Worst experience I have ever had. Will never go with them again. I took my car there to get windshield replaced, paid out of pocket. After I paid they decided to tell me they broke a trim piece on my car but don t worry they will find a replacement (which took them over a month to do). I had to keep calling and asked to speak with district manager twice which they did not even have the time to talk to me at all. The woman at the store I talked to last time was the rudest person and should not have a job after talking to customers the way she does. After hounding them for my replacement trim piece I finally got it after 5 weeks and the paint job was the worst I have ever seen. They could not find my trim piece matching color so they had to paint it and looks like a 5 year old painted it and there is no clear coat on it. I was just happy to have a solid trim piece that was not broken and now held on by duct tape. I figured I would handle the color mismatch by suing them as I think that will be the only way to get them to make this right at this point. But there are much better replacement window companies around please stay away from these scammers. You will thank me.

I went to Safelite in my hometown and the wipers they gave were faulty. This Safelite was so understanding and switched out my wipers without any issue. While waiting I overheard the woman at the front desk talking to customers and she really cared about giving quality products and cared about the customers. 10/10 would go to them again.

We had our Ford Escape s windshield replaced after it was cracked from the cold. Safelite worked well with our insurance company and handled everything with payment and scheduling. The facility was clean and staff were very efficient and the glass was repaired in about an hour. The only issue we had was the 2 week wait for an appointment, but it is what it is.

Hello warning to all this was my second appointment 1st was told after waiting that the entire crew is sick 2 days later installation to happen. Waited as expected they finally pull up. Unfortunately they pulled up on my grass and 3 away from my porch entrance so motioned him to back up. And he got out with an attitude saying we aren t starting this off good. And I agreed your on my grass well apparently he didn t feel like working so with an attitude he tells me he will have his boss call me and leaves , I just stood in disbelief that this is how business is being conducted . Or is it me is it ok to drive on grass and give the homeowner an attitude. While the homeowner is simply asking to back up the truck . Called the actual shop and again boss is not in . And my windshield is being driven around by a self entitled child and no authority at the shop to get the driver and rectify what has just happened . 2 days lost for me so I m warning everyone unless you like wasting the days find a better glass company

Absolutely the worst automated answering system in the history of answering systems. Why is there not an option to speak to a person? Why in trying to speak with a real person did I get switched to Spanish, why can t your automated answering service recognize the numbers and or commands given. You should change your slogan to safelite impairs safelite infuriates

Had me in circles for a month. Came late in the dark, couldn't do job, first guy brought wrong windshield. 3rd guy said my frame was bent. Took a month to find that out.

A Safelite Auto glass "technician" came to repair 2 chips in my windshield, wasn't here even 10 minutes and put a huge crack through my windshield then, wouldn't give me a discount towards a windshield replacement. Very poor quality of service, would NOT recommend!

I had Ryan (Binghamton/Vestal area) come out yesterday to replace my windshield. He called to confirm the time and showed up when he said he would. He took great care of the windshield and even did some preventive to the seals. I noticed him working on the front of my jeep, so I went out to give him some water and and check on the work. He had buffed out a scratch that I had on the hood where I put to much paint on, out!!!!. I was so impressed, he did not have to do that at all, but he went above and beyond. He explained everything he did and also gave me some pointers. I would highly recommended Ryan for any future work that you may need. He was professional and knew what he was doing.

The Safelite in Vestal has a great team of people working there. Everyone is polite and welcoming; I chose to wait there while my car was serviced and the staff offered me coffee, water, chips, the use of the office TV, etc.The service was completed in just over an hour and the technician (Obregon) did an excellent job. My window had been smashed in (although no one took responsibility) so there was glass all inside my car and Obregon was very diligent about removing ALL the glass not just what was necessary for him to get in and do the repair.

Over all extremely impressed. They estimate 2 hrs. Was done in 1 hour. Price was actually cheaper than what I was quoted. Staff was very polite. Highly satisfied. Will reccomend to anyone that needs a new windshield.

Had to return to the shop 3 times after the service to replace a cracked windshield. Twice to fix the rearview mirror that was reinstalled incorrectly and another time to have them vacuum out broken glass. Even after they supposedly vacuumed it all there was still glass everywhere. The tech was beyond rude about the broken glass and was indignant that we would ask that all broken glass be removed.

Great experience. Showed up early to appointment and they took the car right away. Were done in no time at all and very professional. Offered to text me throughout the process after appointment was first scheduled. Although I waited for it...this service would have been extremely helpful if I had dropped off the vehicle. Unsure on prices as done through auto insurance.

The automated system when you call is beyond frustrating, and a waste of time. It kept telling me to use the website that said the truck had not been started yet. When i eventually got someone one the phone, they had to transfer me to another person who said the truck has been completed. I then sent someone to get it, to only find out it had not been done. If you value your time, use somewhere else.

