Jack was able to get me an appt immediately and took my car in without an appt one day. I was given a loaner car each time, which made it so convenient for me. He gave me a very generous discount and my car was beautifully detailed. It s never been this clean and I had stuff all over the place in there! I m a Garber customer for life!While I took pictures of how clean my car is, I locked my keys in the car. Jack arranged for someone to try the lockout kit and offered a loaner when that didn t work. I recommend the entire team of professionals working here together to meet the needs of every customer. I leased a 2023 Subaru Forester within this month and needed assistance with my vehicle. Discovering that I needed to check one of my tires, the cause was a nail embedded. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the service department was open on Saturday and agreed to take me without having to make an appointment. The staff were friendly, competent in repairng the tire from the inside out, assuring me it will not give me any issue in the future.I was convinced that I wanted a Subaru from the start - this is my first one and I will remain with not only the manufacturer but also this dealership in the future - no questions asked - no doubts! Kudos to all of the employees who work so well together here on Ridge Rd., in Webster, NY

If the truck we purchased wasn't such a good deal close to home, I would not have went through with the purchase. They seemed rather careless and forgetful. Definitely didn't have all their stuff together. The guy that claims he has been doing this for 20 years really upset me with his carelessness. Assumed I didn't want the GAP insurance and we had to sign paper work all over! We ended up financing a lot still after a hefty down payment. Still have a high payment AND he "forgot " to add in the money we put down on the vehicle to the paperwork! Unbelievable! We were supposed to get a friend's and family discount and after later doing the math, didn't get that. If they don't get the package they want you to get, I guess the discount doesn't matter. They gave us a IOU, however would not sign anything saying that it would be taken care of! They called to have my husband come in and the people weren't there and needed to again reschdule!! Work has still not been completed . I am not pleased with the experience with Garber at all and I will not return. For future purchases. I'll stick with Ide.

I love my new Forester but please be an informed consumer! Our salesperson was very friendly and helped us get a good deal on my new car. However, some things were slipped by us without us knowing. I will admit that it is my fault for not reading every line before I signed the agreement, but there were a few things they added in that were not mentioned or discussed a head of time. They added in a $300 fee for paint protection that was not a part of the original agreement, and they charged me $170 to clean and detail my new car. It is a new car and that should be included with the service, I believe. They did not pressure me to add on extra warranties, which was nice and, as I said before, I love my new 2023 Subaru Forester. I just feel like I was taken advantage of a little bit!

Went in for oil change and tire rotate plus air top off. Service advisor noted the tires were nearing end of useful life but did and charged me for a rotate anyway instead of suggesting we just skip it on thin tread tires. Never topped off air psi. Had to do it myself when I got home.

Took my 2021 Crosstrek to Garber for an oil change, tire rotation and New York State inspection. I made an appointment which was very easy. People were fantastic. The reason for 4 stars in stead of 5 was because I had to wait longer than expected. I do appreciate that Garber gave me some money off my visit because of the wait but it was still longer than I was originally told and I had to take an important call from work on my phone which caused me to not have some information in front of me that was needed for the call. Other than that. Nice clean waiting area and friendly people.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Fantastic service!Purchased a used Subaru from a private party and was concerned when the check engine light came on . At Garber they where friendly and knowledgeable. Immediately put me at ease by giving me a loaner while they corrected the problem.

Dropped car off for some scheduled service and one problem. Computers were down but everything went smoothly, they took care of everything. Service advisor Ashley was amazing! She listened to details of the problem, made sure she noted everything I needed done, and kept me informed of status throughout the diagnosis and work. All while being one of the most pleasant and cheerful service people I ve dealt with. The service provided here was spot on for my first Subaru experience in the Rochester area coming from the Syracuse area. Although all dealers are managed by different groups it felt to me like the level of care was a direct lateral transition and caused no disarray or confusion when it came to what coverages I have. Ashley in the service department was very professional and compassionate about her job in service. She assured me that whatever the issue was it will be found and that I will be given a loaner car for the period that my vehicle will be in the shop. She even allowed me an opportunity to assess the problem within the garage along side the technician and he walked me through what he believed the source of the problem was coming from. Although Subaru of Rochester & Brockport are closer to where I live. I am happy to say I d prefer Garber Subaru over the other two. Especially because of how smooth and dependable the service rep sounded over the phone was a big plus on getting me to come to Webster . Called the Service Center Today. They have a 2 week wait on loaner vehicles and they will not service vehicles on the weekends. So the only option is to take time off from work to have my car serviced or wait until I can get a loaner while they have the car for a few days to fix the engine. It is a warranty issue that is a defect (not just an oil change) and I am concerned about driving with an undiagnosed issue that may or may not be major and/or dangerous. When I asked if there was any alternatives we can figure out so I can know that I am safe to be driving for a few weeks waiting for them his response was "I can't change the way we do business to deal with your check engine light." Even just being able to plug the computer into my car on a Saturday so I know it's safe for a few weeks while I wait would be acceptable - but they have to take the position that it would be changing the way they do business to provide customer service.Top 5 most unprofessional things ever said to me. I am worried about nothing more than confirming that my vehicle is safe to drive and he has the nerve to say that. SOOOO unprofessional and will never do business with them.Update: Called the number left by the organizational contact. The person who answered did not know who he was and was very rude since I was calling after their service center had closed for the day. Even trying to follow up with them gets a rude response. I really do not know how they are still in business when they treat people so poorly.
