Took my car here because Interstate batteries customer service told me my battery was still under warranty and that an authorized service center would replace it free. So they gave me this shops location. When I took my car in my car battery died at their shop. He told me he only swaps battery's that he sold and doesn't care what interstate says. I was forced to use him for service as a tow would cost as much as the battery.He changed my battery out which took him some time to find because in my car it's under the passenger side seat. While pulling the battery out he ripped a vent hose nozzle that sends any fumes from the battery out of the car. He told me to contact him next time I bring my car in and he will take care of it. Decided to call today about that and another issue, and he was rude and hung up the phone. Don't know why people have such attitudes, and don't honor their promises.

I thought I needed to have my brakes changed because I heard a slightly screeching sound. Although I recently had my car serviced and wasn t notified of needing new brakes, the sound made me paranoid. I called Beacon and they told me to come in whenever I could. When I arrived, they helped me out right away. One of the mechanics took down my info and told me they would call me as soon as they assess the issue. An hour (maybe less) later they called me and reassured me my brakes were just fine. When I went to pick up my car, I spoke to a different mechanic there who told me they tested the brakes and my brakes were fine. They didn t lie to me just to get my money. I don t know much about cars and they could ve easily taken advantage of that but they didn t. They didn t even charge me for taking a look at my vehicle. If I was a permanent resident of Rockland County, Beacon Mechanics would be my go-to place.

I've been coming to this place for years and they do quality car repair in a reasonable time frame. I have never felt ripped off when they have done a job for me. They take the time to explain the repair and why it was needed. They hand write every receipt with price of goods and services.

Matt serviced our boiler and he was very thorough. He shared information about boiler maintenance with me (as a new home owner). Let me look at what he was doing, showed me the parts we needed to order that clearly needed replacement. He was also very good with our 1.5 year old doberman who can be a little much sometimes. We look forward to having Beacon out to service our AC unit.

Excellent service ! Owners are very friendly and explained all work that was being done on my car... Prompt service and reasonably priced.. Will definitely use them again and refer them to others as well.. Nice to deal with an honest shop !!!!!

Honest with integrity. Love it. Got recommended from a neighbor to go here and have had the best experience ever. They don't try to sell you what you don't need and will lay out options for you. Highly recommended!

Today I had an emergency to avoid a ticket...I needed just to locate a fuse and replace it but a old guy didn't even try to do something about it.... really dislike it
