I ve been using Mark s Auto Repair exclusively for a few years now, and I m not looking back.

Marks Auto Repair was recommended to me by a neighbor across the street. I just moved to Babylon and when my car had issues Mark was VERY accommodating. He drove to my apartment to charge my battery and diagnose the problem then took care of my car THE SAME DAY for a VERY reasonable price and I was in and out. HIGHLY recommend Marks Auto Repair.Service: Battery

I have never met a more honest mechanic than Mark. My boyfriend (who owns a landscaping business) has been using Mark for years and recommended him to me initially for his excellent work (on jobs ranging from engine replacement to routine maintenance) and his extremely reasonable prices. So, today I brought my car to Mark's Auto Repair for service.I have a BMW that had a bad thermostat and after diagnosing the problem, another local mechanic (that I've been using for many years), gave me a price that was a full hundred dollars more than Mark did. After leaving the car with Mark for a short time, he called to inform me that the part I was asking him to replace had a service notice on it and the repair should be covered under warranty.So, I called BMW (who initially didn't acknowledge that the warranty existed) and based on me explaining that I knew the details of the service notice about the warranty (that Mark shared with me) they agreed to do the warranty repair work at no cost to me.In over 30 years of car ownership, I have never met a more honest mechanic than this (He lost hundreds of dollars by telling me about the service notice ....rather than simply completing the repair I requested). I absolutely plan to use him for all my future work and would highly recommend that anyone seeking auto repair contact Mark's Auto Repair.

I just discovered this repair shop in West Islip. Mark and Freddy and all the people there are incredible to deal with. Their quality of work is absolutely excellent. I can be a difficult customer, I appreciate great service, and these folks truly exceed expectations. I would recommend them to anyone. Top notch to say the very least.

The first time I went there (I thought they were an auto body repair shop) even though they couldn't take care of the damages they didn't charge me to strap up front end. I gave the (well from my perspective)kid 50 bucks, well deserved. I didn't need any repairs for a while. A few months later when I did I felt like they were actually trying to help me and not just take advantage of me.I brought my work van there today and I know they'll do the right thing again.For all of you out there... I swear I'm not a relative or a personal friend, I'm just a customer who is being treated the same way I treat my customers. Oh I clean drains, for whatever that's worth. It's nice to see knowledge and respect towards the customer's.

Always have a good experience at Mark's Auto Repair. Have been going there for at least 7-8 years. They've fixed a 92 and 03 Sentra every time I needed a repair. Now they do a 00 Audi A4 and 03 G35. It's hard finding a good mechanic but I did.

Mark and the whole staff are great. They are kind and professional. Top star customer service. I have had bad experiences with some auto places and because of that I have trust issues, but I trust Mark and the guys to do the right thing.
