I am always treated with respect and the analysis is always spot on. This group of guys has never a single time steered me wrong. I may have a good idea of what is wrong with my vehicle, but over the years they have demonstrated time and vehicle again that they are experienced and determined to get me the best deal on parts to get me back up and running. With their crew, I would never go anywhere else. They are the best. My daughter, and my granddaughters will always come here because they can be trusted.

Got my brake pads done here and could not recommend it enough. Cheapest prices in Town. Scott was so kind and was too good at his job. Definitely come here more often.

Great experience, they fixed my car very polite mechanic. The only issue I had is the general manager who I dealt with the day prior knew I wanted to use my warranty to pay for the $500 cost. He scheduled me for the next day and it was his day off and the guy that was there could not process the warranty so I had to pay $500 out-of-pocket, that is disappointing that only the manager is capable of performing this function. Other than that man that worked on my car had an outstanding personality and was a good person. I just should ve never had to pay the 500 out-of-pocket.

Everyone should use caution when using Monroe Muffler & Brake in Watertown, NY!!! BEWARE!!!Back story: In February of 2023, I had a complete rear brake service. New calipers, New Rotors, New Brake Pads, supposedly bled my brake lines, and supposedly installed everything correctly.TODAY In June of 2023: I noticed something was wrong with my brakes. Making noise & not working well. Come to find out, they installed EVERYTHING incorrectly and was missing certain pieces to parts!! I need a completely new brake job. Everything that was replaced in February now needs to be replaced in June. They DID NOT bleed my brakes. Brake fluid was leaking (no brake fluid = no brakes, scary!), brake pads completely shot, rotors completely shot, calipers blown. EVERYTHING IS BAD & I now need completely new parts.Monroe charged me $1,130.19 for this service, and 4 months later I have to pay to get it completely redone. I am now fighting Monroe for a full refund. An amazing car shop on Coffeen street (Rockafleet?) is RE doing everything for around $650. HALF OF WHAT MONROE CHARGED FOR A SHOTTY SERVICE!EVERYONE BEWARE! I am now fighting with the District Manager for a FULL refund, which they are not being compliant. I have the shotty parts, I have pictures, I have the documents from the new shop. I have every single piece of proof, and they are still fighting me.

I was on the last 20 miles of a 700 mile trip. I'd been hearing noise from my brakes for quite a while and decided to stop at this shop where I've had work done in the past.They put the car on the lift,looked around, dropped the car and pulled it out front. They said that there had just been something stuck and they removed it and everything was fine! NO CHARGE! What a relief! Thank you Monro Service!

Competent & honest! Had a weird noise coming from a wheel, they lifted the car and after a while found a walnut stuck between my calliper and the hub!!! Refuse to take any money for the job rare these days for sure!

December 2021 new Lifetime brakes, calipers, rotors all-around. No word of a problem at 2022 and 2023 inspections. Quoted $1400 for new front calipers and pads all-around. My local shop quoted me $800 so MUNRO knocked it down to $1200. Why do I feel like a Victim?!

I made an appointment for state inspection. 15 minutes into the inspection, an employee came out and told me my brakes needed replacing soon, but wouldn't fail the inspection. He offered to replace the pads for $600. I declined since that's outrageous and I can do it myself. 15 minutes after that, he came back saying the OBD2 wouldn't communicate with my car. He sent me off, no charge, no inspection result.A week later, I go to Mavis for an inspection. I pass, my brakes are perfectly fine, and their reader indicates monro had failed me on the inspection.They lied and tried to con $600 from me. I am a 24 year old female, if that's relevant.

Guys, I went in for an oil change and it was over 100$. This was my first and last time there. I ve never paid more than 60$ for an oil change. I was confusion. Tire rotation is complementary and they didn t even do that bc I took my car down the road and said that they weren t changed and my tire light was still on. Monro tried to quote me a lot of $$$ for brakes, I went somewhere else and got a much better quote. I feel like I was ripped off.

I just bought a truck from down south and needed to get it inspected before the 10 day DMV temporary inspection expired. Scheduling was simple and they had me in and out with fresh inspection with no issues. My go to garage was not able to get me in as quick as I needed so I am very happy with how Monro helped me out in a pinch.

Phenomenal work with amazing employees! I was headed out for a trip with my family for Memorial Day. They took care of my rig (1987 Toyota Motorhome) and ensured my family and I were safe to be on the road. It s hard to find honestly people these days, but you can trust Monroe to take care of you. Thanks Gents! Now I am off to Cranberry Lake

DO NOT TRUST MONRO!!!! I went in 3 weeks ago because my car was making noises when driving, I was told my tires are making the noise. I returned today for inspection and they told me my wheel bearing failed my inspection but if they did their job 3 weeks ago it would have already been taken care of and I wouldn t have had to waste time and money.

Profesional service and quality parts. Took my truck in due to the wheel bearings and rotors. They did a great job and put on quality parts I wanted. Super was able to drive in without a appointment and had my truck serviced extremely fast.

