One of the best Petro truck stops. It's very big inside they even have a Barber Shop. We had a nice breakfast at Iron Skillet. Great customer service and very welcomed placed.

Bathrooms are always clean. Friendly employees and great service at iron skillet. Not only that, they always cook my steak just the way I like it! Thank you ladies!

Good truck stop. Like any other big petro-T/A. Lots of parking spots. Good coffee. Clean showers/restrooms fully stocked with supplies. Microwave for you to use so you can save money and not eat out. Only bad thing is literally none of the washers were working when I got here yesterday. Fast forward to the morning when I get up - I guess a few of them got fixed. Drivers don't over load or abuse the machines and use them properly. And petro-T/A please keep these washers & dryers working because we rely on places like these to do our laundry.

Really nice building and a HUGE parking lot with lots of free spaces. Barber shop laundry and a truck mattress store? Other amenities include a game room and tv room.Store was kind of dated with just standard c store stuff. Seemed like they had more souvenirs and t shirts than they had snax. Beer cooler was picked over with many empty slots and too many seltzers and cheladas and hardly any imports.

New York does travel centers right. Gas station, travel store, restaurant, laundromat, map wall/travel info, arcade, restrooms etc. It has everything

Petro is a very convenient place to go for tourists, travelers and truck drivers traveling to and through New York state. Conveniently located off the expressway, it's large building and signs will welcome you. This place is HUGE and inside is a large convenience store type shop, The Iron Skillet Restaurant, bathrooms, an arcade room, showers, a movie room, laundry room and much more. Petro has served millions of people on their journey through Waterloo and it remains a treasure cherished among the truck driving community. The building is always kept clean and there's always staff on hand to help you if you need it. I rate Petro 5 stars because of how nice and convenient the amenities are that they provide.

Great place very friendly lot's of parking for trucks barber shop game room huge laundry room tv room even a exercise room and clean showers, there aren't many places with all this to offer, thank you so much.

Best bathroom I've ever seen at a truck stop. Double showers and double sinks. Clean bathroom. Lots of parking.

Would like to give 5 stars. Except for the fact that there is no ventilation. After showering, mirror walls are covered in condensation. Clothes are also damp. It's like being in a sauna. On the positive side, they are very roomy showers. That is always a plus.

Basically has no food unless you want chips or iron skillet.My shower was really nice.Staff are really nice people.

This place is quite interesting. For the road trip or traveler, it has everything you could ever need. Food. Tv. Rest area. Cleaning areas. Etc.

Absolutely horrible service. They set apointment for next morning, and when I show up next day, come back some another time.When you replace or check hub cap, hub oil leaks try to put it back again because I get late for my appointment to find Delar fix your problemI spent almost $500 bucks to do my PM and you didn t show me when you secured the oil pan . And you give attitude to the customers.

For a place to park, that's all that is really needed sometime. Got in at 2 am, from the short time I drove around to find a spot, I saw atleast 6, and I only saw 1/4 of their lot. Gave three stars cause it gave me what I needed but it(all Petros/TA) seemed dirty, dank even if it wasn't.

I bought one can of freon for my air conditioner for 106.00 dollars. I went across the street to the Love's to park for the night. I checked their price for the exact same can was 54 bucks. How can Petro get away with that. Unreal. Truck drivers keep your eyes open on the prices at Petro

Lots of parking spots no doubt but I got some spaghetti meat balls which got a weird smell kind of undercooked as well...I m sick now I had to stop ...

Would rate it better but twice in 3 days ( both times we stopped in for a meal) the cook got my order wrong. Highly allergic to gluten and told them. Meal comes out with a roll touching the food.

employees are friendly but the place needs some work. The fuel pumps don t work and leaks, shower Rooms are ok plenty of room. I like this place because of the huge parking lots and it s not tight like some places have been to. The breakfast was alright. There s love s across the street but it s very difficult to find a parking spot after 6pm I recommend petro if you re looking for a parking space.

