Never used chuck to fix any of my cars but if I lived near him I 100% would. Found chuck on YouTube and love everything about him. He s honest well educated on all cars. Thanks for keeping me entertained chuck and keep on working hard out there it will all pay off in the end.

Chuck is a real deal, "Old School" values man who keeps his word and truly cares about his customers. Great pricing and knows what he is doing so he keeps the time down on diagnosing and fixing the patient (vehicle). I trust him with the safety of my precious cargo!

Chuck knows his stuff! He came to me and did a free diagnostic to confirm a part I needed. I brought my car into his garage with a list of concerns and within an hour, Suzy called me back to let me know what chuck recommended regarding every concern and the cost of parts and the labor for each repair. Unfortunately the priority was that I needed a new radiator that can be pricey, so I opted to find one used or aftermarket and asked chuck to install it but he advised he only installs his own parts so he can warranty them. I understood and appreciate that for future visits. However, even though I went elsewhere for the install, Chuck was nice to enough to fix my windshield wiper fluid hose and replace my rear brake light free of charge. I know it was probably no sweat, but I appreciate that bc so many mechanics are not customer service oriented, they just want your money. Chuck gives the impression that he cares about his customers, not to mention his honesty and communication. He responds quickly and he can come to you in an emergency. Hopefully I won t need any repairs anytime soon but if I do I m definitely going to Chuck!

Wife was traveling out of town visiting family in NY and CT. Check engine light came on. Worried it was something serious and had to travel 250 plus miles back home, I looked for a highly rated repair garage. Found Chuck on Google with great reviews. Better than going to an unknown garage and getting taking advantage of. Called Chuck and next day, as scheduled mechanic showed up where wife was staying at a friends. Mechanic was absolutely great. Checked engine and diagnosed in minutes. Luckily nothing serious and could wait until back home to see our regular mechanic. Best yet, there was no charge! Feeling obligated for such great service and refusal to be compensated, we referred him to my brother-in-law, who just happen to need work to be done on his car! Very professional and courteous. If you are looking for someone honest reliable fair and just a great person this is your guy. I honestly used to worry about where I ended up with my car when I had an issue and if I would be able to trust them because I clearly have no idea about anything regarding my car. Just so thankful to have our mechanic now! He's the best!

I had heard about him from a friend of mine that works at the local autozone. When I first heard about it, I was stoked! A mobile mechanic that comes to you is not an idea that you hear about often. So to have somebody like this in the local area is amazing! He was very communicative and honest about what you need (unlike all auto shops that lie to you or screw something up by accident ). He works with your schedule and is very knowledgeable. When he said he had an apprenticeship available, I wish I had known about it at the time. He s willing to teach you things if you want. One of a kind! He came out to my house twice. Once to fix a wheel bearing I knew needed replacing and to change my oil and once to fix an awful noise I kept hearing. The noise was apparently just a dust guard rubbing against my back wheel area. He fixed it and never even charged me for the visit. He is super kind, very reliable (the second visit was on a Sunday evening!) and respectful. The majority of the time when I bring my minivan to a shop, I feel out of place and uncomfortable. He was awesome and I immediately felt comfortable with him fixing my car. He also speaks so highly of his wife and kids which was sweet. The quotes he gave me for my van beat other shops in my area by a significant amount and I didn't even have to leave my house. He will forever be my go-to mechanic and I'm so thankful to have found him.

I met Chuck at a deli and he gave me his card... I called him the following Monday and we set a time -in my driveway!- at 2:30pm. Chuck showed up on time and did the job (change my front brake pads) with his helper Melvin. They efficiently did the job and the price was exactly the price he quoted me. This was 4 days ago and my car is running like a top, no problems at all! Make no mistake, these guys are professional 100%! It is such a relief to find a good, honest mechanic!! Thank you Chuck!

I never leave reviews but I needed to for Chuck. He called me and helped me through a transmission issue after being stranded for 5 hours. He gave me all the right advice, I got my car where it needed to go and everything worked out! He called to check up on the status and is an incredible communicator. These guys saved my life and it didn t even need saving. I was driving, far from home, and had noises from the engine and my car was slow to start. Chuck had a tentative diagnosis over the phone (!) but then met me half an hour later and confirmed that my car was safe to drive and that I didn t need to keep it running for fear of it not starting. Absolutely fantastic service.

My Kia broke down and I was unsure where to bring it. After speaking with him on the phone, he suggested bringing it to the dealership because it sounded like it would be covered under warranty. He was absolutely right, and he didn t even look at my car! I m very happy I listened to him because it would have been a huge inconvenience bringing it to another shop. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

We have a bucket truck that had a transmission problem that needed onsite evaluation and work. He swung on by an was able to diagnose the problem. He was honest, easy to talk to and very fair with pricing. We highly recommend Richard (AKA Check Engine Chuck) !

The Axle on my chipper needed to be changed out because it broke last night. Rich was at my house one hour after I called him (came immediately from where he was). He had the axle off in no time and I am currently waiting on the new one to come in. I asked rich if he could put the new axle back on when it comes in while I am away on vacation so my company can be back up and running when I return home. He told me he can have it done this weekend. I can not recommend this guy enough. He has helped me out every time I am in a pinch. He is good, fast and extremely fair. Thank you Rich! Its great to have a mechanic I can trust.

My car started making a noise so I needed some help. He had a couple ideas of what might be going on after we talked and he was able to look at the car next day. Ended up being a bent dust shield that he easily took care of. Car is nice and quiet now! Amazing experience to meet a mechanic who talks to you like a real person and shares information about what he knows. And the fact he comes to your house makes life so much easier!!!