Went in for oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. I took a picture of my tire and put mark on it cuz i have a sense of something that they wouldnt do and i wasn't wrong they didnt do tire rotation i took pictures and my tire is in the same place and i paid almost 250$ for all those services and it is frustrating u paid all this money and didnt do their job. Now i have doubts of them if they did oil change or wheel alignment. Very disappointed never again.

The tech didn t want to work on my truck. Apparently his machine couldn t put new tires on beadlock wheels. He didn t have the right key for the lug nuts. He started to list what s wrong with my truck. After telling him that the new parts are in the back seat, he just refused. Talking with the front desk clerk I was told that he earns less money when customers bring their own parts and adding a lot of services at once lower his per hour even more.

A synthetic Blend Oil Change Cost $138 Dollars With an inspection. I asked why it was so much. I was charged $97 for 8 quarts of oil. What a Joke. I can buy Mastercraft oil at 19.99 for 5 Quarts. Mr. Tire Down the road does the same oil change and inspection for 68 dollars. I needed the inspection before Sunday or I would have went to where I usually go(my fault for procrastinating). I will not go back there ever again. Pricing there is an absolute joke.

I was charged $1359.00 to have an Compressor for my AC replaced. They charged me for the work even though the AC was not working and I would have to come back to fix "one more part of it". I shouldn't have paid. It's been 3 weeks and they have still not completed the repair. 5 WEEKS!!!!! This Monro location is a criminal enterprise. The manager has lied to me and refused to call me back for weeks. Don't go here ever! The place looks like someone's really bad garage and the "mechanics" are actually working on cars in shorts and wife beater t-shirts. 5 Weeks, $1359.00 and the last time I was able to get the Manager Greg to actually come to the phone he lied to me again that the part hadn't come in yet. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CHOP SHOP>

This shop saved us! We were visiting my brother in Watertown for the weekend and my wheel bearing went bad on the way there. My car sat at Mavis Discount Tire for 3 days waiting to be worked on before we finally moved it to this Monro on a Sunday. Ed got us in and started working on my car immediately. He had my wheel bearing replaced within a couple hours. I could tell that Ed actually cared about our situation and time crunch, as we had to leave town the following morning. He put in the effort to get our car done by the end of the day. My family is so grateful to this shop and what they did for us. I would recommend them to anyone & I wish I lived closer to use them as my regular mechanic. Thank you so much!

Moved into town through the military half a year ago and have been going here to get my oil changed ever since. They are honest and don't try to push you to do any unnecessary services and are very efficient and courteous. Came in earlier than my appointment today and they still got my car in the shop right away. Would definitely recommend for low cost, great service, and highly accommodating.

I tried to get a state inspection. They insisted that the window tint rule is that the tint must be 75% or greater. My windows are at 71%. They wanted to remove the tint on my windows for $45 per window. I tried showing them the NY state law that says it is 70% so my car should have passed. They wouldn't listen. I told them that I got my car inspected a year ago without any problem. They said whoever did the inspection did it illegally. One person suggested I make a left turn and then another left turn to go to the sheriff's office. Another person was adamant about the 75% and that he has been doing this for 16 years. I called the DMV and the NY State Inspection dept. Guess what? IT'S 70%. Time to get educated.

Terrible service! I went in for a car inspection yesterday. The guy said everything passed but I needed new windshield wipers. That was fine but he said if they did it, it would cost $102. Mind you, an inspection is only $21. (he said the wipers were $35 each)I didn't want to pay that outrageous amount so he said that I could leave, get new wipers and come back. I did and the guy tried saying that I'd have to do the whole inspection again after the guy told me yesterday, that I wouldn't have to. And on top of that, he said I couldn't get right in after I was told that I could. The guy was also very rude to me and to people over the phone. I was nice and polite to him and explained what I was told and he basically yelled at me and said "I'm just doing my job!".I ended up telling him that they're ridiculous and I would bring my service elsewhere and walked out.(it would've been fine if he talked to me and treated me with respect as I did to him, but that was not the case.)Rude and disrespectful.

Scott took excellent care of me and my 2013 vehicle - he even remedied some other mechanic s errors. He did it efficiently, and kept me fully informed of what he was proposing to do, going so far as to show me on the vehicle exactly what repairs needed to be made to each car part. Super friendly, forthright, and honest! 10/10 recommend for your car needs.

Had a really rough experience at Monroe. The manager is a smooth talker and seems very polite. He ended up doing work that wasn't approved and then lied about it. He called multiple times to collect a payment over the phone before even picking up our vehicle. The total was nearly 200$ more than the quote that I approved. When we got the vehicle back the work we had asked for was not done. They charged us 165$ for a battery that WAS NOT EVEN PUT IN THE VEHICLE! Then we had to go through 2 weeks of phone calls to get reimbursed for the battery. They are over priced and manipulative. I don't recommend them.

I made an appointment the day before to get a new headlight installed. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and courteous. He started promptly on my car at the scheduled time and clearly went over the bill with me. Will go back again for service.
