These guys were great and really helped us out with a tough situation when our car blew a tire on the NY Thruway on a Sunday. Thought we would be spending the night in the area but they found the right tire and got us back on the road very quickly. I also forgot that when I first called I gave a $25 deposit to hold the tire which didn't get credited on the invoice when we checked out, but then I received an email the next day crediting back the deposit. That was very thorough and honest on their part to catch it and refund it. Highly recommend.

Really pleased with my experience here this morning. I had scheduled an inspection at the Poughkeepsie location but didn't find out until arriving that their inspector was out for the day. The desk rep. called up the Wappingers location and sent me right down. Wappingers took care of the car quickly and efficiently. Really friendly folks there.

Plan on dropping your car off or don't make any other plans that day. I've been here 3 or 4 times and I don't think my car has ever been on the lift less than two hours after my appointment time. This morning, I made an appointment online for an inspection at 4pm. They called to confirm and asked if I could come in early because the inspection guy left at 4. I talked to my boss and he let me leave an hour early. I got to Mavis at 3:15 only to be told "Can't do inspections today, brother.". I'm done with this place.

Very friendly, Chris and Everett helped me out with a slow leak on my tire. They explained the issue and got me all fixed up and good to go in no time! Will be coming back whenever I need any sort of tire service!!!!

These guys saved the day for me yesterday! I was doing brakes on a car at the house and the new pads didn t come with the hardware that I needed. I ran out to the auto part stores and nobody had them in stock. We stopped by this Mavis shop on Sunday 3/10/2024 and explained the situation to the guys at the shop. The mechanic Garry in the shop had some extra hardware that we were looking for and gave us a few spare pieces he had. Everyone was very nice at the shop and it helped me out a lot for what I had to do! Thank you once again

Didn t even get a chance to have work done. I made an appointment and when I showed up 20 minutes prior to my appointment time they told me they couldn t take me at all that day.Update: called the number below. The woman was nice, but asked me to call back tomorrow. Seams like the Mavis model is try again tomorrow .

Made a appointment to get 4 tires and a inspection done on my truck here s how it wentCommunication is absolutely awful people answering the phone have no idea what s going on yet alone what day it isMy truck didn t get worked on until hours after the time of my appointmentOne of my wheels was damagedOnline bill did not match the bill in person. I was charged more than the agreed-upon amount when I made the appointment.Call their customer care to report the damage and Issues immediatelyRegional manager reached out to me just to give me the runaround and not return my callsMavis is awful to deal with your not saving any money using them and most likely having your vehicle damaged as wellSpend a little extra and go to a reputable shop you trust

I m a regular customer for many years coming to this location it ended to be my last now for all Mavis because to me I took it personally,I came in for a NYS inspection at 2:30pm the gentleman came to me angry saying I had illegal ( tint exemption ) False, I showed him the paper work and documents from my doctor to him and the police officer that came to the verified that I have legal paper work after proofing the facts they declined my request.This place is not only for unprofessional he called me nasty names in front of my kids and he s a 4 year old. even he was wrong, what a denial person he is look at the image I sent him taking his middle finger and doing gangster signs and wanted to fight at place of work I called the police and placed a police report. Really unbelievable WHAT A HATTER against my tesla model X .I ll never get no type of services here ever again it goes towards my friends and family as while !!!!! Good luck

I took my vehicle in for an oil change, alignment and NY inspection. Well that sounds simple, but unfortunately my vehicle needed a few things before it would pass. As a pass tense tire tech I understand that there's different positions in the garage. I also know and understand that based on each position the person needs to be certified and/or licensed. On the day I was getting the work done there was a customer making a lot of disrespectful comments because they didn't understand what I did about the different positions in the shop. The customer was there to get an inspection, but was getting anoid because there was 3 employees in the shop waiting for thier next task. Customers not knowing that 2 of the people there were from corporate. Instead of the customers asking if one of the employees waiting for the next task could inspect thier vehicle the customer started making negative comments. If the customer had just asked the simple question they would have found out that there was only 1 NY state licensed inspector on site and that by law that only a licensed inspector can do the inspection. No instead the customer acted like a jerk and writes a bad review.

Came in with my mom for an alignment and a tire rotation Chris was a very helpful. He even topped her coolant, tightening some bolts that were loosen and answered any questions she had.

I needed an oil change and state inspection. I didn t think there was any chance I d get in for same-day service. Not only did I receive same-day service it was also really quick despite how busy they were. The guys were friendly and professional. Highly recommend this location.

Typically good customer service. Will assist you without an appointment and wait time is usually 2 hours. Good thing there is a nice Dunkin next door to wait around. Will bring you in garage bay to show/explain issue(s). Do not like to install your break pads without getting the new rotors, which drives up the cost. They tell you they will knock money off but are actually overpriced so technically not taking anything off. Paid $400 for front breaks and a wheel alignment. Claim pads have a lifetime warranty. We shall see the caveat in time. Expect them to push flushes and credit card on you as they have to meet quotas. I hear their break flush is actually not being performed properly , they just use break cleaner to disguise the fluid (heard from ex-employee s). If you purchase tires here, you get free tire rotations. Will price match or beat tire quotes from competitors. Always busy...

Two bad experiences in a row. First time, it took 3 hours for me to get my oil changed. But, I was understanding and liked the guys at the shop (they were very nice) so I decided to give them another chance.Went back today, and will NEVER go back. I made an appointment for an oil change, and was turned away. Why have appointments if you can t keep them? I would ve been understanding if they had the courtesy to call me before I drove down. I actively wanted to spend my money, and was told no? Doesn t make sense to me that s for sure.I called another Mavis in the area and brought my car down right after being turned away. No appointment, no nothing, and was welcomed in and taken great care of. Not only that, but the gentleman at this second Mavis location told me that the people at this location put THE WRONG OIL IN MY CAR.Something so routine and simple, botched.

Brian is reliable and honest . And I forgot his name but the manager at Hopewell was there and helped me at this location...he was great too. I trust these guys . Not Toyota. Do not go to Toyota . Whatever u do. Go here . These guys were trained by Darren. The Best in the business. Honest, reliable , and they have integrity. The work will be done RIGHT !! I been going to Mavis now for 3 years . I never had a problem . In fact , Mavis fixed a problem Toyota caused on my car . Every time I get my car fixed at Mavis , my car lasts . Every time I go to Toyota , they FIND something wrong with my car . Mavis is the my #1 choice for service . ( I feel bad I forgot the managers name in Hopewell but he is the one that covered fishkill one day and looks a little bit like Justin Timberlake )

I went in to try to get an inspection about two weeks ago on a Saturday and waited for about five minutes at the desk because two of the employees were in a verbal altercation. One of the employees was irate telling the other employee you re not my boss. It s a pretty poor display for customers to see.

Josh at the front desk was very polite, they were super busy, but still got my oil change, tire rotation and inspection done very quick! This is now my go to Mavis for now on & it should be yours too.

I was so happy with the service I had today! These gentlemen are my go to mechanics, and I have been bringing both my cars here for years. Carlos and Chris are both so wonderful and I appreciate their knowledge, professionalism, trustworthiness, and transparency when it comes to my vehicle. The waiting area was warm and inviting with some really cute fish and plants and I was able to watch my car being serviced which made me feel like I was a part of the process. Very kind people! I stopped in for an oil change and I asked if they were able to take a look at a couple of things I was concerned about with my car. It was a shot in the dark because I didn t have an appointment, but they got the oil change done and were able to show me exactly what on my car needed work as well. No pressure, just genuine advice. Definitely the kind of people who deserve the business!
