A great stop where you can rest and eat. The bathrooms are clean and modern. I've been visiting this stop for years. The staff here are friendly. I only come up here when I go up to Schenectady. It looks better than before.

I'm glad to see that they are updating the rest areas. Nice to have a clean rest area. Panera Bread needs to post their menu on a large screen that shows prices and availability so you know the options before going to the kiosks to order. Without this, you are stuck doing this on the kiosks and preventing others from ordering on the occupied kiosk. Their very automated system can use some common sense.

The rest stop was recently renovated. It s lovely inside with very comfortable seating areas. There are a limited number of healthy food options. Only Burger King and Starbucks are opened on Sundays. As you can imagine, the line at Burger King was long. Unfortunately, they did not make my order correctly at Burger King I was happy to have this rest stop opened again as Sloatsburgh is closed now. Starbucks has a drive thru which was great

It took a long time, but the renovated area is so much better than the old stop.Clean, comfortable, ac outlets available.Currently a burger king, Chick-fil-A, taste new York, and Starbucks.One area is still under construction so not telling yet what that will be.Happy it's all done.

Facility quite pleasant, food options great, but it gets CROWDED at peak times -- Pro move is to place your order in advance via web/app for pickup .

One of the nicer rest stops, specifically the bathroom! Pretty clean, but the best part is that each sink basin has it's own soap dispenser and hand dryer! Genious!

Very nicely renovated. Plenty of choices for food. Clean restrooms. Just happened to be very crowded on the day we stopped there; in part, it was because every alternating rest area is being renovated right now.

Easy on and off highway. Nice new building but there is no reason the restrooms have no heat in them and are freezing in the winter. Especially the ladies room. Newly opened yet 2 of the the 5 sinks not operational with water or hand dryers. Unacceptable when it was built with taxpayers $$$.

As roadside highway spots go, this one was awesome.I will only add that we did have to pay $20+ for two bowls of soup at Panera. Captive Audience. So it can be a pricey stop.Very clean and airy, well designed.Bathrooms are the first ones I ve seen where they have the hand dryer next to the tap and soap dispenser - over the sink. Seems like a great idea.I would look for a GreenApple location and stop there again, if only for the nice seating and the bright clean atmosphere. Plus, large clean bathrooms.

This tranquil and bucolic travelers oasis nestled deep in Appalachia provides eclectic offerings in a sleek and modern environ that belies the vernacular architecture it's modeled after and yet provides the comfort and familiarity weary excursionists look for as if a lighthouse on unfamiliar shores. 10/10 my friends got Starbucks and chick fila.

This was my first visit to one of the newly refurbished NYS Thruway rest areas. They did a fantastic job here. Panera is not yet open. There was a farmers market outside on the day we were here.

Can t rate it more than this. As of 12th of June, they are doing over the entire service center. It is a bare shell. The only thing available is petrol (gas) and a small convenient store. They have portable potties outside. No place for your pets and no seating area. I drove in and straight out. Hopefully when they are finished with the refurbishment it will be like it used to be or better. Kudos to the signage personnel who made sure travelers knew not to expect anything but petrol at this stop.NOTE: The next service station is 40 miles away.

after the renovation, this place looks as it should! It's clean and tidy. You can grab a coffee, eat a burger and relax. I'm really pleasantly surprised!

If you are stopping to change a baby, every changing table there is installed improperly. Instead of pulling down from the wall at a 90 degree angle, so the baby lays flat, it hangs down at almost a 45 and the baby rolls off. You have to prop the table up on your leg or hip to hold it up enough so your child doesn't fall off while being changed. And it's every single table, including in the single use bathrooms. People were offering to help me in the women's bathroom it was so bad. Needs to be fixed.

It's the sign of the times. Walked in this service plaza and ordered my meal from the self-order board. Got through the process and went to pay with cash, but they don't accept cash, only cards. I wasn't walking in 14 degree wind to go get my wallet, so I left hungry.Slept there for a few hours. Got up in the wee hours of the morning (3:30 am) and went inside and poured a cup of coffee, again forgetting my wallet and credit cards. The cashier was laying down in one of the booths, playing with her phone. I asked if anyone was working the register and she actually got up and went over to it.A 16 Oz coffee there is $4.09...stuff is all overpriced and expensive at those service plazas. It is what it is.

Decent rest stop with many shops to choose from if you're looking for a quick meal. Little busy at times, but not too bad. Clean restrooms.

Really new and nicely renovated service area in newburgh. Nice modern style inside with a great feel. Definitely worth stopping in on a long road trip.

I love the new service area. It looks amazing and is clean with great options. The reason for the one star review is because of the service provided by the new Starbucks. It is really mismanaged. The line moves quickly, but the staff making drinks there cares more about talking with each other than serving the customers. Currently there are no fewer than 30 people waiting for their orders to be filled. Too bad because it should not take 20 minutes to get a hot chai.

Love the rest stop. However, don t go to the Burger King. It takes way too long to get your food. I saw people come in, order for elsewhere and eat before we got ours. This was the second time this happened.

I like that the place look like a big open coffee shop. The furniture is cute and different. The furniture encourages socialization. The restrooms are more efficient for large groups and modern.

Place is so nice. I was stopped by to bye a cup of coffee from Starbucks but they don't open till late night. But they had coffee from different brand it wasn't that much good but still i got a cup of coffee at 2 am morning. Stuff are really friendly.

What is the purpose of having a Burger King at a truckstop that closes at 10? The one down the street from me is open till one but the one on a major Thruway closes at 10. Good job.

As a Canadian, this place was absolutely beautiful. Restroom, very clean. Many restaurants are used from all around professional. Thank you.
