When my car broke down 2 hours away from home they were super nice and accomodating. They fixed my car no problem, relatively cheaply and quickly. It is near a train station so I could easily come back and get my car! Would go back again if it wasn't two hours away!

My family and I were on vacation in the Catskills and our water pump broke on our Suburban. We were 4 hours from home and in a desperate situation with all of our luggage and car seats being an issue. The professional staff at Wappanger Auto Tech were able to get our truck fixed in 2 hours! They saved the day! Great experience. 5 stars

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable!!! They do amazing work and they treat customers with the utmost respect and their service is tip notch!! I would recommend to anyone that before you go anywhere else for your auto needs, check Wappingers auto tech first!!!

I called triple A and they sent Brian from Wappingers Auto Tech for a battery jump. I suspected that it was my battery and had already gotten a quote from my car guy in Beacon .I decided to get a new battery.Not only did Wappingers Auto Tech charge me less than half the rate of my regular guy they did it quickly with amazing service! This shop will be my new car guy! Thank you all for the incredible service and great pricing.

We contacted Wappingers Auto Tech through AAA. In probably 5-10min time, Scott was there to tow our car after 5PM in the rain. He was so kind and helpful - we would absolutely recommend this location to others!

Phil and the crew are the people to see! They recently put an engine in my sisters car and it runs great. They also sell and repair a lot of power equipment. Anyone I know that does landscaping only deals with them anymore, that says something! Great people and they so honest work. Thank you once again

Phil was super busy yet still found a few minutes to pull my AC refrigerant out and put it back in and verified compressor was good with no leaks.I am so very grateful.Service: Air conditioning

Please do not go to this shop. You will be overcharge and disrespected. I went to this shop to get a diagnostic because one of the vents in my truck was blowing cold air one one side. I ask them to tell me what is wrong before doing any work on my truck. I have Car Shield and wanted to make sure it would be covered. Not knowing that I called Car Shield to make sure everything would be covered. This buster Phil who is the owner tried to over charge me by saying Car Shield does not cover what needs to be done and tried to charge me over $2,800 for a job that would be $700 with parts and labor. When I told him I was going to pick up my truck to take it to another shop to be repaired. Phil the buster took out parts and wouldn t put them back in my truck or return them to me. He charged me $145 just for the diagnostic. I couldn t even drive my truck to the new shop to complete the repairs. I had to call a tow truck. If you want to be lied to, pay more money and for your car to worse off than what is was when you dropped it off then take it to Phil the Buster at Wappinger Auto Tech! He likes to lie and they are far from professional just ask for Ashley and say what s up! She likes to lie on her customers and hit on the men who call. Watch your husbands ladies. I took my truck there thinking I would be treated with respect and get a good repair, it was the total opposite. Never again, fool me once shame on me, fool me twice the joke is on me and I am NO FOOL!

A real treasure of a place, with kind, helpful employees. Chris was the most kind and courteous tow truck driver I've ever met. Wappingers was able to identify the problem, place the order for the component, and even permitted me to leave my car there for a few days while I was out of town. Additionally, they gave me a AAA discount without my even asking. Excellent service at a reasonable cost. :)

Gotta say Ashley' s ability to quickly describe, diagnose, and summarize the solutions for my Tacoma was striking to say the least. AutoMechanic Barbie!But the real test is after I leave their shop and drive home and on the way i think of the little things I forgot to ask her to fix. But wait..her crew fixed 'em all. Buying a car? Bring it here for an independent inspection. I am a AAA member and found this business through the AAA website. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in the afternoon. I had concerns regarding a potential used vehicle purchase. I wanted a mechanic with no skin in the game to look it over and tell me if he saw any red flags. They threw it on the lift and looked it over. Took them approximately 30 minutes. While the car dealer salesman tried to make me feel like I was crazy to take it out for an independent review, all the staff in this shop agreed with me and assured me I did the right thing. Sales people want the sale. It is the responsibility of the consumer to advocate for themselves and get it reviewed by someone with nothing to gain or lose by telling the truth. After completing his inspection the mechanic came out to talk to me and ask me questions and make sure I was getting the right warrantys and guarantees when buying the vehicle. I purchased my vehicle with the ability to lay my head down at night knowing I did everything I could to advocate for myself and ensure I wasn't buying a lemon. While it may be a lemon, only time will tell. They had a reasonable price for the look-over. I highly recommend everyone in the area go see them when purchasing a vehicle.

Was told by another automobile shop that my front coil spring was broken and would not pass NY Inspection. Since I couldn't feel anything when I went over bumps and the car wasn't sagging on the one side I wanted to get a second opinion. Well without an appointment I drove in they took me within 5 minutes check my SUV brought me into show me where the crack was in the spring. They were extremely nice and did not charge me a thing. They will get all my business now for car maintenance in the future. Everyone there could not have been any nicer. Great customer service that you usually don't get anymore. Thank you so much!

These guys are great! They came and got my power machines on a trailer really quickly & have fixed my machines to top spec. They also give me a heads up before they button everything up, like asking to sharpen my tractor blades, grease the grease points, etc. They're good, so they're busy & there can be a wait to get your machine back, just don't be looking for a super fast turn around, the turn around is adequate.

Awesome service from these guys. They got the work done quickly and efficiently, and their rates were very reasonable. Their customer service and communication from Ashley and Barb was top notch as well. Highly recommend!Update: Dec 2022 - I'd add another star if I could! I had a rear brake caliper seize and had to take the car in the week after Xmas. They fixed a brake line hose, but when I got the car back, the caliper was still seized. I had to come by again later that day, but they got the car on the lift right away and had it fixed in less than an hour, at no extra charge. Very decent of them and a good way to make something right, it was much appreciated!Service: General repairs & maintenance
