Couldn t speak more highly of the shop and John. Problem itself wasn t major but John treated it as such, and even went as far as to stay open far past closing time to help me. Highly recommend and will use again!

Whenever I need something, John and his crew are always there to help me. I ve been going to him for years and have never been disappointed. I would recommend him highly. I needed my tire plugged. It was the first place I found near me. They plugged my tire quick, added air to my other tires and recommended I look into new tires. The best part was that they did it as a free service. Awesome place and awesome people. Thank you guys

Had an issue with a tire. The guys were very helpful. They didn't have the tire I needed to replace it but still filled it with air to get me somewhere that had it in stock.

John, Erin and the staff had lots of work to do on my car and I was very pleased and happy with the professionalism and timely manner they completed all the work. John is very knowledgeable and explained all that had to be done and why. Pricing was great and reasonable. I am definitely making the switch to JK Auto as my new mechanic!

They replaced a tire and fixed ABS on my Ford. Price was reasonable and had it done the next day after brought in late thr previous day.

John, Adam, Erin and the whole team at JK saved me big time! So professional, courteous and thorough - they were dedicated to getting me back on the road quickly and safely when I got a flat. When my own road side assistance was taking hours to respond, JK came to my rescue with a tow and new tire. Cannot recommend JK highly enough.

John from Stacks has always been courteous and friendly and goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are satisfied. I've been bringing my wife's car and mine to the Little East Neck Rd. location for the past year for service and have been amazed at the level of service. The work is done in a timely fashion and I've had no complaints!

I've been bringing my vehicles to John at Stacks for several years now. The work is always done correctly, neatly and timely. I never have a complaint about the work they do. Prices are fair and they never nickel and dime you. Plus, they supply a ride to my house when I drop off my vehicle and pick me up when the work is done. Thanks guys.

Stack's has been my go to place for auto repair and maintenance since I moved to the area several years ago. John is always friendly. He takes the time to get to know your car, enters detailed notes, and, when there's a problem, he takes the time to always explain what the situation is and what needs to be done.Recently, he caught a problem with my transmission that I wouldn't have caught on my own, and alerted me to the fact that it was still under warranty, but by only 4000 miles. He took care of contacting the dealer and getting the vehicle over to their shop for me. I feel like a lesser mechanic wouldn't have noticed the problem or less honest one wouldn't have told me about it, let me drive it for awhile longer, and gotten the expensive job for himself.I've found them to always be honest, have given me great customer service, and, most importantly, have done good work.

I have taken my vehicles to John at Stacks for years and never had any problem. My family needs a safe vehicle that won't breakdown and the guys at Stacks have always succeeded with that priority.Thank you to a reliable mechanic that has even helped me with advice on my snowblower! I've been going here for a little over a year now. Obviously, having car problems isn't ideal, but it's good to know that it's in good hands when I bring it here. John knows what he's doing, and what I really like is that he does his best to explain exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done (he'll probably give you a rough sketch if he needs to go into detail). I've brought my car in for things from an oil change, inspection, brake and rotator replacements, to (much more recently) my rack and pinion replaced. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good mechanic. And if you stop into the office, make sure to bring a treat for Shadow!

My Dodge Caliber is over 20 years old. I have been going to John for repairs, upkeep and general maintenance. All the workere are polite and very helpful. All the work needed is done in a timely manner and within a reasonable price. I could not be more satisfied.

I had the toughest time getting my old truck inspected. The new computers just don't work on the older vehicles. While at a Ford dealer a customer there told me to run it over to Stacks. That was around 2002. I have been a customer since that time and feel like family. Tom the owner gets a star because he will take care of a problem and will investigate it through till the problem is solved even if some reasonable time has passed. Just communicate it to Stacks right away. TJ knows how to run a shop and will go out of his way to get your car in very quickly to get your car serviced or repaired and he really has a great rapport with people so he gets a star. Then there's Chris who will, within a certain distance, take you home, pick you up and bring you back while he listens to your laments or jokes which deserves a star! Another star for Stacks because they most often have hot coffee or tea to brew and a light snack and watch the TV while waiting. I'd give Stacks 5 stars but I am always in shock of how much cars cost to fix these days and can't get over it!!!!

Not your normal "gas station" repair shop. John runs a top notch operation and cares for your car like it was his own. He also runs a shuttle to help you back & forth if necessary. Very communicative. Try it. You'll like it.

All the work was done quickly for a reasonable price. Brakes actually feel much better on truck and safer. I have brought my last car, a mazdaspeed3, here and the work on that 4 years ago was great too.

Recently took my truck to JK Auto (formerly Stacks Auto) to have my brakes replaced. They also found that one of my calipers had frozen and were able to correct that problem quickly and without fuss. I absolutely love Stack s Auto!! I live in Lindenhurst and have plenty of auto repair shops closer to my home. I go out of the way to see John!! I find him to be very honest, helpful and sincere. I will not go anywhere else!!

Feel sonlucky to have found Stacks! I have a Prius which had some erratic electrical problems and John put in loads of hours to effectively diagnos and fix the issue while sticking to his quote. So appreciate the honesty and knowledge; very few mechanics will even work on hybrids let alone give good service at a fair price!

I've been coming to this place since it was Joe's back in the 1990s. I thought I was going to have to find another mechanic when stacks took over (bad experiences with NB stacks) but John is great. These guys work hard. Give these guys a try, even if you avoid NB Stacks.

John replaced my original brakes & rotors with quality parts that he suggested. The ride is better than it was! He also provides warranty on the parts and work he does. He tells it like it is and doesn't "steer" you wrong.
