You can probably shop around for better prices but these guys have helped me out more than once when I've been in a pinch. If they have time, they will take you right away and do a good job. One thing they can do to improve is maybe clean up the area a bit. There is lots of junk sprawled around when you drive up and I am always worried that after they fix my tire I will get a flat from running over a piece of junk as I exit. Hasn't happened yet but that would be the only point of improvement I would point out.

They offer a complete repair and tire service. They are professional and honest with no hidden surprises. The entire staff are courteous and full of knowledge. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Went there to fix a flat tire. They said I needed a replacement tire, was ready for the upsell, but they came through. Gave me a good used tire at a reasonable price. Service was great.

I always changed my tires here at Hempstead tire, got my inspections done there also, but I rate them 0 stars , wicked business practices, I went in for heavy duty inspection, the gentleman wanted to sell me tires meanwhile the day before I passed a roadside and annual dot inspection, I went ahead and changed the three tires he said I needed to change, came back, now they cannot do an inspection for me because I didn't purchase tires from them. Will take both my trucks elsewhere.

My visit to Hempstead tires was great. I had to get an inspection and I got there early so that I wouldn t have to wait online. Well there was no line and I waited about five minutes and it took about 15 minutes for the inspection. The gentleman who did the inspection was so nice. He did the job quick fast and in a hurry. I went inside and paid and that was quick fast and pleasant as well. Love Hempstead tires.

Considering tires are the most important aspect to safety of driving you would think a tire shop would be a place you'd trust your confidence in. You would think they'd take you seriously. Unfortunately, having tried Long Island Tire on SEVERAL separate occasions I have had a feeling of under appreciation. Lack of care and attention from one of the owners (not Jack/Jake). The older man there makes promises he cannot keep and seems very judgmental. If i could i would take back the time I considered this place and really reconsider. Please look for a tire shop that takes your requests serious and makes you feel like they care. This place under current management(older man)is not it. I really wanted to give them a chance and I did but this is not the place to go.

This is the best tire shop for big trucks. I know owner long time ago. He is very nice guy. Always helpful if you have big truck I recommend this place to everybody.

I wish I could give them 1/2 of a star because this place really is the worst of the worst. They are not skilled and they definitely try to avoid traces of their poor ethics and workmanship by asking customers to pay cash. I when in with simple exhaust issue and $1100 later I left with a worse issue and no receipt because they refused to provide one. I will be going to the BBB and the IRS (tax evasion) on this company. THEY SUCK! DO NOT GO HERE!

I have a diesel pickup truck and these guys are the only ones around me that can service it. This is the third truck I have brought to them over the years and I always found them to be honest and fair and their prices are reasonable. I recently had my truck at the dealer for a recall and they offered to change my fuel filters (two). They quoted me close to $500 to do the job so I took it to Hempstead tire and they did it for under $300.

We always bring our Liberty Fence and Railing trucks to be serviced here.. Also when we get a flat tire on a truck, they repair it quickly at a fair price. I have found them to be reputable and very dependable.Being a business owner for the last 40 years , I appreciate their service probably more so .

Mike and his guys are professionals. I needed two tires mounted for my snow blower and no one else in the neighborhood would do it, they did. It's nice to see a business take on work that is within their competency and not just whatever is quick or easy. Will definitely be back for other wheel related needs.

My moped broke down on long island expressway. I called Hempstead Tire and Jesse offered to drop what he was doing and pick me up asap. I now have the best tires you've ever seen on a moped. Highly recommend. The lady who works the legal dept is a darling as well. Sometimes I just want to stop by and say hello when I pass this place. Will not dissappoint!

Great auto shop to get new tires, oil change, regular automotive maintenance done, shocks and basically anything done you may need for your car/truck. Workers are always kind and helpful.

Don t bother calling this place some rude old man will pick up and tell you to come in because there s not enough man power to look for a tire you re looking for. You guys should just delete your phone number here. Useless.

Service is fast pricing are great compared to Mavis , goodyear or small shops. Saved $1000 for four michelin sport tires for my Amg 63

Do not use this company........ I own a moving company my general manager brought 2 of my trucks to get the brakes , calibers done... They price gauged me, made my pay cash and refuse to write a receipt. Now my trucks 30 days later are leaking brake fluid everywhere and I brought my trucks to an honest mechanic a friend of my husband and they told me Hempstead Tire did not do the work.... I am a woman owned small business owner and this company took over $2,500.00 from me and did not do the work, refused to give me a receipt and put my employees lives in danger..... I called this company to get a receipt, they cursed at me and mu husband and hung up on his. Also when we went over the price prior to doing the work the man said his name was Lee, when we called to get a receipt the man who answered the phone said there is no Lee that works for this company.I am going to the Better Business Bureau and hiring an Attorney to get my money returned. i am also contacting Consumer affairs and the IRS as they are receiving cash as payments and not giving receipts to customers. *******Do not use this company*****

They were unbelievable... called around on the side of the road for 30 min for commercial tires ... got nothing but umms/ sorry don t have a driver / not sures... I got them and they were fast reasonably priced and go to me in UNDER an hour .. my business does a lot of volume I can t tell you enough time is money .. when the road side worker arrived he was fast knowledgeable and extremely nice ... will use them for EVERY blow out I hope to never have again ! LOL thanks guys !

An old-style shop with no frills, but good service and very reasonable prices. I went in without an appointment and was out of there in less than 40 minutes with slow leaks in two tires fixed for $15 each.

Do not go. I took my wife's car in for a wheel alignment, they told me the lower control needed to be replaced. They never changed the bushings it was a half fast job and the alignment was worse then when it went in. My wife took the car to the dealer who ultimately fixed the problem and documented the repair. Hempstead tires refused to reimbursement me for the improper work, I am currently fighting this with my credit card company. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP, SAVE YOUR SELF THE GRIEF. .

BEWARE: STAY AWAY !!!! This place is a waste of time and the owners are hungry for your money. If I can give them zero stars I would. I went there for a simple inspection but they decided my 2016 Mercedes needed new tires and new brakes. This is probably the worst place on earth to get anything done on your car.

I took my brothers truck to hempstead tires for an inspection. To my surprise i was refused service by jack the sons owner. Because the truck had new tires, That my brother didn't buy from them. So he refused to do the inspectionIf you don't buy from them you don't get an inspection. What a way to run a business.I am going to file a complaint with the better business bureau

Biggest shop on the turnpike for a reason. I have brought many trucks here to be worked on because no other shops in the area could put a 2500 pickup on their lift. I have always been treated like "one of them" and never talked down to. I hate going to a shop and having an untrained tech tell me that my cabin air filter needs to be changed along with my transmission fluid. This place will give you the no-bs, all business treatment along with a reasonable price based on the work they do. While you're there, take a look at the vehicles they're working on. Their bread and butter is working with huge trucks. If you want some hand holding, along with a comfortable waiting room with Wi-Fi, go to your dealership and pay for inflated labor costs!I 100% recommend this shop and wouldn't hesitate to bring my personal cars here (if they weren't already covered by factory warranties).

The worst tire shop ever. Very expensive and they scratched my freshly painted black rims. They are very careless and I would never go back to this place again. I definitely do not recommend this tire shop to anyone. There are plenty more tire shops nearby.