We took a stone to the windshield and Safelite "repaired" the chip. It was even more prominent inside the car afterwards! I immediately went back and said that it was totally unacceptable, I want the windshield replaced. They scheduled me for the following week. Meantime, the "repair" turned into a three inch crack, and after I went to the car wash it became a FOOT LONG CRACK! After replacing the windshield, WITH AN AFTER MARKET, NOT A TOYOTA WINDSHIELD, there is a huge gap across the top, and while driving it sounds like one of the windows is cracked open! Along with not cleaning the inside of the windshield, and leaving the dash a mess!!! THIS CAR HASN'T BEEN OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE FOR THREE WEEKS!!! I WANT A TOYOTA WINDSHIELD, NOT AFTER MARKET PARTS! We'll now have Budget Auto Glass order a Toyota windshield and do the job correctly!

Scheduled service and dropped car at Vestal location. Got a call 30min later informing me that they could not complete the job because the glass had come in scratched and damaged. 2nd Safelite location to tell me this in the matter of 3 days. TOld me it'd be weeks until another would be delivered, offered no other options, and then left my key on a tire for pickup...terrible practice! This place should have a protocol for safer pickups and dropoffs!

Technician was knowledgeable and very quick With the repair. Waiting room was small but had the essentials. with wifi, tv, coffee, etc. 10/10 could repair my windshield again. My wife also ended up using this location and was also very happy with the service provided. Sometimes insurance may give you push back for using such an expensive location but it's worth it

I had a scheduled appointment today with safelight to replace my windshield. It was obvious from the get go that the technician did not want to work today. We had a small snowstorm last night and when he called in the a.m. to confirm the appointment he used every excuse in the book to try to get out of coming to our property to change our windshield. We told him the vehicle was stored inside a large floored building that he would have easy access to he s still argued. The technician called at 12 o clock to tell us he was on the way from a town 15 minutes away took him over an hour to get here when he got here it was obvious by his body language and tone that he did not want to be working today. He then proceeded to look at her vehicle and tell us he can t replace our windshield because he thinks there s a rust under it. It was just obvious that he did not want to work today. Sad never again. Using another company from now on.

I had a problem with my rain sensor after they replaced my windshield. I brought it back asking if they knew where I could find the part to fix it, they fixed it right on the spot almost a year after it was replaced and even offered to replace the whole windshield if needed. Great guys.

I don't normally rate 5 stars, but I actually did like the service. I turned my car in at probably 15 minutes before they opened and the guy accepted and I got it about an hour later. I literally went out to eat with others and came back to get my car. Simple and quick.

Not impressed, definitely don't recommend. Took my 2021 pilot in for a cracked windshield on 6/2. No big deal, right? Wrong. Appointment was for 9am, so I dropped it off the night before, left keys in drop box like told. I was told it would be a 3 hour appointment, as they had to do some windshield calibration due to the technology features. Ok, no problem. I'll pick it up end of the day. 4 o'clock rolls around and I havent heard anything. I try looking up a number to the vestal shop, but low and behold, you can't just call their shop. You have to call the 800 number and talk a national rep. From there, you will find out all they can do is get ahold of your local store, and have them call you. They will not give you the number. So after giving up on that, my wife decided to just have her father come get her and bring down there. We had no reason to think the car wasn't done. So after driving 20 minutes, and arriving 15 minutes before closing, they tell her that nope! The car isn't done. Your 3 hours appointment turned into 2 days and we weren't even going to tell you! She ended up leaving and having to borrow another car for the second day in a row. This is where it gets good though. Wednesday, around probably 2 o'clock, we get a call. "hey so, car is kind of done, but not completely. But you can come get it." Like what? So she went and got it, and what did they say? "Ok, so here's what happened. We out a non-oem, aftermarket windshield on your brand new car with 900 miles on it, and guess what? Your safety features no longer work! We will now have to order an OEM windshield, and have you bring it back for a third day." So now our 3 hour replacement has turned into 3 days!!! We were told they would call us when it was in. This was Wednesday 6/3. By Tuesday 6/9, I still havent heard anything, so I call them again. I finally get in touch with something at the vestal store and this is what I'm told: "oh, you were told they put in an aftermarket windshield? Well that can't be true, let me check.... Hmm, the boss no, that's not true. Actually, we just need to re calibrate the windshield again, not replace it." Like what???? Why couldn't you do that one of the last two days?!?!In all, I have zero respect for this place. I now have non-broken windshield and my safety features work. What kind of windshield I have, I have no idea and never will. I was handled by insurance. I will never use this place again and will highly recommend against it to all family and friends and anyone else that will listen. They offered zero compensation for either keeping our car for three full days, or for living to us about what the real problem was.I would give 0 stars if possible.

Called my insurance company to get them to fix my windshield and Everytime they schedule an appointment for me they call me several hours before my appointment to cancel and come up with an excuse that it is raining or it is snowing if you don't do house calls for people with out a garage state that on your website and I would be happy to bring it to you. The manger was rude and talking over me and I don't think that is professional business when you are not going to listen to the customer. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE SAYING THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

Although they do a nice job on glass I've dealt with them twice now and have to say they could definitely be more customer friendly. It's like they know they're the only game in town. In my opinion they don't really care if the customers happy at least that's how it seems to me.

I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone. The staff was professional and courteous and my small windshield chip was fixed in 30 minutes. The whole process from scheduling to the repair was very efficient and easy.

I just put my car on the road when my windshield decided to crack. Safelite made it super easy to have it replaced while I was able to be at work. Great communication and super professionalism. The technician was prompt, courteous, and did a great job.