Waited for 22 minutes for waitress to give me a menu, then another 17 minutes and she never came back, I got up and left. This is my 3rd time in a month to eat here and every time it s been the same. I m on a schedule, like every driver out here and waiting that long for a meal should not be a issue. I sat in the Professional Drivers Lounge and others in the restaurant gets faster service than the truck driver. This place was once a good place to eat, I ll try the diner next door before coming here again.

04/30/2022 21:30Haven't been here but for parking in a while. Kasey at the fuel island was helpful, professional & personable.Iron Skillet was open & I was hungry as I haven't had a decent meal for a few days. My server Melissa & whomever was cooking were phenomenal!!!! My order (chicken parm) took a little longer than other places but came out hot, accurate & better looking than in the picture. If you're there, please be patient it'll be worth it. After a rough week the cleanliness & professionalism was greatly appreciated. I'll be back again when I come through for sure.

Corn was so dry I'm surprised it wasn't popcorn. Fish was stringy and dry. Total meal was inedible. Sent it back. Manager ( let's just guess it was the guy walking around doing nothing and talking to waitresses) was terribly busy straightening up ketchup bottles. Never came to ask what was wrong. Waitress was okay. Management not so much. Very disappointed.

Even though the decor is a little outdated, I can see that the employees do their best to keep the place clean . When I was pumping Diesel in the semi truck fuel island, there were two employees cleaning the pump station and the DEF station for at least 20 minutes before moving on to the next pump station. The bathroom was also outdated but very clean.

One of the best travel centers on east coast. Parking lot is huge. plenty of room to park for everyone. Showers are very clean liked the fact that there are so many showers 18 to be exact so that truckers and campers can share facilities without having to wait to use the showers. Overall a great experience.

Worst place. Workers act as they own this gas station! Parked at gas station at 2:30am my co-driver went in for face wash I cleaned window and bought some stuff from inside pulled my truck forward and started waiting for my driver (there was no trucks in any fuel lanes) old guy (worker) came to me asking to leave as I didn t fueled here and used there washer fluid to clean my windshield. Like seriously? I pump gas every day from petro/ TA. Really disappointed!! They need to be trained!

Petros are still my favorite truck stops overall, and this one is no exception. Clean place, restrooms are always clean, showers are good, clean laundry room, well stocked store, and good Iron Skillet restaurant. Getting a bit dated though, as most Petros tend to be post-TA acquisition. Truck parking area is easily one of the best I've seen. Great staff on hand.

Absolute trash everything and everyone working there is absolutely horrendous i had stopped in my semi to stay the night went inside to get a quick snack walked up to the register to the old woman working and said hello how are you she just looked up stared at me and didn t say anything so I repeated hello how are you she continued to stare and said oh I heard you then scanned my snack an asked if I would like to donate to charity I had said no thank you she looked at me an said it s just 3 cents wow I wish I got her name but unfortunately didn t I wouldn t recommend anyone to ever go here

Absolutely horrible service. They set apointment for next morning, and when I show up next day, come back some another time.Please stop booking service if you can not do service. Only one mechanic. When I show up 14:30 afternoon, they can not do service. When I show up 0700 am, come back for next day. I do not know why mechanic is available for very narrow window of hours, and they charge hourly labor fees for truck drivers 11hr wage.And quality of service is less than most developing country's mechanic one.When you go to Germany or Japan, mechanic are trained from experienced trainer by form of appareticeship. It is very intense sometimes by form of kicking and punching your face sometimes. But they learn professionalism.When you replace hub cap, hub oil leaks next day. When you ask for brake adjustment, brake shoe catches fire next day.I thought America is the last hope. But, I believe America is destroying civilization actually.

Do not get your trucks washed here!!!They had to do my truck twice and still couldn t manage to get it decent. Windshield still has bugs,wheels are dirty and paint still has dirt. Worst wash ever
