Don't go here...I went here, found a nice car, took it for a test drive and I noticed it was loud. Tugged on all the wheels and the back passenger side was slightly loose. We came to an agreement, he said he would have the bearing fixed and we shook hands. When I went to leave I noticed the rear tires looked funny. Checked them out and turns out they were "scalloped", never told me. I then agreed I would buy the new tires for it and he would still have the bearing checked out.Two days later he put the new tires on and I asked him about the bearing. He said, "it looks good to me and no I didn't have it checked out." That wasn't the deal. Now I'm suspicious as he didn't follow through with the agreement. I also noticed there was a lien on the title. I asked him if I could come and check the car out, to see if the new tires/lug nuts made a difference and I also asked to see the lien release.I arrive at the location, he has the car up in the air so I can check the bearing. I said, "hey Larry, how are you?" He says, "what! Now you don't trust me?" And procedes to have a temper tantrum because I asked to see the lien release. He brings a copy, not the original, lean release and says, "by the way the car had been in a rollover and it was on a salvage title."We said, "what?" And he says, "you see, that was a lie." He starts to cuss my elderly father out and says his wife doesn't feel comfortable doing the deal now. He continues cursing and says, "THE DEAL IS OFF." And out the door we went. He follows us to our vehicle trying to incite some kind of violence out of my father and tells him "you better watch your back."The man is unstable. The bearing was tight when I checked it up in the air. He could have just been polite and he woulda made some money. Now he's down a new pair of tires....

My grandfather brought me out to Groffs. First of all, this is such a clean and organized place to visit. The family there helped me find a great car and told me all about it and I couldn't be happier with my new car!! I'm writing this review because I am seriously bursting with joy to have a car for the winter and so thankful that I was treated so kindly and pleasantly helped. Thank you!! I reccomend this business for buying a used car. 10 out of 10 take my word!

The older lady that works there is very rude and unprofessional. Has zero people skills. Trying to stay nice the whole time talking to her and was treated very rude. Will never do anything with Groff

We bought a Jeep and 3 days later the check engine light came on, the owner told us he could take it to his mechanic in Watertown and charge us his cost to find out what was wrong. Since there is NO mechanic at his shop and he told us he's not a mechanic. We put it on a tester(my father-in-law is a mechanic) to find out what was wrong and it showed nothing at first. It got so bad it was sputtering out trying to die (2 weeks later). We tested again it showed a bad cylinder #1, so we put all new spark plugs in and so far it's holding, but when the air conditioner kicks on the engine is noticeably different. At some point I'm sure the cylinders will need to be replaced. It just kills me since right from the get go we paid extra to have the window buttons repaired, because they didn't work at his mechanic. After our issues I found someone else who purchased a vehicle from him too, who also had a laundry list of repairs after their purchase. I honestly don't think I would ever purchase a vehicle from him again, after all the headaches and unknown.

Great place to buy a starter vehicle or one for the experanced vehicle owner. No complaint's on the SUV that was bought there..
