I heard these people had quite the reputation back in the day but it seems that today Storm Crankshaft may have let go of the values they once held. Staff are very unprofessional in conversation, they misplace parts, and they almost never answer the phone for questions or work scheduled appointments. If you re doing serious builds, I recommend a shop reputable for quality and effort versus one who cares about a quick buck.

Harry works hard, and is alway's willing to help out. He Fixed 2 of my turbo manifolds and milled it flat, because it was warped.Manifolds came out perfect, official work ty and i had a bolt stuck in my water pump and he was able to remove it with no complaints. Good work with no complaints!!

I had a busy repair shop in Yonkers for over twenty years and always used Storm Crankshaft for all my machine work. I averaged over twenty rebuilds a year and never had one problem with their work. The automotive industry is a tuff one to survive in if you don't know what your doing....these guys obviously know what they are doing to be around as long as they have.

Small but widely known business in automotive and marine engine machine shop repairs. Staff has a great deal of knowledge in the line of business and are very customer oriented.

Had an engine built here a few years back, after I received it and put it into my car I noticed piston slap so I took it out and took it back to them to check it over, few hours later I received a phone call saying that the problem was fixed to come and pick up the engine. I reinstalled the engine and it had the same problem .I called for someone to come listen to the noise it made and Harry came to listen to it after fighting with them for a few weeks. Harry listened to the engine and said it was a top end noise meaning it was in the cylinder head. I ended up taking the engine out once more and running an entirely new setup. I then took the engine to a friend's shop and watch him tear the motor apart and low and behold we figured out the problem. Storm bored the engine out too much. There was so much wear on the pistons I had to get a new set which set me back $1200. I've learned my lesson with these guys and will never go there again. Great guys to sit down and talk to but that's about it.
