Best customer service I ve had yet up here! The gentleman was so informative and patient with every question I had. He found me a transmission for my rig even though it was a bit of a search. My husband and I can t give Paul and the entire shop enough praise. Prompt, helpful, courteous and honest. We live in Syracuse, and the transmission on our truck went while we were at our camp in Henderson. Not exactly convenient. It took a few months to fix my truck but ultimately Paul took care of me and made sure i was able to get my rig back on the road. I would recommend this shop for any and all your needs they are good people with a mom and pop feel. Very dependable and helpful people. Was in a time crunch for an upcoming trip and had a not so great vehicle. After waiting about 2 weeks for an appointment they tell us it will be an hour wait (fine). We brought the car here due to a slight hiccup when getting up to about 30 mph/the car trying to shift. We assumed it was the transmission and asked for the car to be test driven and hooked up to their diagnostic systems. When we got the car back, the wrench light was on and the car drove 100 times worse than when we brought it there. As we left the shop, the car wouldn t even get to about 20mph without feeling like it was going to stall. And then when putting the car in reverse it just jumps into neutral. Bottom of the line is, we only asked this place to test drive the car and diagnose it. But instead, we got the car back 100 times worse than how we brought it there. They continuously said they didn t do anything to the car but we beg to differ considering the car is now unsafe to even drive!!! We will not be returning because these people can t be trusted!

When my coil spring broke on my minivan, I took it in to Goodyear to get a quote and was informed I also needed new brakes and rotors. I called around to feel out a better deal, being so close to Christmas, money is tight. Most places quoted me around 1400-1800 dollars total for the repair. I was astonished that AAMCO quoted the job for almost half the cost their competitors told me. None of this "well, your van is old, chances are so and so will go wrong or break during the repair so, you should replace this and that and expect X amount for it." They definitely don't try and wring you dry.They also have a military discount and I am very satisfied with their work. Once the parts were in, same day service. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and the repair went flawlessly. They are just plain amazing! Great and honest work!

My truck started to do a weird noise coming from around the flywheel. Took it here and half an hour later the guy came out with the bad news and quoted me 1,300 to replace the flywheel and some other stuff. Almost crying called my wife to pick me up from there. On my way home the guy called me telling me to come back to get my truck because when they took it apart and cleaned the flywheel was missing in bolt and other four were loose. They guy didn't charge me a penny. This shop and this guy are so honest that is unbelievable to find people like this these days. Definitely coming back for a repair that I need on my truck. Repair of my trans.ission was estmated to be 900 dlrs. Repair took 3 weeks due to a shortage of technicians caused by illness. Wasn't happy about the delay but shocked that the repair came to 300 dlrs. During the repair it turned out to be a more simple procedure. They apologized and were happy to charge me one third of the estmate. Good honest customer service. The car runs great too!

Went there last year for warranty work on my truck. Was lied to. Told the engine for my truck had arrived and just was not installed. Called the warranty company the truck had not even been inspected yet. Took it to another shop after almost 2 months. Still considering a law suit against them. I wouldn't take my pedal bike there to get fixed. Only gave one star because I had to.

Brought my truck in for a transmission. They rebuilt the transmission and I got my truck back after two weeks. A month or so later the new transmission breaks and I have to bring it in again. Got my truck back after the second time they out a transmission in and my emergency brake is broken and I have several other issues that I did not have previously before bringing back for second transmission. They don't want to take any accountability for anything. I'll drive to another amco to fill my warrantee if needed. Don't waste your timeService: Transmission

As read in other comments, Paul and his staff are very accommodating and have excellent service. They fixed my Jeep right up and I felt 100% safe to drive. I HIGHLY recommend.

Paul Jr is definitely a good guy he doesn't overcharge you unlike some companies and he gets your vehicle fixed correct I've never had an issue with him and I've taken a variety of different vehicles to his shop over the years.

Highly recommend this shop ! They really do make sure everything is done correctly and in a timely manner. Reasonable with customers and super friendly ! Had multiple issues with my Jeep, transmission went out and other non transmission issues and they were able to help with them all. Really do go the extra mile for customers !

My truck had been acting up just before a major road trip. They looked at it quickly and after much shaking and rattling of loud object (how else does one scare away gremlins? Can't bait them with food!) Called to tell me that they couldn't fix the problem because nothing seemed to be wrong. And over the last week nothing has happened. The best part was they didn't charge me for the voodoo that they did to scare off the gremlins! If I was staying local I would definitely be returning for future services.

Never bringing another vehicle of mine here ever. All the guy Paul has done is lie to me for the past three weeks giving me the run around on my car for a simple computer. It will be done this day, call that day and something came up car was not touched, same thing the next week and the week after finally he says oh its in it will be done tomorrow and I call tomorrow and the answer i get is unbelievable, oh we need too do this and that and drive it for x amount of miles so it will be done another day. If there is one thing that I hate it is liars and this shop has done nothing to me but lie. I have needed my car everyday for the past three weeks and have not been able to use it all all and im probably looking at another week from the sounds of it. Wpuld not recommend this shop to anyone at all from my experience.

Aamco does an amazing job. Repair my 97 Honda Prelude transmission. Needed a total rebuild. They were able to rebuild it. Any problems or issues they fix with ease. Transmission has a lifetime warranty as long as I own the car. Can't beat it.

By FARRRR the BEST place to take your vehicles if your anywhere near Watertown! Honest, respectful, trustworthy and most importantly fairy priced!! I ll never take my vehicles anywhere else! I ve had so many shops in the past try and rip me off but aamco has been more than amazing to myself and my family!!

Earlier this year, a DIFFERENT shop caused damage to our vehicle resulting in requiring a new transmission. Aamco offered us 3 options and even a payment plan. We chose to have our existing transmission rebuilt and to pay up front. After the job was complete there were still some issues. They rebuilt the transmission again in a timely fashion and extended the warranty due to the issues. They were always attentive and ready to serve our needs. Fast forward a few months and it was time for our family's cross country drive. They did a free service check and said we were good to go. However, on our drive home from Oregon, the transmission went out on the freeway in Idaho. Paul Jr. quickly got on the phone with the nearest Aamco (which was run by an amazing couple) and had a tow truck and the owner of that Aamco on their way to us. (It was 94 degrees out and I had my 4 boys with me). Paul Jr. took care of everything with the shop there in Idaho and even called after hours (time difference) to see that we had been taken care of and were settled in for the night. Luckily it was just the speed sensor and they had us safely on the road the next day. Between Paul Jr. and the Nampa Aamco in Idaho, what could have been an awful crisis was made into a great experience. We met some amazingly kind people and the boys even got an afternoon of Lego and video games. Thank you to Paul Jr. for taking the time to make sure my family had minimal inconveniences and that we got safely back on the road to home.

Watertown New York AAMCO. Really treat soldiers well. I have been taking my truck here for three years now and won't take it anywhere else. I've had from drive shafts to the whole front end rebuilt by them. Every time I go in there Paul takes down what I think is wrong and gets back to me super fast. They always try to get the work done as soon as possible. Really treat people and work, and I have never been blind sided by any hidden fees.

I've had numerous vehicles worked on here..from total rebuilds to full swaps and prices were always par..never had issues afterwards..would recommend!
